Although NWV is currently engaged in a War with Irasland and their illegal use of Nuclear weapons against the nation of Tyranis, nothing stands in the way of Free Elections in our great nation. From an original list of 10 Candidates, which was whittled down to 6. There now stands 3 Candidates who are standing for the election of President of NWV, and the States of NS decide on who enters or reenters the Presidential Palace in New Berlin. The candidates are getting ready for the results and everywhere has reached fever pitch with around NWV. So who are the candidates again?

President Adolf Hitler II
Credited with changing the face of National Socialism, long term economic gain coupled with a socialist ideology against corporations and for worker's rights he has long championed the cause of equality and changed how other nations view National Socialism worldwide. Economic growth over his 2 prievous terms (8 years of non-stop growth) coupled with the expansion of the public sector and reformation and new investment of public services. He has also championed Religious Tolerance. Also he has championed the cause of the armed services with record investment. Has kept Inflation and Interest rates low, he like Krammer, also believes in Union of National Socialist Nations, but more in terms of Economics than Military (Although he does agree with a NSA (National Socialist Army) to be deployed rapidly as peacekeepers).

Wolfgang Yurtz
Wishes to return to the 'glory days' of National Socialism, believes in expulsion of all Immigrants and return to the death camps. He has been widely criticised for his religious intolerance and wish to disband the public sector and worker's rights. An ageing National Socialist on the far right, this may be his last chance to enter the Presidential Palace. Although his views on the 'master race' are believed to be outdated.

Jurgen Krammer
A centrist ex-Military General who agrees in some ways with expansion of the military but believes mostly with expansionalist policies. His economic model revolves around public works projects and conscription for foreign conflicts. Widely liked by the older generation, but hated by the younger generation he believes in Union of National Socialism Worldwide to create an unbeatable alliance.

Good, so far the existing president leads. His economic record speaks for itself as does his transformation of the military.

I suppose economic policies are as important as military ones. If I could change my vote I could...Meh.

We also voted for the current President because he believe in religious tolerance/racial equality.

Ah now THAT'S why I didn't vote him. Racial equality is out, as is religious tolerance. Up the fascists.

Erm......there is a difference between Fascism and National Socialism. Fascism does not believe in racism/religious hate. It only goes after those who are enemies of the state. Case in point, Fransisco Franco, who would not enter WWII, and helped Jews to escape. Mussolini was not too keen on handing his over, either.

The list of candidates was presented to the secretary of state, who perused it immediately...and frowned. He quickly distributed copies to the rest of the cabinet members and joint chiefs of staff, and cleared his throat.

So... he said, This is what NWV has to offer...the incumbent, a psycopath, and an imperialist honcho. I am gravely disappointed...

NWV does not wish to engage in military action with The Zoogie People after we have worked so hard to avert military action. The candidates were picked by the people, this is how they where whittled down to 3 people. If you wish it, I will send my Interior Minister over for a meeting, that is if you have any problems with the results.

OOC: Quite the contrary, it is not because they are fascists. I have a strong fascist ally in West Pacific (the nation, not the region). The incumbent initiated death camps slaughtering - liquidating was his exact word - of all capitalists and atheists in the country, including fourteen of my citizens. Only through massive, multinational international pressure did he quail, but several nations are still demanding his government to surrender. I told him I'd give him the chance of national elections.

Which are available, democratically the nations are voting on who will lead the glorius nation of NWV into the new millenium.

Get me online with NWV, growled the secretary of state. His request was quickly fulfilled, and soon he was face to face with the NWV government.

Democratic, yes, he began, A choice between two neo-nazi genocidal maniacs and a militaristic imperialist maniac...we may reserve judgement until after your leader is elected and we see what he does, but things are not looking good.

"Then" Replied the Secretary of State barely controlling his rage, "We will have to take.... other measures, to ensure there is not outside interference in a democratic process. The people of our nation speak..." He continued, "And the International Capitalists of this World try to put them down. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE FURTHER ATTACKS UPON A DEMOCRATIC PROCESS THAT IS ALREADY IN FULL SWING!"

The secretary of state laughed. We are not trying to sabotage your democratic process. Your leaders have spoken for themselves. Your incumbent has proven to be a genocidal maniac, and one of your challengers is as well.

We are having no hand in sobataging this election, although you have left that possibility open....allowing other nations to decide your leadership...I ask you...we will not try to put your people down, if it is your people and not perceived international opinion that is truly deciding leadership. In fact, we won't put your people down at all.

But fourteen civilians of Zoogiedom have died at the hands of your government, and we have taken no action. We have even requested leniency for you from those bent on attacking you right away. Far from sabotage, we have tried every last diplomatic route.

We reserve judgement...but bear in mind, we are watching. Do not cross our nation again.

We are putting our vote on the current president. Like Reichfurher Wulf, Hitler II believes that tolerance is essential for survival. That, and the fact of his economic record alone is reason enough to give him our support.
