Atlantis set out on a gigantic frigate, laden with trade goods and other precious materials to one of their local allies. Also after the trade goods were dropped off, the ship was scheduled to make a trip around the world, to explore how much it has changed. However not 10 hours after it left the Atlantis ports, an unknown vessel sunk the Frigate from underwater, one missle and the wooden ship was blown into oblivion. After contacting one of their allies, Atlantis concludes that it was a "Submarine" that sunk Atlantis' frigate. Confused and dazed, Atlanteans wondered why someone would kill 50 innocent people on one ship. Meanwhile the High Council attempts to contact its allies for answers.

The union of forces sworn to protect the Ancients strongly suspect that the Arabs were at stake in the destruction of this vessel. Further information will be given after more investigation. Meanwhile officials have been sent to Modern Atlantis to pursuade the prime minister that attacks such as these are very uncommon in the world.

The People's Republic is willing to offer our full support in locating the wreck, which may yeild evidence of the type of weapon used in its sinking. We share your concerns at this act of piracy, and it is in our mutual interests to locate those responsible.
The hydrological research vessel PRSS Knorr is en route to the area to assist in the search. Any information you have about the last known location of the vessel would be extremely useful in narrowing the search area.
