The Zerga Arrive (Future Tech)

OOC-This has been pre-written by both Feazanthia and The Swarms. I am posting it on both my and his behalf, seeing as it would take too long for both of us to RP it out and it's more dramatic this way.

Note: This takes place in Feazanthian space, far far away from the ESUS/Shivan conflict (three years by maximum Star Trek warp).

IC-

FSS Charon - Yaeger-class Frigate - Commander Tel'set commanding
On Patrol in Newlon System, Feazanthian Space
Operational Orders: Patrol outskirts of Newlon System and discover source of intermittent contacts.

A small blip had appearing on a rotating globe in the center of the Charon's comm center.
"Filter out the phase variance..."
"Correct."
"Cue SAPs..."
"Yes..."
"Filter out subspace distortions...I think I got it."
A small piece of plaspaper came out of the printer.
"And so, like Beethoven on the computer, you have labored to produce..." Corporal Loho tore the plaspaper from the printer and studied it. "A biologic."
"A what?" inquired ensign Beaumont.
"Gargantis Proximae, Beaumont. Gargantis Proximae. A gigantic, spacefaring animal that knows a helluva lot more about radar than you do. Kill SAPs. Training over at 1600."
"I aint never heard of this ‘Gargantis Proximae.' We got a visual?"
"Oh, why not? I'm off duty." Loho pressed a couple of crystalline keyes and a holographic projection of a massive, insect-like creature with massive, spindly legs replaced the globe. It seemed surrounded by hundreds of thousands of similar creatures. Smaller, winged creatures darted in between them. "Look's like a whole bloody herd. Jesus, I've never seen one so big."
"What're those little things with wings?"
"Dunno. No one's ever seen a Proximae baby. They could be parasites too, though."
Proximity alarms went off throughout the ship. Beaumont hit several controls.
"High speed projectile inbound! Unknown composition! It's coming from that...that herd!"
"Shields u-"
The ship lurched as something slammed into the forward saucer.
"What was that?"
"Plasma-based projectile, sir. Forward saucer nacelle heavily damaged. Breaches on decks three, four and six. Weapon pod seven destroyed."
"Jesus! That thing ate through seven meters of armor! Source?"
"Sir...you may want to take a look at this..."
The holographic image flickered and changed. What replaced the almost majestic Gargantis Proximae was an ugly, disgusting creature. It had two massive claws, each with three ‘fingers'. A multitude of smaller appendages sprouted from the creature's oblong, wider-than-it-was-long body. Its ‘face' was eyeless, with massive interlocking jaws. Just then, the jaws separated and a strange fleshy orb appeared. With the limited holographic generator on board the Charon, Beaumont and Loho could see strange blue pulses beneath the cover of the orb. Suddenly, the orb was ‘spat' from the mouth and accelerated by some unknown agent. The Charon tried to dodge, but the orb slammed into the right nacelle, wrenching it from its holdings as the plasma detonated. Hundreds of thousands of the smaller, winged creatures accelerated towards the Charon.
Commander Tel'set stormed from his ready room just as another of the biological plasma bombs slammed into the Charon.
"Report!"
"Hull breaches on decks three, four, six, eight, and twelve! MACs offline! We've lost four AMP batteries!"
"What is it? Shivans?"
"Unknown, sir. We were tracking a herd of Gargantis Proximae and...and..."
The Charon gave another lurch and an atmosphere tube burst above them. "And we just started getting pelted by plasma bombs! We've got weird winged things flying all over us!"
Tel'set gave a growl and turned his triangular head towards the statistic screen. It showed the Charon venting atmosphere and small specks swarming all around it. AMP batteries discharged, swatting one or two of the specks, but they seemed oddly adverse to the formerly foolproof weapon's effects.
"What're they attacking with?"
"The little ones are attacking with what appears to be some sort of condensed acid!"
"Acid shouldn't be hurting our armor. It's the best the ESUS has to offer!"
"Tell them that, sir!" The ship gave another lurch as an engine nacelle burst.
"Damnit! Get us out of here!"
The Charon turned slowly, too slowly. Suddenly, the plasma bombs and acid sprays stopped. The specks on the holographic display began retreating.
"What's happening? Why are they leaving?"
"S-sir? You might wanna take a look at this..."
The holoscreen was dominated with a massive structure. It looked like an odd blending of organic and metallic material.
"Sir, we're being...hailed..."
"Hailed? On...screen..."
The massive organic ship disappeared and was replaced by infinite blackness. The ship's speakers rang with a deep baritone voice.
"Biological organisms. You have been identified as non-Zerga. Lower your shield and surrender your ship. We will add your biological distinctiveness to our own. You cannot resist. You shall be consumed."
Within the massive sphere of the organic ship, smaller organisms began swarming. They were tiny, little more than a meter long. They had short, stubby wings and long grey teeth. They flew at incredible speeds, almost the speed of light. The Charon had no time to react. As the Scourge rammed the mighty frigate, atmosphere vented explosively. As the Yaeger frigate burned in its death throes, the Zerga swarms moved on.

OOC: This thread looks interesting. And I'm glad The Swarms asked your permission. Which of course proves he's niether a N00b or a godmodder. As of yet, my people are unawhere of the situation, unless Feazanthia contacts my race.

Another important question: Where in the galaxy is this taking place. I ask this for realism purposes.

The Zerga Swams continued to attack the Newlon system. First they attacked Newlon Prime, sending down hive spores onto the largest cities. Massive Ultralisks and Dondisks slashed and burned everything non-biological in their path. Hundreds of thousands of larvae swarmed through the streets, latching themselves onto the Feazanthians and adding their biological material to the Overmind's. The Zerga began constructing their bizarre organ-structures on the surface of Newlon Prime as the Zerga fleet took up position around the world. Nothing would get through.

OOC: This sounds alot like the Zerg from Starcraft...
