I for one will not be ignoring Whittier due to the situation. Someone obtained the use of his account, and thus his situation is understandable. If someone got access to your account, and got it deleted I would treat you the same way.

I already deleted him. I've been down this road before with him. He pushes and pushes and then claims it wasn't him, well it's happened once too often, I don't believe him. Further, even if by some odd chance it was true, he should take better care of his account. No one is getting into his account unless he's letting them.

You're not going to like this, but go Uber-Capitalist. Give corporations everything they need. Make sure to cut minimum wage and allow industries to fire workers for wanting raises- each of those is worth almost +1 category. Also, raze to rain forest for uranium, etc.

Never, ever, ever pick an issue that costs funding- dismiss them if there is no pro-business or neutral-business answer.

Once you get to your desired economic level, start answering normally- it takes a heck of a recession to knock a nation out of Frightening if they've been in it and still going up for a long time.

as I recall, the original Whittier economy was beginning to fall apart no matter what I did. I started making my decisions in favor of businesses and my economy went from powerhouse to reasonable in a matter of weeks.

OOC: I try to preserve Civil Liberties, I have a soft spot for those. But Moises Munivez is a military and corporate sellout, so I'm staying in character when I mercilessly pawn my people to the corporations and torch the environment. :)

That's why I just went "oh, screw it" and decided just to wait until my nation is huge enough so that I won't need a particularly powerful economy. Right now it's reasonable, as its been for quite a while.

I'm able to easily keep my economy at Strong or Thriving, and I'm attempting to reach Powerhouse for the first time. The worst I've ever been is 4 days as Good.

And I still maintain Few/Rare Political Freedom and Very Good Civil Liberties, with PF stalled and CL on the rise. Now I'm just waiting until my Civil Liberties go high enough to make me a "Benevolent Dictatorship" and I can RP the High Military Council gaining control over the senate/house (giving them control over all 3 branches).

You want Civil Rights and answer every issue in a way that you would like if you were a billionaire industrialist.
