There has been an uprising in Caelta. At 400 AM this morning, the divisional command posts of the 3rd Infantry, and 4th Infantry, the two occupying divisions, were struck, sending the divisions into chaos. Shortly after at 415 AM, mortar and artillery rounds struck the airfields housing A-10's. Then at 430 sabetours struck the blue water port, disabling the Carrier housed there, as well as blocking the port with several large stolen Yachts. All evidence points towards actions by the Government of Cebat or unhappy elements of their army. When army units went out on their daily patrols, they were ambushed, and were attacked, several reports are coming in that at least 125 soldiers have been killed.

B-52 units have bombed the capital of Edinburgh in an effort to break the morale of the Caeltian population. At least 35,000 are dead, and hundreds of thousands more injured. There is no power or running water and Kahtan soldiers are shooting anyone that tries to leave the city. The next stage is going to be a bombardment by an Iowa Class battleship into the city.

We are teaching them a lesson. A lesson that is well earned.

Following a night of firebombings on Caelta, the violence has stopped for the moment. It appears that the government was showing simply, what it could do, and that stopped the insurgents from undermining the stability of the region. However if there is any more violence against Kahtan soldiers, we will pull them back onto the bases into a defense role, and we will leave the patrols up to helicopters and high altitude recon flights.

How does killing innocents, intentionally, mind you, classify as teaching them a lesson?

Well, it lowers their morale and will to fight. Read accounts of Germany at the end of WWII. The German citizens were telling the americans the positions of their own countrymen. in droves. They were tired of war and the bombings.

The Cebatian Empire denies all incident. Why would we want to start a war with a powerful nation when we are a weak nation that's not even allowed to have a military right now? The Cebatian Empire is fully Disarmed.

We bombed Dresden germany, and basically after the winter of 1945, we were out of targets, so we went to daylight raids on all the cities, there was no military value of those targets, it simply demoralized them.

There have been more attacks in Caelta, this time directed at the sole military base. At 0600 AM this morning several explosions rocked the Fort Dell military base, leaving 1,339 dead, and 8,952 injured. It is thought that this was an air attack because of the nature of the explosions, and the fact no artillery rounds could do this damage. Currently the military is in the process of finding those accountable, and killing them.

Now being deployed to Caeta is the First Army, Second Army, and Third Army. Each army consists of:

Following the continuation of violence, Kahta is pulling all forces back to the beaches to organize an Assault on the Entire country. This will make it easier in crushing any resistance that is faced.

The three Bradleys slowed down and approached the small collection of buildings. It was just a downtown of a farming Village. There was no one in sight. As the three squads quietly moved into position to raid the first building, a shot rung out. The Seargent was instantly killed from the gunshot. Then a burst of machine gun fire came from another direction, striking the other Seargent and 1 soldier. The unit was in chaos, as even more shots came from all around the soldiers returned fire, calling for backup...

The Bradleys pivoted around and returned fire to the insurgents. The 25mm cannons with HE ammo were devastating, instantly the Caeltian Rebels ceased their firing.

--3 Minutes later--

Six more Bradleys arrived on the scene, now the 6 squads were ready to conduct house to house searches. The first squad had a small 3 story building surrounded, and they were about to move in. The signal came, and on the three entrances, the squads moved in. Inside there was a man, cowering in fear with a shotgun, he was dragged out into the street, cuffed, and placed in a Bradley. The second room lead into the basement, and the squad went down. In the basement was the mans wife, two attractive teenage daughers, and teenage son. The soldiers grabbed the daughters and wife, stripped the daughters clothes off, leaving them in their underwear, groped them, and then cuffed them, walking them into the street. The son protested as his sisters were dragged off and was shot, as the mother started to charge, she too was shot. After the basement was searched the soldiers gave any more occupants 5 minutes to come out before the building was destroyed. No one came down stairs, and the charges were placed and lit. The remaining soldiers ran out into the street yelling "Take cover, FIRE IN THE HOLE" and then all four charges went off. Glass from the windows flew into the street, but no one was injured. THe building then collapsed. The muffled cries for help came from the rubble, but it was ignored.

The soldiers then moved out into the street, and with a bullhorn announced "In five minutes, this small town will be leveled by napalm. If you do not come out you will burn to death as all water from your body is evaporated." The message was repeated several times, and by the fifth time several families had come into the street. The men and children were cuffed, and then their wives and daughters were stripped to their underwear, and groped, and raped by the soldiers. Any man that made a noise was put in a pile. After the pile was made, gasoline was poured on it and lit.

The squad packed into the APC's with their prisoners, 14 women, 28 children, and 15 teens. Just as the APC's moved out the roar of the A-10's could be heard.

Kahta´s way to deal with its problems are nobody´s business.

Kahta is an important trade partner and friend of Grunge-France. We will defend its sovereignty with Grunge-French blood if needed. We recommend precautions to the governments interested in trying to bring their version of "justice" to Kahta.
An intervention in Kahta will be regarded as a direct confrontation with The Humanist Republic of Grunge-France.

The re-invasion of Caelta has continued. The same process has been repeated, with over 122,000 men killed, and at least 145,000 women, teens, and children captured as prisoners. It is probobale that the actual numbers are triple those listed above, but are being kept quiet by commanding officers.

As the tanks rolled to the outskirts of New Elgin, darkness was setting in. The First Army had encirlced the city and begun firing atrillery into it. From the sea was the Iowa Class Battleship, NS Kahta.

"Sir, we have a command to begin firing our 16 Inch guns into New Elgin. The order comes from the ground forces commander."

The capitan, who was dozing, on the deck, awoke. He grabbed his hat and made the order over the ship's radio:
"Attention all sailors, prepare for firing of the 16 Inch guns. We will be firing for 8 hours straight."

Just then the ships three turrets turned towards the city, and the guns were loaded. When it was clear that it was safe the fire, the guns fired. The ship was pushed to the side by 20 feet.

Inside the city, the nine shells struck buildings, and the buildings literally were vaporized, the craters were 60 feet wide and 10 feet deep. It would be a long night.

Outside the city, 550 MLRS launchers, and 1,000 155mm self propelled howitzers fired at once. The entire sky lit up as if there was a gigantic bolt of lightning. This too, would continue for 8 hours.

--The next morning--

The night had brought death and destruction. Over 175,000 were dead, at least 450,000 wounded. The city was described as being like Berlin at the end of WWII. There were civillains everywhere cleaning up. They did not know what was going on, but they were about to be captured or killed. There was however, and armed milita that was prepared to fight. 145,000 men and women had armed themselves to fight the enemy.

The units all around the city were conducting door to door searches, and systematically killing any armed man after stripping, groping, and raping the mens wives and daughters. This was how things were being done, as ordered by General Zhukov, the Kahtan General in charge of the operation.

As the units moved closer and closer to the cities, there were more and more confrontations, but not one Kahtan soldier was killed yet. But that was about to change.

The 25 Bradleys unloaded, and out came the 400 soldiers. There was a large apartment building and the soldiers were storming the building, emptying all the rooms and bringing everyone to the roof where they would engage in standard procedure, then throw the men and anyone that resisted off the 10 floor building.

The squad was almost to the top, with their prisoners, when they heard a sound, like a gunshot, and then the building shook, shooting up into the air 15 feet. The building then slammed down, collapsing on itself, the entire structure, then fell down on the waiting tanks and APC's. The 400 soldiers inside all died instantly, as did the 1,200 civillians. The crews of the 25 tanks survived for the most part, unless hatches were open. The result of the explosion: someone filling the basement with natural gas from the furnace, then lighting a match.

Here is the transcript of a speech given by President MacDonald today.

"The uprising has been put down. The three armies have finished and are now taking sporadic reistance from a few groups, but those are being exterminated as we speak. We once again are victorious."

The crowd of 140,000 went wild, cheering and waving their Kahtan flags.

"We are the greatest country on the face of the earth! We will bring whatever you need to this country. The Caeltians have been annexed, so now, their land is our land."

The crowd roared once again, this time, a lone gunman was going to use the roar of the crowd to hide the gunshot. He was looking right down the scope, at the imperialist aggressor, that was going to enslave, rape, and kill his people. He took in a breath and slowly exhaled, slowly squeezing the cold metal trigger as he did so. Then a noise distracted him. As he turned his head, the gun shifted half an inch to the left. The trigger was squeezed, and the 12.7mm bullet cut the distance of 800 meters in less than a second, and the bullet struck the wooden platform next to the president.

Splinters flew everywhere, and the president ducked into the podium. Presidential Protection agents surrounded him. They walked him off the stage, keeping his head down, as another bullet came flying in at almost 2,400 feet per second. This time, it struck a PP agent, in the arm and his arm was instantly severed from his body...

The PP counter terror teams located the sniper and shot back at him, killing the sniper, he was indentified as a Caeltian Rebel. His body was sent back to Caelta.

The President was sitting in his Expedition, it was driving at a high rate of speed, to get back to the Capital Building. Maybe it would be right to cancel the enslavement of Caeltians, I think thats what I'm going to do. And to heal the Caeltian people, I will give them back their national rulers, who will be under my command. That way, Caelta will be governed by their own people, but still under my contol. He wrote his plan down, and it would soon be enacted. However, he was unaware of the actions of General Zhukov. (OOC: Remember, Zhukov authorized the rape, killing, etc. The president has no Idea whats going on in Caelta.)

As per the nature of ITD's alliance with the nation of Kahta, we cannot ignore the growing threat of open war with the nation of Sevaris. Our forces have been placed on high alert, and our transport ships have been ordered to our ports. We will not ignore these open threats to our ally. Caelta rightfully belongs to Kahta, and this claim will not go unrecognized amoung those nations who would have Kahta surrender its property.

I have established trade, through alliances, with Kahta, but I will NOT see my trade partner be pushed around by some bully.

Caelta has long been a puppet of Kahta, it only seems right that they should become full members of his society.

They complain bitterly about Kahta taking control over a country, and providing it with a stable government and protection from outside threats on the one hand, whilst on the other, advocating their ally taking control instead. To the people of Caelta, what is the difference between Kahtan rule and Canadian rule? Very little. These Sevarisian fools should keep their noses out, and think both about what they are going to say, as well as its possible implications"
