Crossmanian Catholic Church elects new Pope

The newly formed Crossmanian Catholic Church has announced that it has elected Archbishop Patrick Anderson as Pope Patrick I, the CCC's first Pope. Anderson, former head of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Crossman is also the founder of the Crossmanian Catholic Church, which came to be recently after a dispute between Anderson and Cherry Ridge's Cardinal DeVito.
His Holiness will begin a tour of CCC parishes across the United Imperium of Crossman and throughout the region of Crossman Prime later this week.

On behalf of all of the Catholics of Agrigento, I would like to wish the new head of the Crossman Catholic Church goodluck. While we frown upon the use of the title Pope, as Archbishop seems to be the proper nomenclature, we respect your right to call him whatever you wish. Hopefully other Catholic nations will soon realize that your pope does not stand to threaten the primate of catholicism.
