In a shock move today, King Dan I of Strensall, acting delegate of the 'United Lands of the Free' annouced to journalists of the region's media that we are once again to allow immigration:
"Now that the war is over, it is safe to allow people to come into our region. We need them to help us grow and once again reach the level of nations we used to have. Back when we had 40 nations, things were good. There was a sense of loyalty, and there was more democracy. I hope that the new immigrants will bring new ideas to our region..."
The King babbled on for a further 20 minutes as the journalists slowly filed out of the room, disinterested.

Any applicants for immigration should move to the 'United Lands of the Free' region, and announce their presence on the regional board. Also encouraged is participance on the regional forum, held off site.
