First International Meeting of Delaina
The order for the telegrams had been sent out, soon, many of the worlds nations would be hearing a request for an open meeting for leaders from any country in the world to come and negitiate things such as treaties and international trade with the growing nation of Delaina. Delaina's dictator had opened a sort of embassy within his country for the use of all who desired relations with Delaina. This embassy would serve as a place to discuss trade, politics, peace, war, alliance, and several other issues that might be best considered under the collaberation of several nations.
The morning after the telegrams were sent out Damien Winters, current dicator of Delaina, set out to his private offices to prepare his opening speech for the upcoming gathering. He would have to be prepared if he wanted the other nations of the world to take him seriously.
"Herold, would you mind bringng the car around to the front, I will be finished shortly." After five hours of checking, rechecking, revising, and rehearsing his speech Damien had finally decided to head out to his meeting, all of this work would be wasted if he didn't show up.
Upon arriving at the gathering Damien's armored car drove through the single lane that had been cleared of civilians and press. Neither would be allowed to attend the meeting, but surely enough, they would be waiting outside for it to finish to ask their fair share of questions.
After entering the gates of his embassy he made his way to the third story balcony where he would wait for the arrival of his guests.
Cameron Moore spent an uneventful and boring flight taking a rather long nap, despite the fact that the skyplane's reactor was probably leaking gamma radiation, again.
Well, after getting shot five times in Wye's streets, Moore was once again off to talk with world leaders. The Board of Estimates and the Diplomatic Service tended to pool their resources where foreign relations were concerned, and he was a member of the Board of Estimates.

After getting off the skyplane and passing through customs, Moore somehow got to the 'embassy' without very many problems. He affixed the "Weyrean Diplomat, attack at your own risk" badge to the front of his jacket on the way.
"Not bad," Moore said privately, going through the front entrance to the embassy building.
Upon arriving at the embasy, Cameron was escorted to a large conference room where he was shown a seat and given a plaque to place on the desk in front of his seat. The plaque simply contained the name of the nation he was representing, and the date in which he first arrived in the embassy. This would be his place from now on official meetings taking place in the embassy. Any of his cabinet members that came along with him would be seated to his left in order of his chooosing.
The same sort of seating would be arranged for any others who arrived at the meeting.
Realizing how rude it was to keep his guests waiting, Damien made his way to the conference room. He stepped up to the seat bearing the name of Delaina, it faced the same direction as the other desks, it was no different from the rest. He turned in his seat so that he could view the representative known as Cameron Moore and gave him a nod of acknowledgement.
"Thank you for considering my invitation to conference. Hopefully others will arrive soon, until then please, tell me what delacacies (Sp?) you're great nation enjoys, I would be glad to have the cooks serve some up for you."

Cid Carpenter, Kingdom of Cullenus representative, stepped onto the dock after enduring a long trip in one of his country's fishing crafts. Cursing at the poorness of his nation and also slightly seasick Carpenter proceeded to cleaning up and changing into his formal wear.
Stepping out of the cab in the front of the embassy Carpenter straightened his tie and proceeded toward the doors clutching his notes.
As with Cameron, Cid was was also escorted to the conferencing room and given a seat and plaque, his seat was the the right of Cameron. As Cid entered the room accompanied by his escort Damien gave a nod to the escort as a silent order to return to the lobby of the embassy.
"Welcome, take a seat, I was just offering some fine dinning. What great foods does your wonderful nation relish in?"

Cid Carpenter representing The Kingdom of Cullenus..
I would like to go ahead and address an issue. My nation is very poor. However recently we have received many generous offers from other nations offering assistance in armament, supplies, services, etc.
So we have recently gained a sizeable Navy, in comparison to the size of our nation, soley through donation with the exception of one Curtis Fabus Class Battleship (BB-04) unmodified.
This has opened our eyes and we now seek help and assistance through other nations. I would like to discuss any trade options that may be available.
Damien smiles at this representative's eagerness to get to the point. He sets a briefcase onto his own desk and opens it. Inisde are several manilla folders with various headers. He pulls out two, one labeled military, and another labeled automibile industry. He looks over some of the files.
"Well, from what I can tell, our largest sector appears to be the manufacturing of automobiles. Now, our military has almost no funding. Now, I apologize that I can not provide you with armament, but I believe you will find the import of automobiles to be satisfactory, correct?"

"Currently automobiles are of low value in Cullenus due to our low population and land area. We provide most neccesary transport through our semi-complex transit system. However we do have a large demand for international transport which is nearly non-existant in Cullenus. Would Delaina or Weyr have any offers in the way of transport aircraft and/or ships?"
Moore took a small PDA from the inner pocket of his suit, and quickly checks up on the statistics for both Delaina (http://www.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=Delaina) and Cullenus.
"We have 4,000 units of the Mark I main battle tank for sale. I'm afraid that all of our other systems are currently beyond your capabilities to either buy or maintain. As to transportation, what exactly are you looking for? Cargo ships, container ships, supertankers, trans-oceanic aircraft, space planes, private jets . . ." Moore shrugged.
I apologize, but our international trade has been suffering for some time, and considering we have very mass transit industries of our own we are unable to aid you in this matter, but to aid a fellow nation we could get to work on an international airline project. Does this sound fair to you?
Bump, this is the first and last bump, after this one I'll let the thread die.
