After the Cebatian-Kodikian war, The Republic of Kodik has been divided into two seperate nations. The Republic of Kodik still has control in the north, while a rogue Cebatian force controls the south. (Nano Soft controls the original capital of Kodik which is in the south too). Ever since the last days of the war, millions of Southern Kodikian refugees have been pooring into the north to escape the oppresive Rogue Cebatian Government. Now it is time to put a stop to this corrupt regime and once again unite Kodik.

OOC: I'm going to use this name for the rogue Cebatian Forces. so instead of calling them Rogue Cebatian Forces which takes too long... just call themt he Kobatian forces.

IC: The Kobatian government planed on invading north Kodik and to reunite under their terms, but those plans weren't to be executed for another couple of years. They thought that the Republic of Kodik would sit idle, Being protected by Nano Soft and all, but it appears that they were wrong.

Orders have been sent to the Kobatian armed forces to defend against the invading army using all means nessasary. And to push the fight back into the North, and end this war under our terms.

Total Army Stats-
300,000 troops (10% have law rocket launchers, 5% have sniper rifles, another 10% have m60 machine guns... all are equpied with m4s though)
25 Abram tanks

OOC: Your armor to infantry ratio is horrible..if somebody went in to help the rebels with four thousand tanks, which is possible - very easily done by someone like me (not that I will) - your infantry is screwed.

I suggest you send in a force of around 2,000 Abrams.

Across all military radios the message "The Chair is next to the door, and Ivan is standing" was heard. Troops readied their weapons waiting for the next order. Adrenaline pumping and their heart beating fast knowing that today was the day that they would reunite Kodik into the proud nation it once was.
The Next order was sounded, all troops moved across the boarder into Southern Kodik. They advanced into cities and towns. Gunfire was heard all over the place along with screams of civilians. One town in general must be taken by the Kodikian forces, the town of Newburg. This town contained the only bridge big enough for tanks to cross to Belkin river.

I don't have that many... all of my tanks were destroyed in the first war, and then government spending went towards helping the millions of refugees coming into Kodik. Sides the fact that he doesn't have much armor either so it really doesn't matter too much.

Kobatian forces were being beaten back at the boarder. But The Kobatian Armor corps and airforce were now being implemented. A army group and small tank division were moving towards the town of newburg to take control. With this town under control of the Kobatians, more tanks could head to the front lines giving us the advantage, and eventually we'd be able to cross over into the North.

A small brigade of men break free from the front line, and head for the town of newburg. The realized that because they didn't have significant numbers or armor backup that they must destroy the bridge to avoid from having the Kobatian armor from reaching the fronts.


Once they arrived at Newburg the team started to strap some C-4 to the bridge supports, during which they also found shelter and cover for if attacked. As they were halfway done with strapping the bridge, the sound of enemy tanks and soldiers was heard entering the city from the south. The Kodikians would have to hold them off until they could blow the bridge.

The armor column moves into the town of Newburg. They traveled down the main road right to the bridge. As they neared the bridge enemy gunfire was heard and felt as several infantrymen fell. The front tank points its turret at the nearest Kodikian troop placement, and fires. A massive explosion is seen and the tank moves on.

"Sir, how are we giong to stop those tanks?" asks private O'Henry.

"I know," pipes up new recruit simmons, "We'll drop a grenade into the tank and have it blow up like in the movies."

"... sure Simmons, you go ahead and run out onto the street with all those tanks and marines and drop a grenade into the lead tank."

"Quiet maggots, we'll just wait til the lead tank is over the bridge and then blow it, the C-4 is almost ready." says the Sarge.

OOC: I don't think i can stop my tanks from moving forward because i don't think my troops know about your secret blow up the bridge plans

IC: The Tanks continue to move forward unleashing their shells against the Kodikian resistance. Those with sniper rifles take positions inside multilevel buildings. And troops continue get closer to the all important bridge.

As the lead tank crosses the bridge, Sarge presses the detonator making the C-4 explode. The Bridge and everything on it are destroyed.

"Take that F*ckers" yells sarge triumphant, The northern (Kodikian) side of the bridge erupts with cheers.

The Lead tank and about 15 troops are killed instantly. As the cheers from the North are heard, the 2nd tank in the column aims its main turret and fires. Though the tanks can't cross the river now, they can still bombard teh other side. Kobatian troops start to wade across the river to enter into flanking positions on the Kodikian forces.

The 2nd tank of the column fired and blow apart sarge and his squad. Only Simmons remained. Simmons getting up from the fetal position starts to fill with anger. He pulls out a grenade, pulls the pin and throws it at the 2nd tank. (btw how many tanks are there in this town?)

The Grenade simply bounces off the 2nd tank and lands several feet behind it detonating, wounding 2 men.

Troops finally waded all the way across the river, and start to move in towards the enemy.

ic- Kodikian forces move towards the Kobatian forces to engages, they try to take side streets away from the river so that the Kobatian armor column can't hit them as hard. Simmons is a fighting machine as he leads the charge against the Kobatians to the West (Left side of map hehe) He is shot in the arm but continues to fight on. Inspired by his valor, the Kodikian soldiers fight harder against a better equiped enemy.

IC: Though the Kodikians fight harder and more fierce, more troops cross the river, and reenforcements are en route to the town of New Burg. Engineers among them so that they can rebuild the bridge, so the armor column can move towards the fronts.

how come you always get the support?

With a squealing of bagpipes and a roaring battle-cry, the Ebolanian Expeditionary force (EEF) poured over the border, bashing through rogue defenses and supported by cruise missles and airstrikes from above.

"Get those blankety-blank trucks movin'!" roared a cockney sargeant, spurring men along with curses and kicks. A flight of Ebolanian fighters tore holes in the cloudy sky, as the offensive moved on.

how come you always get the support?

OOC: oh....
OOC again: this is now a hot thread.

IC: With the addition to the fresh soldiers from Ebolania, the Kobatian forces at the front dissolve. Thousands of soldiers retreat back taking heavy losses. Many, too afraid to retreat surrender. The Major City of Grunsburg is the last Kobatian stronghold near the boarder. There the Kobatians plan to make their stand.

Newburg- The tanks at newburg leave to go to Grunsburg along with most of the infantry, the remaining infantry finished crossing the river and continue to fight the Kodikians.

The main Kodikian force moves straight across the boarder, and begins to encircle the major city of Grunsburg.


Newburg- Simmons continues to fight, finally aquiring a rocket launcher. He takes aim at the retreating tanks and fires, thinking to himself "hopefully the rocket would be powerful enough to bust through the rear armor". The second the rocket hits the tank a Kobatian sniper shoots Simmons in the chest, making him finally fall. Kodikian medics rush over to the scene and roll simmons on a stretcher, several being picked off by the sniper. With 3 medics down the remaining two finally bring the downed Simmons to safety.

newburg- the last tank is hit from the rocket launcher, The tank is immoble and severly damaged. The crew evacuates the tank and continue on their retreat. The reenforcements tha were on their way to newburg change directions and head for Grunsburg instead. That is the last stronghold before the Kobatian capital, Kobat City.

Newburg- The Kodikians at newburg steadily move back getting ready to retreat because newburg is no long an important city to maintain.

Grunsburg- The Seige continues, Grunsburg is completely encircled and is currently being starved out

Simmons update- Simmons is taken to a MASH field hospital, and its said that he is going to live. After he recovers he will be taken back to the Kodikian capital where he'll receive the medal of Honor.

OOC: This'll be my last post for awhile i have to go somewhere and probably won't be back til 9:30-10:00 eastern time

IC: The city of Grunsburg is still under seige, but the commanders there are determined to see it through. The remaining Kobatian forces take cover and fortify the capital.

OOC: I'm back! I had to go to bed. Anyway, what's a littlebird?

IC: The EEF successfully (spelled right?) linked up with the Kodikian forces, and continue to drive the retreating Kodatians back.

OOC: okay, so know what do we do?

ooc- http://www.cebatianempire.iwarp.com/photo4.html that'll tell u what the littlebird is, its usually called blackbird defender, but in blackhawk down they called it the littlebird.

next we finish the seige at Grunsburg, making them surrender then we beseige and take over the current capital... then we win because thats the last of them.

Grunsburg- Morale is at a all time low. After being seiged for some 3 months now, food and supplies are running out. Civilians are forced to eat rats and small pets. Many soldiers begin sneaking out of the city at night and surrendering to the opposing forces just for a square meal. Commanders in the city are still relatively fed though, and because of that they feel that they can hold off the seige for another 3 months, even against the soldiers and civilians pleas for surrender.

Kobat City- troops at Kobat City are giving civilians arms and sending them to the front lines against the invading forces. The reason behind this is, it keeps the Kodikians back, and it gives us less mouths too feed. The recruitment process is spreading in suburbs as most capable men in Kobat City were already sent and most likely dead now.

Grunsburg- The Kodikian army decides to have 24 hour bullhorn call outs to the population of Grunsburg. The bullhorn callouts stat that anyone who leaves the city and surrenders will receive a 3 course meal complete with steak, potatoes, fresh salad, vegetables, fresh fruit, other various meat products, beer or milk, and cheeses. These callouts will hopefully send the civilian population into rioting and have them run out, along with the newly deserted army personal. This will hopefully end the seige of Grunsburg.

Mass desertion is seen at Grunsburg, as tens of thousands flee the city in search of food. The Commanders try to rally their troops, but several mutinies (spelled right?) take place. 88% of all civilians have left grunsburg, 75% of all troops deserted. The only main stronghold left in the city is at the area around the mayors office in the dead center of grunsburg.

ooc- do u still have your helicopters or tanks under your control in grunsburg?

ic- The Kodikian armed forces feed the hungry people of grunsburg, and extra supplies are being sent it from North Kodik.

The Kodikian army starts to move into the city taking out small patches of resistance. The main force moves towards the airport to secure the littlebirds (blackbird defender 500s). The rest start to surround the area around the mayors office and are trying the bullhorn callout again.

OOC: the littlebirds pilots mostly deserted and the fact that their too afraid to fly them against Ebolanian anti-aircraft defenses. So their not operational right now. Also We control only 2 tanks in the city, both are blocking main roads into the area around the mayor's office.

IC: As Kodikian troops move down the main road towards the mayor's office, one of the kobatian's last tanks moves out from a ally in a effort to surprise the enemy force, it turns its turret and fires right into the heart of the invading force. Troops ontop of roof tops were laying low letting the Kodikians pass so they can attack from the sides, started shooting at them from their elevated positions, firing sniper rifles and laws into the Kodikian army.

The main force captured the enemy airbase, and starts to move toward the center of the city.
Meanwhile at the center of the city, Kodikian troops are getting mowed down by enemy fire. A couple of Kodikians have laws from surrendered Kobatian forces, and use them against the tanks. The rest of the Kodikians enter buildings and climb the stairs to the roof where they engage the enemy forces there.

The main general in charge of Grunsburg is killed. Apparently he and his 2nd in command got into an argument about surrender. The 2nd in command killed the general, then ran out of the mayors office holding a white flag. He gave a statement to the Kobatian armed forces "There has been enough bloodshed in this city, so i am giving the order of surrender to all Kobatian forces inside Grunsburg. All those who come with me will feast like champions at the expense of those Kodikians, whos with me?"

Massive surrender is common all throught the Grunsburg area, all but a few isolated squads. Those that have surrendered are currently waiting in the foodline at the Kodikian base.

Meanwhile at Kobat city, all male civilians age 15-50 are armed with a standard rifle and one clip of bullets. This militia is sent to counter attack the Kodikians and Grunsburg.

The armed Kobatian forces at Kobat city ransack grocery stores, and civilian homes stocking up on all the food they can find. It is said that they have enough ammo to last a couple of months, but they have enough food to last a year. The Woman and children of Kobat city have about enough supplies for about a week though... then they will starve to death.

Massive bullhorn callouts are directed towards the advancing militia. The bullhorns tell the militia to surrender or they will be crushed by the Ebolanian armor corps.

The militia hear the callouts and agree with them. They turn their rifles on the Kobatian armed forces in the ranks and massacre them. Then the militia lead by famed hunter Micheal Epson turn face and charge back into Kobat city determined to end the war once and for all.

Epson's militia charge through the streets, but a Kobatian tank blocks the road. It fires a round towards the militia. The round barely misses Epson but kills the 12 troops behind him. Other Kobatian armed forces on top of roofs or in alleys peak out and fire at the charging militia.

Epson sees 2 snipers on top of a yellow multi-level apartment building that he grew up in. He then kicks down the door, and fires a quick shot killing the Kobatian guarding the stairway. He runs up the stairs taking out a couple more Kobatians. He gets onto the roof where he sees the 2 snipers firing down into his militia. He fires his last shot at the closest sniper downing him. The then runs over to the other one and punches him in the back of the head. After a short struggle Epson finally throws the sniper off the building down into the charging milita below where he is torn to pieces. Micheal is now in possesion of a sniper rifle with several clips and a couple of grenades. He decides to jump from building to building until hes over the tank. Once there he takes the sniper rifle and shoots at personal guarding the tank. The tank hatch opens as the commander peeks out and Epson drops the grenade straight into the tank. Moments later a explosion is heard as the tank is blow apart. The Militia charges up to the tank and fights in hand to hand combat against the Kobatians because the militia is practically out of ammo.
The militia continues its charge towards the Kobatian headquarters at the center of town tearing apart all resistance in its way.

The main Kodikian force moves into Kobat city supported by its armor columns. They use their famous bullhorns to tell the militia that they are friendly Kodikian soldiers who are on the same side. As they first enter the city massive piles of dead militia are seen, but as they move closer to the heart of town they find a decreasing number of militia deaths and a increasing number of Kobatian deaths. Several Kobatian soldiers seem to be beaten to death or stabbed with what looks like glass shards or small knives. All the Kobatian soldiers were already stripped of their weapons as it appears the militia just picks up whatever weapons it finds on its ongoing charge. Several tanks are seen either destroyed or deserted. The Kodikians are now close enough to the battle where they can be of help. The Armor divisions fire their shells at Kobatian forces. And the Kodikian infantry integrates itself into the militia ranks.

Epson still in a sniper position has only two bullets left. He takes aim at the Kobatian headquarters looking for the main General. As he looks through all the windows he finds the Kobatian 2nd in command run into a room. He seems frantic as he appears to be speaking extremely fast. Epson takes aim and fires a shot. The bullet penetrates right between his eyes killing him instantly. The man he was talking to stands up and looks out the window for a brief moment, its the Kobatian general in charge of South Kodik. Epson without hesitation fires and kills the general.

Once the Kobatians find their two leaders dead, the 3rd in command decides to surrender. 3rd in command, Louis Saturn comes out with a white flag declaring the full surrender of the Kobatian armed forces. With this statment all Kobatian forces inside Kobat city lay down their weapons and comply with the Kodikian forces.

The Kodikian military takes the Kobatian armed forces into custody. Plans for the full unification of Kodik commences.

Civilians cheer and parades are being held in all major Kodikian cities. They were tired of war and are glad it is now over. Ebolanian troops are deemed heros as their help was vital to the success of this war. Each Ebolanian soldier is given the medal of honor along with Micheal Epson, and Private Simmons. The Republic of Kodik thanks Ebolanian and hopes that in times of need we'd be able to call on their support once again.

We were glad to be of service, and I needed a break from law-making. Heroes? SWEETNESS!
