A soldier runs down a hallway and bursts through a door.
Soldier: My Lord, a large band of heretics have taken over the town of Truman, in the south! Advisor Ford is on the black phone.

Mattman XXXIV: Thank you, Corporal. That will be all. (Picks up phone) Ford! What's happening in my backyard?

Ford: (lights up a cigarette) Sir, Heretic forces, led by a--(shuffles through papers)--a former lawyer named Stan Jonston, have taken the city of Truman. They have taken the military base, the local government center, and the local hospital, all at massive casualties.

MMXXXIV: Give me numbers, dammit!

Ford: Early estimates place 2,000 Heretics to about 9,000 of our Milita.

MMXXXIV: Good God! How many does that leave to march upon the Holy Temple?

Ford: Approximately 30,000.

MMXXXIV: With that many, our SFUDS (OOC: Special Forces Urban Defence Specialists) and Marines don't stand a chance! They could take the capital within a week. What about the 74th Militias?

Ford:They are too spread out to make a strong battle line. Without support from other nations, these heretic forces will remain unopposed until they hit Redlan.

MMXXXIV: OK, Ford. I'll make a plea to other nations. You must contact all the SFUDS and tell them they deploy tomorrow.

Ford: Yes, sir
(Both hang up)
MMXXXIV: Corporal, Get in here!
(Soldier runs in)
MMXXXIV: Call on a car... I've got to warn my nation.

OOC:Was that OK? It's my first time trying this.

Meanwhile, in the town of Truman...

Stan Jonston: (Speaking over a bullhorn, holding an AK74 off a dead Militiaman) We have squashed the defenders of the false god, Mattman!
(Crowd cheers)
Jonston: With this force, there is nothing he can do. He will run from this land like a whipped dog!
(Crowd Cheers)
Jonston: We will march on the temple within the week, and we will show him the power of a true god!
(Jonston shoots the AK into the air.)

OoC: Do you have a map of your nation?

OOC: I am working on one.

OOC: Um, what are the Heretics' beliefs? Are they Pagan heretics? Christian heretics (as funny as that sounds)? Satanic heretics? I'm trying to decide whether Callisdrun will support them or not, but I need to know their goals.

OOC: They are Pegan Heretics.

To Whom It May Concern;
Most of our residents are peaceful supporters of the Matianity religion. Recently, the "Freedom of Religion Act" that the Parliament of The Mighty Mattman passed has spawned a large group of "Heretics", fundimentialists who believe that all non-believers must pay for their "Lack of Faith". The people of our nation are free to believe what they want, however when their means lead to violent oppression, action must be taken. These fundimentialists have taken a city in the southern end of "The Theocracy", and are poised to take the capital city of Redlan. This event is considered a "Heretic Revolution". However, our troops are grossly overmatched and overgunned. Without support from other nations, our nation will fall to the fundimentialists. So, I plea, not only for the sake of myself and my people, but for peace in the region, please send support!
