OOC: First off welcome to the thread. Second please forget the elections I held sometime ago has I had no idea of what I was doing. Third enjoy and reply.

IC:

The massive military funeral in honor of Maransune's first General Secretary, Isikio Tatamori, who just died, was truely huge has thousands lined the the streets to watch casket pass by on its way through the country before being inturned in the soil of the Tatamori family farm in the south. The rumor on everyone's lips as watched the prosession, was that the General Secretary's maverick daughter, Asuiko, had returned from the self imposed exile she sent herself into after the great coup that installed the Communist system in place had happened. The rumors were true for sure engouth in the western provinces of Maransune Asuiko was plotting and planning to stage a coup of her own, one in which she would become Maransune's first Empress in 200 years.

Asuiko walked into the room were all of the generals and civilian leaders in the western provinces had assembled. "Gentlemen!" she said in a loud clear tone "I have brought you all here because I want to rule this land. My father's coveted communist system has been shown to be nothing but trouble for Maransune am I right?" every one nodded "I wish to become the the undisputed Empress of Maransune and after much deliberation I hae decided to come to the western provinces, for they have to be the most resistent to my father's fools in New Tokeyo. So I wonder was I right to come here?" The assembled men looked at one another in shock before finally one of the older generals, named Hirama Mitsunari stood up and addressed them "My fellow generals, my fellow warriors, I stand behind Asuiko, for she is by my beliefs the country's last hope for a return to our magneficent past." at this the old general got his knees before Asuiko and said "I do hereby in the presence of all here swear my life, my men, my sword, and my honour to my new Empress, Asuiko!" one by one the other generals followed suit. the civilian leaders looked at one another berfore one of thier number, Takui Satama, stood up and spoke "we here in the west have no great love for the communist goverment in New Tokeyo, we stand by you Asuiko." Asuiko smiled to herself and spoke after a few moments "very well gentlemen lets get moving."

Over the course of the next several months Asuiko and her supporters prepared for proclaiming the the new Imperial goverment, this included plans for the quickest possible way to make the military forces who would probably remain loyal to the communists a non factor, for even with the Western Army loyal to her the communists still had a greater military force. Asuiko hoped earnstly to repeat her father's bloodless coup, and with luck she might succeed.

One cold and drearly morning in New Tokeyo lead elements of the 221st People's Mechinized corps, of the People's Army of the West rumbled without problem past the city guards and into downtown in what looked like to many observers as inventive shortcut to Shuikukon Military Complex on the eastern side of the city. But the Generals watching thing in the office building that hosted the General Secretary's office knew something was up. "What are those idiots doing" said Lt. General Ken Fukora "it states in the handbook that no division may come into New Tokeyo without sending a request to my office. I didn't get any request" "as much as I hate to admit it the penpusher's right" grolwed out the Chief of Staff for the Army, Josie Kanka. "Hey!!" yelled Lt. General Fukora "don't call me a penpusher" General Kanka ignored him and said "I am going out to investigate" "umm General I wouldn't go out there if I was you" called one of the office people. "Why not?" replied Kanka "see for your self" sure engouth down below was mechinized troops halftracks and armored cars arranged in blackade around the building. Then off in the distance a bright light flashed then sped towards them "OH DA....." was all he got out.

"WE HIT THE THEM RIGHT ON THE GENERAL SECREATARY'S FLOOR!!!" came the happy yell from the on screen artillery commander to Asuiko in Fusakara, the western capital. "Good job commander now get me Mitsunari" said Asuiko "At once madam" a few moments the face of General Mitsunari appeared on screen "General sieze control of the city, try to be as bloodless as possible, remember we don't any messes to sweep under the carpet" Mitsunari saluted "As you command my Empress" then the screen blinked out. Asuiko turned to one of her assistents "broadcast the proclaimation message to every channel in the country, then broadcast the international message. I going to my room, do not disturb unless it is of great importence" "at once"

The International broadcast:

"Nations of the world I am Asuiko Tatamori, my father Isiko brought Communism to Maransune. But I never liked my father's system so he exiled me, I did not go into exile by own choice as the rumor my father has so spread amongst my nation and several others. This message is being broadcast beacause as I speak forces loyal to me are securing the country my ascension as it's Empress. I am asking for the nations of the world to reconizge my government here in Fusakara as Maransune's one true government"

I applaud your overthrow of the corrupt communist system. You have taken a very good step to the right, and we predict great prosperity for Maransune now that they have lifted off the shackles of liberalism.

We do not approve of the violence and potential tyranny coming to rise from this revolution. While your desire to overthrow the old government is great, you are not giving the people any say in this matter; without its citizens, a nation is nothing.

The assitent knew the messages that had been recived were very importent and knocked on the door of the chamber were Asuiko was meditating. "Come" the assitent entered and handed Asuiko the messages. Asuiko examimed each message then walked out of chamber and into the transmission room. "We are ready to broadcast Empress" said the transmissions specialist "good" she replied.

"To the following nations:

DPUO: the people have had to endure my father's brainwashing for years, they are in no condition to make a descion for themsevles

Communist Mississippi: Thank you the advice I take it into consideration

Sevaris: It has been a hard struggle planning all of this, but I am confident that I will lead Maransune into a new era.

"NAS I am very happy to have your reconigization, I shall see to it that embassies are exchanged as soon as Maransune is compeletly under my control"

Queen Sarah III pursed her lips, examining the reply. It had been a few days, and she had ordered her intelligence to keep a close eye on any further broadcasts and information leaked by the Maransune government. She signalled to Lord Benjamin Hilton, her personal advisor and best friend.

"Ben, keep me posted on this whole Maransune situation. I want to be informed as soon as the situation changes." She said. The mildly aging ruler sighed and leaned her head back in her throne. "If you don't mind, I'd like to be alone for awhile."

Hilton nodded and bowed, leaving the throne room. The Monarch stared at the piece of paper in her hands; considering what to do with this situation.

Marcus Jones looked at the message Lucy had just handed him and shrugged. "Usual excuse. Can't think for themselves so we'll take over."
"Yeah, but it's not really our business is it?" asked Lucy.
"Nah, not really." He looked tired. "Anyway, we have enough to worry about."
"Not too much though," Lucy replied, with a smile.

Asuiko smiled broadly as the car carrying her through the streets of New Tokeyo passed through the streets slowly on its way to the Imperial Palace, which had been a muesuem since the days of the Republic. All around the people watched her go by, only a few actually cheered her. All well she thought once the re education program begins they'll understand . A hour later Asuiko walked into the throne room where each member of the new Imperial goverment was ordered to meet her at. Asuiko at down in her throne and smiled "Let the review begin!" she said loudly. "Your Imperial Majesty" said General Mitsunari "The country is under your supreme command, but there is some pockets of dissenters" "WHAT!?" yelled Asuiko "I thought you would not tell me it was okay to come here to New Tokeyo unless the the entire country calls me Empress." "Please calm down Majesty" said Mitsunari in a calming tone "We shall have these dissadents put down in a month" "That is not fast engouth, all those snooping internationals need is one sign of resistence to make me look like a failure." After a few moments Asuiko got up and walked to one of the windows "General Mitsunari use whatever means at your disposal, including my father's vast stores of chem and bio weapons to put these dissenters down. And make sure that those snooping internationals don't get even a hint of this, understand?" The generals nodded. The Asuiko turned to the civilian leadership "how long will it take for you to compeltely due away with my father's wacked system?" after a few moments the mayor of New Tokeyo stood up "It will not take long Empress, only a few months at least" "Good, now I am going to retire to my rooms for a hour or two, you are dismissed" with that Asuiko got up and left.

"Your majesty, I have recieved a full detailed report from the Minister at the RIA." Hilton's voice ruptured Sarah's quiet meditation as she opened one eye. Hilton was breathing hard, he had probably run the entire way here. The poor man wasn't exactly in the best shape either.

"Thank you Ben, but you know you didn't have to rush all the way here," she said. Hilton chuckled, handed her the report and left the meditation chamber.

Sarah walked back to her throne room, only dimly aware of the two Royal Guardsmen trailing her wherever she went. Finally she reached the massive chamber. Stretching widely she sat down in her throne; it was soft and comfortable.

The Queen began to read.

After the last page she closed her eyes. Whatever they were planning, she knew it wasn't going to be good.

She activated a small radio on the table next to her throne. "Hilton, can you hear me?"

The radio clicked in response.

"I want all of the RIA agents in Maransune on full alert. They are to show absolute confidence in the current ruler, but not to actively support her. If possible, they are to make contact with the rebellious elements of the population and learn more about this situation."

There was a slight pause. "Is that all Your Majesty?" Hilton responded dryly.

"Yes, thank you Ben." The aging queen said, clicking the radio off. It was going to be a long day.

"Comrade Prime Minister?" asked the aide, tapping lightly at the door. Frantic scuffling sounds emanated from within, as though he had been interrupted in the middle of something very absorbing. The aide heard an annoyed groan, and then saw the door open.
"What?!" asked Jones, visibly annoyed. "I'm...busy. What is it?"
"News from region station 16B. There's a rebel faction in Maransune. I, I thought you'd want to know."
"Very well, very well. If you don't mind I have things to do, I'll see you in 20 minutes." And with that he shut the door. The aide listened, but heard only a few rustling noises before he left.

Empress Asuiko was drinking a cup of tea and listening to the assorted members of her advisory council argue and complain with one another before a ringing sound interupted her. "What is it?" she said angerly "We have a sititution in the south madam, they have declared themselves the true government of Maransune" "WHAT!?" the advisors stopped bickering and stared at the Empress, who backed out of the room and into her private chambers. "News of this must never get out do you hear me Chu Long, NEWS MUST NOT GET OUT." At the other end Chu Long winced at the tone in Asuiko's voice "Don't worry madam no news that has not been sanctioned by my ministry will not get out" "Good because if it does it will be on your head, Asuiko out." Chu Long closed the comm unit and moved to the comm console on the other side of the room. After pressing a seris of buttons the face of Yusa Sadramara, head of Internal Affairs apperead on screen, she was not happy "What is it Chu Long?" she asked. "You probably know of the communist insurgents in Kesan by now" "I do" "well Asuiko is very unhappy about this so work to get the sitution under control faster then normal" "Will do, you bet on that, Yusa out" said Yusa as she clicked out with a smile that only be interepetd as dark enjoyment at her job. For all our sakes I hope your right Yusa thought Chu Long as he left the room to retire for a rest.

Premier Kolyenyakh sits at his desk in a large octagonal room neer the top floor of the kremlin palace in Sobakagrad, his top three men, his greatest aides in the revolution not very long ago from this incident bringing the Socialist party back to the top, stand around the desk. Mikhial Kolyenyakh sits adjusting his position in the chair thinking, he had been told about this situation a few days ago during the Red Square parade showcasing the massive military that had just been rebuilt and he didn't want to worry about it then. He has pondered action for 3 days now and reviewed all possible actions.

"Excuse me Mikhial." His intelligence officer Yakoff Yakutz says breaking the silence.

"What is Yakoff?" Mikhial asks indifferently.

"Well sir, this woman, this Asuiko. She obviously doesn't have the following of the people... yet. However, from what i've gathered there are a few generals that seem to share her Napoleon Complexe and seek only to better their own disposition by exploiting the people and we-"

"Well what Yakoff? What is it, cut to the chase." Mikhial grunts cutting him off.

"Oh yea, of course. As I was saying, I think these generals, provided a little bit of incentive, may just help us out." Yakoff says with a grin.

"Alright Yakoff, we'll try that, but not right now. Go try and gather some more information on this country. Ivan." Mikhial says turning and looking at a tall broad man in a military uniform, "Go ready our Spez Naz forces for combat, activate the 3rd Navy and the 476th Brigade of the Peoples Army. I don't know what may come of this."

Ivan nods and walks out of the room with Yakoff following suit, leaving just Mikhial and Conrad Kelski in the room. Conrad never played an active part in the revolution but is a very wise man in diplomacy that Mikhial noticed during the battles working closely with Yakoff.

"Conrad, prepare me a video feed, i'm going to address this now."

Conrad nods and sets everything up as quickly as possible.

"I sit here tonite, behind this desk with a grim feeling of hate and angst towards the current "leadership" of the nation of Maransune. If the certain leader of this nation should hear this message on this night, I would like her to know that I, Premier Mikhial Kolyenyakh, will not sit by and watch my Communist brethren suffer under the tyranical hand of Imperialism. I demand on this night you step away from the national helm and lay down your arms, or I fear action may be taken. I'll give you five days to think over your choices."

the feed cuts and Mikhial walks into a secure room sending a message to Ivan to begin full activization of all missile implacements, nuclear long range submarines and battleships with in hour.

Asuiko watched the transmission from Hutu with growing anger each moment she listened. "IMPERIALIST!!! is that what he called me, ME !!! Who has done nothing but good for Maransune these past months!!! The imperitence of these communist dimwits!!!" meanwhile the advisors calmly waited till Asuiko stopped her rant. "Perhaps we should think over this offer madam, after all this Hutu seems serious and I am not sure if we could survive a war with them" said a nervous advisor. "You are a tratior" said Asuiko who then shot the advisor through the head "Anyone else want to speak? No? Good, hook me up" she said walking unto the transmissions platform. "We are ready Empress" said the tech "Good" replied Asuiko as she prepared to answer Hutu.

"Premier Kolyenyakh, this is Empress Asuiko II of Maransune. I reject your demands and demand that you stand down, I have the full support of Maransune behind me. If you invade you shall fail, for Maransune's brave soldiers will not, in the words of Stalin, a perfect example of Communist evil 'one step back' so invade if you must but we shall not surrender."

We've been keeping an eye for the last few weeks, but now they've gone and declared themselves independent! The "True Government of the Republic of Maransune." He grinned wryly. MEANWHILE

In Kesan, capital of "True Maransune"

Yusa smiled broadly at the wide collection of men gathered around her, arguing over who gets first dibs on her. I love this part of the job she thought as she reached for her concealed pistol. Yusa grinned as she saw the suprised look on the face of the rebel leaders faces as she said "Up against the wall now" the first leader ran at her, Yusa shot him in the head. the other five looked at each other and for ran for the door at the other end of the room, only one made it out. Yusa pouted, she hated leaving a job unfinished but she had to make a good cover story for when the guards came in.

"I know that," replied Lucy testily. "But Marcus needs his sleep. Is it urgent?"
"No ma'am."

Mikhial presses a button on his desk with a sly grin as a projection screen creeps back into the roof, Yakoff and Ivan stand just behind it and wait for Mikhial to speak. Mikhial sits in his chair grinning pulling out a cigar and lighting it and taking a puff of it, "She truely is foolish, relating me to Stalin, this contry pulled away from Russia because of that man. We are the voice of reason here, manical people like this shouldn't be alowed to live in a free world. How are things Ivan?"

Ivan steps closer to the desk and clears his throat, "Well sir, the forces are moving as quickly as the can preparing themsleves for full duty, give them another hour. I went ahead and activated a few more Peoples Army units to partial-active, just incase."

"Very good, I will let you get back to your men then Ivan, Yakoff i'm sure you have things to do, so go ahead and do them, I don't need anything of you right now."

The two men leave again Mikhial nods to Conrad and he begins to set up another video feed giving Mikhial the thumbs up when it's ready.

"Asuiko, I sit here, my feelings alittle hurt with you comparing me to that butcher of a man named Stalin. It hurts, yet deep down inside I know you are just a foolish little girl and do not know any better. So I again being the reasonable man will give you another chance to turn yourself over to Hutu with out any bloodshed and let the Communists take their country back."

The advisors watched the latest transmission from Hutu with pipued interest while Asuiko kept getting angry "LITTLE GIRL!?!?!?!" she screamed after few moments "He called me a little GIRL!?!?!" she yelled again "hook me up, I got a few words for Premier Kolyenyakh"

"Premier you are truly a fool if you think I will stand down after calling me a little girl. I will do know such thing for I observed what my father did during his time as First Secretary with those who did not agree with him before my banishment. I will stay on my throne."

After this Asuiko stepped off the platform and stormed out of the transmissions center and into her room. Still angry she was not happy when she saw a message from Chu Long, but it managed to signifently help her mood. "Mil' lady" the message began "The 2nd Division has marched in triumph today into Kesan, the insurrection is all but finished and we beginning clean up operations and arrests."

The man on the other end of the phone acknowledges the order and launches the two small black missiles. The missiles are painted with a metal alloy paint to be as stealth as possible and fly in the upper atmosphere to be more invisible on radar, when the reach their target the warhead will split and scatter 20 smaller bombs across the ground.

Corporal Jason Nesbith watched from the window of his apartment as half a dozen "insurrectionists" were dragged out of a house by military police. Inside he was disgusted at the lack of freedom and the horrible tyrrany. Outside his face was set in stone, a drab, somber gaze that was so boring he could blend in anywhere.

One of the men tried to break free and run, but was shot. There was a click as something was dropped into his mailslot. Turning he walked down the hall and picked it up. It was a simple letter from his partner near the core of rebel operations.

"Dear Jason,

Things are getting scary over here. Military Police almost located this resistance cell three times now; they have seen my face at least once, so I'm going to have to cut off communications temporarily. Keep your weapon close, chances are they will come looking for you once they identify me.

Your friend,
Yuriko"

He cursed and ripped the letter into pieces. Tossing it in the wastebin he returned to the window. He reached into his pocket and removed a small radio; adjusting the controls he soon managed to tap into the MP lines.

"...suspected rebel sympathizers Narako Tsuyaka, Kachi Notoshiru and Jason Nesbith last seen in..."

Jason nearly dropped the radio, but instead shoved it in his pocket. He looked down and saw soldiers entering the building. He was on the 3rd floor, that gave him plenty of time to prepare. Shouting from the floor below broke the tense silence. A moment later gunfire sounded and shouting could be heard.

He rushed into the bathroom and climbed onto the toilet. Above him was a loose spot in the old wood paneling. Gently he pushed up and aside, climbing into the attic above. Replacing the boards, he looked around. This was an old storeroom long since forgotten. He had been using it as his personal supply depot.

Silently he propped himself close to the wall and listened. The door to his apartment crashed open and heavy footfalls could be heard. There was a series of doors being smashed open and calls. After a minute of searching the soldiers left.

He released his contained breath and opened a chest next to him. Silently he removed the R-7 9mm from its case. Slowly and deliberatly he slid a clip into it. He then pulled out a large device similar to a tape player. He unreeled an antennae from its case and attatched it to the ceiling of the attic. With the simple click of a button a coded message was sent out in Japanese. Even if read it would make little to no sense to whoever read it.

"RIA bungled up pie time. Sick bro bad reach time. Alpha beta to Core Wolf Nine. Compromised. Situation bungo true. Over."

A few minutes later, hundreds of miles away, a listening post across the border picked it up. Within ten minutes the message had been relayed to the Tenarius Royal Intelligence Agency. The news had reached the Royal Family.

Asuiko was not happy the recent explosion of two missiles of the capital and the detection of fighter planes was deeply disturbing. Asuiko had hoped for peaceful acceatence of her rule, now she had to defend it against enimes no matter she mentally assured herself they will not fail . A hour later the military leaders of Maransune had convened and were perparing for war. Asuiko felt the tension of the room as she walked in, not mention anger, but towards who? "I have called this meeting to plan for the defense of Maransune in the case of military invasion and occupation of our territory" she announced "I have decided before hand that we shall scatter our forces into individual units to carry out guerrila operations if the replusion of invading forces along our beaches by the Army of West fails, do you agree?" The generals glanced at one other for a few moments then one of them spoke up "Mil' lady we are in agreement that your plan is a good one, guerilla warfare as always served us well in the past, however we would like to propose that you send half of the Army of the East to assist them" Asuiko thought for moment then nodded "very well we shall send half of the Army of the East..." Asuiko then stopped as if she thought of something but was not sure what to say "also effective immeadiatly I am allowing the military complete control of the country until the war is over." The generals looked at each other suprised by the descion, at this time Hirama Mitsunari, Asuiko's greatest supporter stood up "We shall yet you and by extension Maransune down my Empress. We shall not fail" cryies of "hear hear" could be heard by the other generals as Asuiko backed away to go to her rooms, hoping that war would not cost her throne and her life.

I don't read the whole Text, it's 1:30(AM) here. I only have one thing to say:

The people's flag is deepest red,
It shrouded oft our martyred dead,
And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Their hearts blood dyed its every fold.

[Chorus]Then raise the scarlet standard high
Within its shade we'll live and die,
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here.

Look round, the Frenchman loves its blaze,
The sturdy German chants its praise,
In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung
Chicago swells the surging throng.

Chorus

It waved above our infant might,
When all ahead seemed dark as night;
It witnessed many a deed and vow,
We must not change its colour now

Chorus

It well recalls the triumphs past,
It gives the hope of peace at last;
The banner bright, the symbol plain,
Of human right and human gain.

Chorus

It suits today the weak and base,
Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place
To cringe before the rich man's frown,
And haul the sacred emblem down.

Chorus

With heads uncovered swear we all
To bear it onward till we fall;
Come dungeons dark or gallows grim,
This song shall be our parting hymn

Chorus

Comrade Premier, I and all the people of Hutu thank you for your backing it is good to see that there are still true Communist nations willing to back each other in the world today.

The patrol of submarines creeps toward Maransune slowly, 7 subs in all 4 Red Star Class attack subs and 3 Kamchatka Class missile subs. Back in mainland Hutu the Hutuian national anthem blares over the speakers at the Vladivostok Naval Base as the troops load onto ships and the fleet heads out. 1 Lenin Class Heavy Aircraft Carrier, 10 Trotsky Class Helo Carriers, 5 Taratin Class Heavy Battleships, 5 Sobaka Class Missile Frigates, and 5 Shimdah Class Destroyers.

Just another 100ft from the docks the Peoples Airforce loads up into their heavy bombers. Twenty long-range stealth bombers take over carrying 15,000lbs of guided bombs in all take off for key targets in Maransune.

Within Sobakagrad the ripping sound of missiles firing off is heard with a grouping of 12 Pack-20 missiles aimed at Maransune hoping to hit some strategic targets inside the city and possibly elimate some of the Army Generals.

Gentlemen, I would ask you to show restraint. Evil though the current regimen in Maransune may be, destruction of it makes us Imperialists also.

OOC: Why does everyone refer to Asuiko as 'young lady' y'all are sounding like parents. Also I will have to leave here until tomarrow please don't do anything militarily until I post again, is that alright with you?

IC:

Yakura Nodasaki noticed the burning fires of town of Taska as he rode past on his way to his command post at Kyoarama near the places were the enemy was likely to come a shore at. If one good thing comes from this war it is that even those hate Asuiko are rallying behind her now indeed as unbelievable as it was the whole populace has rallied behind Asuiko, stating that patriotism is the overiding factor, no matter the government. Nodasaki smiled at this as his car stopped and his assitants helped him out. "Status repot Mr. Kama" he said the arrogant young man standing in front of him "No landings yet general though the enemy has stepped up his air war against us, the latest bombings are resulted in horrific casulty rates, volunteering is up as a result." "hmm.... that is bad Mr. Kama but the rising rate of men and women is certainly a good thing, continue to fortify the countryside" then the general turned towards a young woman next to him " daughter" he said to her "to the engineer corps to begin doing every thing to can to help" "Yes father" said Amara as she turned to go.

MEANWHILE
In New Tokeyo, The Imperial Palace

Asuiko was not happy with the latest message from forgein affairs as she stepped unto the tel platfrom "Alright were ready Empress" said the Tech.

War is not the answer to Maransune's problems. In your thirst to end their imperialist reign you would become an imperialist yourself. We humbly suggest that you take a step back and reconsider your decision.

Asuiko, you do not have much longer to decide. Either the safety of your people and Maransune or the destruction of you and your armies. If you love your people and your nation so much, you will step down and allow democratic elections to take place. This is your final warning.

Orders for the 97th Louisianaian Bomber Wing
You have flight orders to Maransune. You will be notified of your exact mission once airborn.

Mikhial is seat behind his desk much like he has been for most of this incounter, he pushes a button his desk and the screen pulls up from where he had been watching the Maransune news. He then picks up some papers and reports and scans through them eventually coming to the days newspaper. It seems everyone's still in the dark in Hutu he thinks to himself. It works out better that way I supose. He shuffles through some more papers then types up a message to CL.

It would seem some people claim we are being imperialist in this yet they don't jump to correct the problem. I believe they want to appear moral yet stay true to their own ideals which differ from morality. I do not think these fellows know that Asuiko is murdering her own citizens, which is what we are here to stop, she is a manical leader that must be stopped.

But you know why we are here, you stepped up to help. I believe the easiest way to do this is fight this as a war of attrition. The people of Maransune seem to be clinging to their country no matter what. If we drop bombs, launch missiles, and institute some propaganda in key places, this war should be over in a month with troops on the ground for 3 days. No need to throw any of our troops into the meat grinder for no reason. I would like to hear your ideas on this, or your plan of attack.

All we would really like to see is this little girl with a large ego step down and allow elections. If worse comes to worse, we will step in to hold elections for the people since their own current government seems not to care about the people and their welfare.

This war with the main body of government wouldnt take long, but the resistance from the very few supporters of the little girl would might take a while to beat down. We do think that a propaganda war is in order. It would make alot of the resistance stop and what not.

Asuiko stood by the window oberserving the ruins and fires from the latest bombing raid (OOC: I assume thier was one, correct me if I am wrong) and it cause her much regret. Asuiko had promised that she would not let things be worse then under father, and now they were. Have I done the right thing she thought is any of this worth it? . Asuiko wondered if this throne was worth all of these deaths, the people stood behind her only because of love of country, but what would happen afterwards? This is going to be hard "Kim" she said calling her assitant "Yes ma'mn?" "Tell the techies to prepare to record two messages, one for Maransune, one for the Internationals" "Will do ma'mn." Asuiko took a deep breath, she hoped that this was the right choice.

"To the International nations

I have seen the results of your air war against me and it breaks my heart, my resolve to protect my people and my country from Communism is great, but this is too much. I ask for confrence in New Tokeyo to diccuss a possible peaceful solution to the conflict"

As the Hutuian fleet takes up a position far off the coast of Maransune, another squadron of 14 H-11 'Hammer' fighters take to the skies flying a patrol for the bombers. Back in Hutu the message from Asuiko is recieved, Mikhial seems a little uncaring at first then decides to go with it.

I'll give you a chance to negociate, I have an officer on a ship neerby, he will arrive in a clearly marked Hutuian Helocopter with 1 guard. If anything happens to either of the men and they can't leave the country, I will not hesitate to launch a full scale invasion to retrieve them.

Asuiko looked at the message and nodded at it this might be my only chance she thought. "Techie" she said "hook me up for a message to all generals in charge of air defense" "aye madam". Asuiko centered herself and spoke calmly "Attention all air generals this Empress Asuiko, stand down your defenses I repeat stand down your defensives. The enemy is willing to talk with us."

Yakura Nodasaki watched the Hutuian heli fly over his command post If these talks break down I am going to have to move the base and troops so they won't have the upper hand . "Father what is happening? why are we not shooting them?" asked Amara with a concerned look. "Asuiko has called for a ceasefire to discuss a solution to the war" "But Father that would mean that Asuiko would have to step down" Yakura sighed "I know and I don't like bowing out to the communists but Asuiko is the empress and I am bound by honor to obey her" Amara nodded and slumped "If the communist system is restored I wanna move" she said. Yakura got a far away look in his eyes "we will, Amara, we will"

NEW TOKEYO

Asuiko stood flanked by Yusa and Kim as she waited for helicopter to arrive. "Mil'lady I beg you to reconsider this" wispered Yusa "just let me infiltrate thier homelands and I'll kill thier leadership" she continued with a evil smile. Asuiko shook her head "No I stand by my descion" "GRR". A few moments later the heli landed and Asuiko stepped foward "I am the Empress Asuiko and this" she said pointing to the right "is Yusa Sandaharma, my head of internal affairs and bodyguard and on my left is Kim Kakura, my secretary and the daugther of the army chief of staff during my father's reigime". Smiling Asuiko walked foward and opened the door of the palace "lets talk shall we?"

The man that stepped off the helo was of average height and strength, his military uniform was kept well pressed and was highly decorated with the insignia of an officer of the Hutuian Peoples Army. When greated by Asuiko he nods, "Quite a quaint introduction you have there, who I and my guard are isn't important, let us just make this quick." he says staring blankly around the area and then follows Asuiko inside.

When they arrive at the meeting area he takes the initiative and makes his countries demands clear, "Premier Kolyenyakh will settle for nothing less then the full and complete unconditional surrender of Maransune, resulting in the peaceful occupation of Maransune by a force of Hutuian troops."

But I would like ask on whether or not I can keep my throne". Yusa and Kim looked at each other in suprise and shock "Are you sure about this Empress?" asked Kim "I am certian that this will only end in disaster" "I am sure" replied Asuiko.

We demand two things. The first is that democratic elections will be allowed to take place and my nations army will provide security for these elections. The second is to take all government powers away from the throne of your monarchy. We would allow the monarchy to stay only as a puppet such as Japan and England.

26-07-2004, 22:18
"Yes, unconditional. You may keep your title but the country will be ruled by a prime minister as elected by the people of Maransune. No one currently associated with your rule, your military, or any bussinesses owned by the government will be allowed to be elected." The Hutuian officer says with quite a smug look in his face about how well this went. "Now, you will order your forces to stand down on the beaches, and at the anti-aircraft batteries and the forces to ensure the elections go on as democratically as possible will land as soon as possible."

"Very well, though I am unhappy no one assoicated with me may run for office, I know plenty of good men, but awell. I am happy to hear that I can at least keep my title, now if will let me I shall now go tell the military to demobilize until futher notice, though many of them will not be happy with this." The officer nods and walks out of the building to his helo and radios to the Admiral in charge of the fleet telling him it is clear to land the troops. Then the order for the troops to load onto the smaller landing boats and amphibious APC's and the first 150,000 troops of the roughly 400,000 Infantry head towards the shore with the Transport Frigates following slowly behind with the rest.

Asuiko walked into the transmission room and walked onto the platform "Prepare to bradcast to all generals in Maransune" "all right we are ready"

"Attention my good and faithfull generals much to my regret I have agreed to surrender, the Hutuians will be arriving shortly to assure free elections. It is because of this that I am ordering a complete standing down of all armed forces of Maransune, all forces not manning the SAM batteries are to go to their sector's beachead at once. Those at the SAM batteries are to stand down at thier posts."

The first of the troops land all across the shore line and slowly work their way towards the capitol. This first force is tasked with holding the capitol and country side neer the capitol.

Shortly after the first forces wash up, a group of large frigates becomes visable from the beach and smaller ships begin shuttling the rest of the soldiers to land. The soldiers then secure the beach and load into trucks and go to various cities in the country so the presence is felt.

Asuiko watched the Hutuian troops march past the palace and begin to step up positions they must really want these elections to succed, but isn't this an overkill she shook her head walked past Kim "I am going to retire to my rooms, make sure no one disturbs me unless it is the Hutuians" Kim nods "But what about the elections?" she asked "surely you would want to know how they turn out majesty" "No I do not want to know Kim. Now make sure no one disturbs me" with that Asuiko walked through a door and locked it behind her.

Meanwhile downtown a young man stepped up from the shadows and addressed the small crowd "Comrades!!" he shouted "Now is the time for us take back what is ours!!
