Long Lost Family

Euroslavia

Background Information: The six districts; red, blue, green, silver, yellow, and purple refer to the districts of Euroslavia. Wherever you were born, you are considered that color. For example, if I was born in the blue district, but live in the green district, I am still considered a member of the blue district. Now you ask, how do I keep track of who is born where? We have our ways....

Inside the Throne Room

Shogun Wen was sitting in his throne, thinking of all the things he needed to do…. He needed to improve relations with a few nations, he was also still wondering how he could get into contact with a choice nation, but just then, two of the highest ranking generals in the army entered the throne room, with two strange looking women.

“Sire, I apologize for disturbing you, but we have a matter to discuss with you.” proclaimed General Ryu-kan.

“Go on…” Wen replied.

“These two women…have done exceedingly well in our training camps for future Gigas. Emotionally, they’ve remained unaffected by the rigorous activities. They have consistently beaten every male, and they continue to do better than before. I believe that we should put them in a higher ranking than just a normal Giga, sire.”

“What are their names?”

“Their names are Sinistra and Destra, sire.”

The Shogun stopped.

These names sound so familiar. Where did these women come from? Why did they come here to join my army?

.
wait a minute… I think I remember now…Sinistra and Destra….they come from the Silver Temple. They are two of the few Silvites remaining in our nation. The rest are foreigners, or people from the other territories, mostly Yellow and Green. Silvites are reknown for their strength, and will power because they’ve gone through so much in the past.

“Sinistra… are their any other Silvites remaining in the Silver district?”

At first, Sinistra was shocked that he knew, but the Shogun himself wasn’t one to be underestimated. He was also a Silvite, but he, himself doesn’t know of it. He was told that he was born in the Red district (not THAT red district, mind you), and nothing further was questioned.

“Sire, you should know. There are still a few remaining Silvites out there. About a dozen of them. But be warned, they are sly, and distrustful. In my opinion, there are only 2, or 3 at the most that can be trusted.”

“What do you mean, I should know?” questioned the Shogun.

“Well…you must know of your own origin….unless….” as Sinistra paused for a second, Destra took up the conversation.

“You’re a Silvite yourself, didn’t you know that?” finished Destra.

That’s impossible! How could I be a Silvite? I don’t believe it……

but why would they both say something like that? Should I believe them?

“Don’t you know? Your parents abandoned you because at the time, the Silver District was under a full scale invasion by the Goldanians. They wanted to wipe out the entire Silvite Civilization. Your parents sent you away to the Red District to be safe, along with your brother and sister. After the invasion, your parents came back for you, and looked for you, but they eventually lost hope, and figured you had become a member of a new family….one that would take care of you better than they could. They returned to the devastated Silver District, and continued on, knowing that one day, they would meet you. That is when they gave birth to us.” revealed Destra.

“This is all too much for me to take in….so wait, you two are my sisters? You came to join my army, just so you would have the chance to talk to me? How are our parents? Are they still alive? Where are my brother and sister? Are they still alive?”

There was so much I needed to know, so much I needed to catch up on. My family may still be out there somewhere, looking for me. I need to see them again. They are what kept me going…

“All in due time brother,” replied Sinistra, “You’ll see.”

They both walked away, out of the Throne Room, leaving the Shogun, and the two generals in shock. Little did he know that there was so much more that would be revealed to him in the next few days…
Euroslavia

News spread all across Euroslavia about the two women that overpowered the men of the army. Everyone talked about, and spread rumors that were far from the truth. Some said that they were sent from the heavens to save Euroslavia from a possible danger in the future. Others say they are mythical beasts who decided to stay in this nation, and protect it. (All of a similar nature). Even some women went as far as to say that they were sent to Euroslavia to prove to men that women are more important. Nevertheless, they were on the television of every Euroslavian citizen.

That same night, the Shogun lay awake, thinking about everything that they had said. He couldn't sleep after hearing it all.

So I am a Silvite. What exactly does this mean? Where are my parents?

With all of his thoughts jumbled, he couldn't concentrate, but suddenly, everything cleared up in his head for one second, and he decided to hold a census, to figure out where his parents, his brother, and his sister were. Shogun Wen had heard rumors that his sister was in the purple district, but these rumors proved false.

Finally, he fell asleep having planned out what his next day would be like. He awoke the next morning, bright and early at 9am. After taking 5 minutes to fully wake up, he walked out of his room, only to find Sinistra and Destra standing at his doorstep.

“We have a request of you brother.”
“Yes, what is it?”
“We want to ask you to make us foreign ambassadors… we want to be able to forge alliances with those close to us, and to intimidate any nation who would dare oppose us. Please let us help you, we don’t want to be part of the army, where each single soldier is barely recognized. We want to be known among Euroslavia for our diplomatic skills.”

“Well…word has it that you two are already known throughout the nation, but alright, you can help me by visiting foreign nations and negotiating whatever there is to negotiate. But remember, you must only take the position that I would, and as the country would. If you go against our beliefs, I’m afraid that, even you two, must suffer the reprecussions of going against the Empire.”
“Thank you brother, you won’t forget it.”

They both ran away before the Shogun could gather his thoughts together.

I’ll have to call them back later to figure out a few things…
