Revolution in Hutu

Hutu
22-07-2004, 08:49
With the passing of the great leaders of the past and the following of a dynastic Stalinist like rule under the Tatarin family for a neer 90 years, Hutu faced many different "Socialist" leaders with empty promisses and a handfull more that claimed to be "Reformists" and "Non-Violent" and even "Republican". Through the years Hutu has had its strong moments, its ups and its downs and even the Great April Revolution that first put the Socailists into power. Now with the massive country facing a great depression and almost 70% of the country living in complete poverty and 25% living in partial poverty having a regular food source, the citizens start to become unruly.

In Sobakagrad in the massive kremlin palace the top tier of Hutuian society, the capitalists that have taken over and exploited the country for the past 3 years horde food and plot their escape from the dying country. However, in the streets many of the soldiers of the massive People's Armies plot how to seize control of the country and restore it to former glory.

Deep within the massive bunkers used for storage and housing of military units and vehicles through the years a small band of men debate their options much as Comrade Roach did almost 200 years ago before the April Revolution. Three men are at the helm of this revolution for control of the massive nation in the Russian North-West. The men are: Ivan Tzvelk; he is the brawn of the operation a man that has studied military tactics all his life and was a carrear soldier till the depression, Yakoff Yakutz; He is brains for the group, he writes all the speaches, does all the technical work and crunches all the numbers, and finally Mikhial Kolyenyakh; He is the helms-man, he is the one striving to break free his is the charisma that galvanises the sympathy for the cause.

As the three stand around a table in a dimly lit room they study maps of the city and plot writing up different plans and going over them for any failures that may arise. Finally they settle on a small foresight in the plans and step out of the room they are in which is quite populated. The three go into a small room with only one door and shut it firmly. Yakoff flicks on the lights and the rather well furnished room is revealed. Ivan stands guard infront of the door and Yakoff picks up a camera as Mikhial sits behind a desk.

Yakoff begins filming after setting up proper feeds to the satelites and making sure none of the Hutuian satelites are overhead to grab the signal and gives Mikhial the thumbs up. Mikhial sits up tall in his leather chair and looks into the camera, "Comrades of the world" he starts with a heavy Russian accent, "I am Mikhial Kolyenyakh, but that of this moment is not imperitive to know. My home land, Hutu, as you all may know is in a depression and the leaders of this land are letting it rot. I call to you all to send any aide you can. We wish to reclaim this land and save it, and we wish for you to help us. We have but small numbers and even smaller numbers of weapons. The only vehicles we have are what we salvage from this tunnel like rats. Comrades, we ask of you, for the hundreds of millions of starvin Hutuian women and children, help us in our strive for freedom."

The feed cuts and the men go out of the room and deeper into the bunker to their sleeping quarters for the night as the men in the Kremlin sleep with stomachs full and many citizens across the land starve.

The next morning the men awake and take to the streets in usual fashion to notice the streets filled with heavly armed soldiers on patrol. Apparently either someone in the bunker had tipped the Hutuian government off or a satelite picked up the transmission. Ivan and Mikhial go back into the bunker as they would be the most recognizable for any such action, and Yakoff remains above ground scouting out troop movements.

Within the bunker Mikhial goes over their numbers and equipment and debates what he could possibly do with the funding he has recieved. "Ivan" Mikhial starts, "We have 4,000 men from across all of Hutu that are ready to die for this cause. You and I both know, that is by far not enough, more so now that the soldiers are patroling the streets. Not to mention the fact that we only have a few hundred rifles, a couple rusted tanks and a handful of technical vehicles. There's a man in the city of Ordo in the Shimdah provence, his name is Nikolai Muqmarekh. He is a great orginizer of the cause in that area, the area is next to lawless, and filled with seaports. Call this man, wire him the money and have he see what he can do."

Ivan looks at Mikhial puzzled for a moment that he's going to trust that much money to a man from Shimdah, but then nods and walks off into another room to make the call. After about 15 minutes Ivan returns and takes a seat at a small table in the corner. "So Mikhial, now what?"

"There is only one thing we can do, wait. I have many of our men sneaking out of the city as we speak, they are going to the smaller villiages to spread the word. Our fate is in those men, Yakoff, and Nikolai. We Ivan, we are just pawns in our own game right now."

Mikhial laughs at his closing statement and stands up and walks into the Video Feed room leaving Ivan sitting in the corner a bit worried at the lack of seriousness for the cause Mikhial seemed to have. Mikhial enters the room and pops in the recorded tape of the message he made the night before and plays it out again. After playing the tape, he hides it back on a shelf behind some books and leaves the room.

Ordo, Shimdah Provence, Hutu

Nikolai Muqmarekh sits in his meager home in the same situation as many Hutuians, neer starving and trying to find a way to change things in his home land. He has recieved the phone call and money from Mikhial Kolyenyakh, and has sence made a few phone calls to some outside "Business-Men". Nikolai paces around his home for a moment plotting what to do with the rest of the money as he hasn't even scratched the surface on spending it. For a moment he plots fleeing the country now but knows no sane leader would harbor him due to his past in Terrorism. He peers out a window and sees the filth in the streets and a small group of people huddled starving and cold in a corner.

He then steps back from the window and picks up his phone and makes a call to some of his men that have managed to stay faithful to him through this all. The phone rings and a man picks up on the other end, "Hello?" the man says.

"Vasili, its Nikolai, we're coming up on something big here, make sure the men stay fed and ready, I'm not sure when we will be called on, but I know they will need their strenght when the time comes."

Vasili seems awe struck to hear the words coming through the phone a moment then replies with a 'Yessir' and both parties hang up the phone. Nikolai then picks the phone up again and calls Mikhial to inform him of the purchases from off-shore for Assualt Rifles, Ammunition and Food.

Sobakagrad, Sobaka Provence, Hutu

Yakoff strolls through the streets of Sobakagrad noticing much the same death and starvation as Nikolai did in Ordo, only on a much larger scale in the capitol city. Occasionally he ducks into an alley way and pulls out a small notepad taking note of troop placements and tunnel exits. He slowly goes through the city maping it out with emphasis on the tunnel network and key goverment buildings and soldier patrols.

After a few hours of reconing the city Yakoff ducks back down underground and goes into the small map room and relays his information onto a larger map rolled out flat on a table. He then goes into a vaulted room and inventories the weapons and ammunition with great regret. Afterwards he goes and meets with Mikhial.

"Any good news Yakoff?" Mikhial asks seeing him.

"Well, sometimes you have a sick sense of good, but I don't believe having 250 Assualt Rifles with an average of 75 bullets per rifle is good news."

"Mmhmm... well no, thats not any good. Word from Nikolai is we have a shipment of 3,500 Rifles, 5,000 Assualt Rifles, plenty of ammuntion and food coming in. And he got it all for cheep from his 'suppliers', but thats bad news too, because i'm not sure how we can sneak them into Sobakagrad, we may have to move our operation to a less patroled area, but attacking the city from the outside is going to be harder than with in. Thats your job Yakoff, getting those weapons and food in this city with out being seen, but now I need to send out another message to the word."

Mikhial stands up, walks past Yakoff and steps into the small video feed room and flips on the camera as he walks by sitting down at the desk.

"Comrades of the word, I call upon you again, Any nation that helps our movement will be given a plot of land in Sobakagrad to build an embassy, a plot of land in the Shimdah provence to build a Military Naval Base, and we will provide collateral for any weaponry, soldiers, or vehicles lost in the battle, once our economy is running again. We need your help comrades, all we ask of at this moment is Food, and a Naval Blockaide, and if at all possible a few of your soldiers that can help train our partisans, please comrades, think about it, and think about the starving people of Hutu that you would be saving."

The feed cuts and Mikhial leaves the room and walks around the complexe of tunnels hoping the message gets through somewhere.

Hey, long time no see...

Prime Minister Andropov sat in his office in the center of the ancient city of Haton. He watched the video feed from Hutu. As he watched, his mind went back to when Hattia's beloved Prime Minister Alexandrov defended Hutu from Derscon, Presgrief and Padmasa. His mind then went to the grave of their old leader, Mr. Roach, in the Heroes of Socialism cemetary. After the video ended, he swiveled around in his chair and pressed a button on the desk. "Intelligence, please track that video feed and tell me where it is coming from exactly, I want to send a reply."

2 minutes later

"Prime Minister, we've pinpointed the location, you can send your reply now." Andropov replied, "Thanks, and make sure this is encrypted."

Message to Hutuian rebels

I bring greetings from the People of Hattia. I have heard of your plight and wish to help. We are unfortunately unable to conduct a naval blockade, as our navy has previous obligations. We will however, do our best to help train and equip your men. A messenger will be at the Hattian embassy in Sobakagrad, tommarrow at 5:33 P.M. Go into the embassy and tell the attendant the word *Evendal. He will tell you the rest...

Good luck

((Yea, it has been awhile, i've been playing alot of BFV online and forgot all about this.))

Mikhial recieves the message nodding with a slight grin and hands the message to Yakoff. "Take care of this would you? And send a letter of thanks back to the prime minister. Also, that shipment of weaponry is going to show up in." He pauses to check his watch, "7 Hours, its a 4 hour drive to Ordo. Make sure Ivan leaves soon or he'll never make it through the check points to get there on time, if that shipment lies on the docks for more than 30 minutes it will get searched."

Yakoff nods and Mikhial stands and leaves for his quarters. Yakoff then begins writting a message back.

Message to Prime Minister Andropov

Comrade,

We had a feeling do to the past between our nations you would be the first to contact us and we thank you for your help. Any help is good help and i'm sure we can do with out the blockaide, but Mikhial believes it is nessicary and you can never be to safe. I think with small aide from your nation we can handle this, but it is nice to know someone is watching, just in case.

-Yakoff Yakutz

End Message

Yakoff then contacts Ivan and makes sure he is leaving for Ordo ASAP, then goes back into the city to moniter the Embassy and wait for the 'messanger' to arrive.

The unarmed Mi-8 flew low over the capital, it had Hattian flags emblazoned on the sides and arrived at the embassy with great fanfare. As it set down on the helipad, the Hattian national anthem played in the background. A man in a tuxedo climbed out, a high level diplomat from the mainland and following him were 6 soldiers. They had no unit tags on their shoulders, unusual for Hattian soldiers. Workers from the embassy climbed onto the helicopter and carried out a few large unmarked boxes and quickly shuttled them inside. After greeting the Ambassador, the diplomat and the soldiers made their way inside.

Sea Port - Ordo, Shimdah Provence, Hutu

Ivan and his team of 24 Partisans arrive in their convoy of 4 Five Ton Trucks and 2 Humvees just as the ship carrying their cargo arrives in port. Ivan jumps out of the passanger seat of the lead Humvee and two clearly armed soldiers jump out of the back of it. The two men wear heavy body armor with several fill ammo pounches on it, they carry their AK-47SU's at sling arms in the open, and both carry two .357 Desert Eagle pistols at their side.

The rest of the men, with the exception of the 5 drivers of the other vehicles jump out and set up a permiter carrying only a small pistol and a concealed modified AK-47 each. The drivers all sit in their vehicles prepared to leave in an instant if things get out of hand.

Ivan and his guards stroll to the docked vessel meeting up with Nikolai along the way.

"Ah, you must be one of Mikhial's men?" Nikolai says.

Ivan grins a bit and nods, "How could you tell?" He asks sarcasticly.

"Just the copious and unessicary display of power, but we have business at hand here, and you must move quickly."

"Thats the understatement of the day my friend. You have men here to help?" Ivan asks radioing for the rest of his men to come back to help with the cargo. Nikolai nods in responce and the men move towards the ship, some men already coming off with carts full of large green crates.

The men all shuttle the cart loads to the trucks and stack them in the back of each truck. Within about an hour all the weapons and ammo are loaded into the trucks and two trailers full of food are attached to the back of the Humvees.

"Ivan, I have a little something extra for you." Nikolai says as Ivan prepares to leave.

"Yes? What is it, and make this quick."

Nikolai points to a ramp that slid from an opening in the front of the ship and 5 Re-Built BRDM-2 Recon cars drive up to the convoy. "My connections sent these when they heard what was going on. The armor is heavier, the engine is stronger in each of these. 2 of them have TOW launchers, 1 Is bare and the other 2 are mounted with 2 .50 Caliber machine guns and a 40mm cannon. Have fun." Nikolai laughs and then jumps in his car and drives off.

10 of the men jump in the 5 BRDM's 2 in each to have the guns maned just incase and the convoy heads back to Sobakagrad as quickly as possible.

Sobakagrad, Sobaka Provence, Hutu

Yakoff sees the Mi-8 land and laughs to himself about how primitive that seems to him even though he is just a meager revolutionary. Yakoff climbs off the building he is on and enters the embassy after making sure no soldiers are coming to investigate why such an offical is coming unannounced. Yakoff enters the lobby and stands in a corner of the building waiting to catch sight of the diplomat then approaches him once he is spotted.

The diplomat, whose name was Boris Haton Yevgenyavich Dasprodonov strode down the stairs, flanked by 2 of the soldiers. He glanced around and saw Yakoff in the corner. Yakoff approached him and said, "Evendal." Boris nodded and motioned for Yakoff to follow him. Boris lead the group to a side room and then the wall on the western side of the room. He then set his right hand against the wall and made a series of complicated motions on the wall, which slid over, revealing a stairway.

They went down and ended up in a large room. It was filled with computers and several men monitoring the machines. It was a branch of the Hattian Foreign Intelligence Agency, and very few people had the opportunity to see these kind of places. The men glanced up and then went back to their work. Boris turned towards Yakoff, "Comrade, I'm glad to see you, I believe I have some stuff that might interest you." He walked over to the boxes that were transported off of the helicopter and pryed the tops off. He then picked up a rifle from the box.

"This..." he said with a look of admiration on his face, "is the HAR-4IBW. The kind of rifle we issue to our elite troops. It has a battery good for about 50 shots, a thermal scope. And these do not fire bullets, IBW stands for Ionized Beam weapon. Just shoot this at a vehicle, and it'll short out targeting systems, sensors, etc. We have 50 for you here, and more on the way, unfortunately, they are difficult to make and we would not like for these to fall into the hands of the enemy." He also withdrew a large bag of money and set it on the table. "15 million in US dollars. And if acceptable, Lt. Darskov here." He said, pointing to one of the soldiers, "And his men would like to help train your comrades in the art of warfare."

Yakoff looks around the room as he enters quite amazed that this kind of an area lies in Hutu with out his knowledge as he has most of the city bugged and monitered. When the rifle is present infront of him, he studies it for a moment with an approving nod and a grin.

"Very nice weapon you have there, though I'm sure our men will favor their weapons. We thank you for all you offer us and the Luitenant may come with us. However, at this time our force only has about 1,200 men, most of which are spread across the vast country side, most hiding in the far north. All these men are part of the highly trained Spez Naz Black Company that guarded the Premier for years, yet day by day we recruit more ex-soldiers and sympathetic citizens, so i'm sure Comrade Darskov will have a job soon."

He spoke in a heavily accented voice. "Yes, I have seen the conditions the poor must endure here, it is terrible. Me and my men will not allow you or the leaders of the revolution to be harmed. We will guard the revolution with our lives."

The port, as usual was extremely busy. Even if it wasn't, no one would've ever seen the attack subs, Sickle of the Proletariat, Midnight, Thief, Assassin and their wolfpacks slipping silently slipping out of the port on their way to Hutu.

Sobakagrad

Meanwhile, In the capital, late at night, a squadron of tranport helicopters sat down at the Hattian embassy and unloaded their cargoes. They then flew off into the night. The plan was to keep this up as long as possible. That one sqaudron had dropped off thousands of rounds of ammo, and more weapons.

Darshkov tapped Yakoff on the shoulder, "Comrade Dasprodonov said that in a week or so, they will have enough ammo and weapons in the embassy to supply at least a 1000 men, so we should go and check back then."

While Yakoff and Ivan were out of the bunker, Mikhial made calls around the nation on his secure line to other key factors in the revolution

An Abandonded Naval Base - Vladivostok, Hutu

A small band of partisans scavange through the wreckage looking for small patrol vessels and the smaller submarines the Spez Naz used for scouting before amphibious invasions. They also clean up a dry dock on the back of the base incase the Hattian submarines should have to come in for anything.

Kamchatka, Kamchatka Provence, Hutu

A meeting of the largest group of partisans, 240 men strong is held in the frozen northern woods of the country. After the meeting the men are sent out to recruit more for the cause and collect any money or weapons available.

Sobakagrad, Sobaka Provence, Hutu

Yakoff and Lt Darshkov arrive in the tunnel and enter the room with Mikhial, Yakoff introduces the two and informs Mikhial of what he has been told. Yakoff then shows Darshkov around the bunker and all the maps of the bunker, country, and major cities and informs him of many of the major statistics on their operation. Presenting him with a list of major cities and statistics.

Major Cities(Population): Sobakagrad; 12 Million

Darshkov rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "I believe, that we should attempt to take a port first. You guys have woefully few tanks and this revolution will never succeed without them. If we capture a port, my countrymen can bring in tanks over the ocean. I'm guessing any city with a port will have an airfield also."

Ever since the base closed all the businessed left the area." Yakoff hands him a map of the city and a larger map of the naval base which is riddled with about 16 aircraft carriers which are highlighted on the map and stored in uncovered dry docks. "I believe these aircraft carriers will be more suitable to land. Or possibly you could land a team of engineers in first to acess the air strip, as I believe it may be damaged from lying fallow for so many years. This would be the perfect area, low traffic, the small populace that is in the area is about 20 miles from the base, the barracks still stand the base can house about 900,000 soldiers."

OOC: Well that sucks, I hope someone else jumps in here aswell.

Yakoff scratches his head, "Well, what you see is what you get. Anyone you saw on the streets is about the extent, they seem to not care about anyone but themselves so all the forces are here. By my estimates They have a patrol force of roufly 2,500 men covering the city, but they're spread thin and their resolve is weak. I'm sure the rest of the remaining Red Guard is within the Kremlin, i've counted about 5 patrols of 6 heavly armed men along the top of the wall. By my guess they have another 500 men just as heavily armed inside. Though I don't doubt they have many more men hidden in these tunnels just as we are, but I would guess they are the tank corps, if there are any tanks in this city, they're in these tunnels and waiting for someone to attack the kremlin first."

OOC: For anyone else, furture reference or current, here's a map i finally made tonite. I left off alot of the minor cities, i'll add them in later.

Mikhial sits at a table in the main room of their command area leaning back in his chair. Ivan stands neer a door in the corner leaning against the wall, and Yakoff is seated at a smaller table going through some papers. "Its all going very well.... I like this so far." Mikhial says, "We've distributed all the food we can spare, we have enough weapons for 10 times as many men as we currently have, and no one suspects a thing."

Yakoff looks up from his table nodding a bit, "Yes, but I fear once we start taking action some other country with the mind set of our opressors might just step in."

"And we will be ready for when they do Yakoff, this is our country, not theirs, the world will keep those people from acting." Mikhial says reassuring Yakoff of the cause in the long run. "Nothing to fret over Yakoff, and I believe the time is coming neer, the people of Hutu are tired of starving. Yakoff send some of your assistants to the city, spread the word, the true Hutuian Socialist Party is back. Have them put up billboards, flyers, and whatever they can get."

"B-but what if the government sees these?" Yakoff stammers suprised at the choice by Mikhial.

"Oh, well thats what i'm counting on my dear Yakoff. The foolish guards in the streets are weak anyway, you know that. They won't report it to the foolish leaders of this city. But if they do, that meens more troops in the streets, which meens more oppression. And with more oppression, more people become sympathic to our cause. Trust me Yakoff, it will work out for us and the people."

Yakoff nods and goes off to tell some of the men he is over of their job. About 50 men leave the tunnels and put up flyers and billboards and spraypaint the HSP logo on walls and do whatever they can to spread the message then when the task is done, they return to the tunnels and wait for a responce.

Roughly two days after the message is spread the Partisan numbers have greatly increased from a few thousand to neerly 45,000 all across the country, with the largest numbers in Sobakagrad. The Partisans now have the Naval Base in Vladivostok up and running and are using personall submarines and smaller patrol vessels to patrol the coasts of Hutu. The revolutionaries have also been recieveing more shipments into Ordo over the past two days, they now have enough weapons to arm all their forces and they have smuggled in explosives, rocket launchers, and many other heavy arms.

Sobakagrad is now being patroled by twice as many soldiers yet their moral is even lower than before. They have been sent to arrest many alleged partisans but have arrested many innocent civilians and because of this have come under attack from local citizens and even Partisans have lead orginized attacks on the patrols on a regular basis.

"Ivan" Mikhial says standing atop a building looking towards the Kremlin.

"Yes?" Ivan says walking towards the edge of the building neer Mikhial.

"That is our goal, we're re-claiming that palace tomorrow night. Make sure all the men are here, Darshkov will give the untrained a quick run down of basic tactics and weapon handling. Make sure our vehicles are in good order, this has to be quick, any hesitation will result in failure i'm sure."

Ivan nods and turns, going down the stairs off the building to make the appropriate calls to get the partisans all in sobakagrad for the revolution.

"Everything is set Mikhial, shall we move now?" Ivan says with Yakoff watching the two a bit worried.

"Yes, we move now" Mikhial says standing picking up his AK-47, loading it and slinging it over his shoulder. "I grow tired of waiting and watching this country die." Mikhial slides to pistols into the holsters at his sides, and slides on a bullet proof vest. "Get the men armed, and open the flood gates, we will rain hell down upon the enemy." he picks up a beret similar to the one Comrade Roach wore in the first revolution and puts in on. "Move the men into the audotorium, I will talk to them, then we move."

Ivan nods already armed and walks out of the room, Yakoff stumbles around knowing there's no going back now and picks up a helmet and body armor putting them on. He also grabs a radio and a map stuffing them into his pockets. He reluctantly picks up a pistol and an Uzi holstering them both at his side and follows Ivan and Mikhial down the hall.

The three step into the large bunker packed with neerly 45,000 men, Ivan silences the room and Mikhial steps up on the stage behind a podium. Yakoff and Ivan take a seat behind Mikhial on the stage as a 4 men dressed in full black and heavily armed stand infront of the stage prepared to catch any bullets for Mikhial for the revolution's cause

"Comrades, it is great to see such support for your homeland." Mikhial starts off, "Soon, this will be our land once again, poverty and hunger will no longer be an issue, your jobs will be restored, Hutu will be a power in the world again, but it will cost us many lives." Mikhial pauses for a moment then continues, "But comrades, do not fear death, for in this action you will be lions, and it is better to live one day as a lion, than 100 days as a sheep. Though you die comrades, your spirit will live forever in Hutu." As Mikhial looks around the room no one seems to be concerned at the thought of death, and all seem ready for it. "Now comrades, enough talk, for it is cheep and the tool of capitalist, we fight for Hutu, and for our freedom, let us take the fight to the enemy!"

With that a general shout of joy echos through the crowd as they all stand up and file out the various doors and up ladders into alley ways. The first gun shots begin to echo from the dark on the South side of the city as the patrols are encountered and removed from the streets. The partisans take all the weapons they can carry from the patrols and move quickly through the south side of the city. As they get closer and closer to the Kremlin they encounter more guardsmen but the ones they encounter are shaken from hearing gun fire and quickly surrender.

OOC: Ok because i'm tired of RPing this by myself i'm just going to end it like this.

Man of the partisans were killed... blah blah.... they captured the kremlin, and the 12 men that were leading the country into poverty. Mikhial is leading the country as the new Socialist Premier, Ivan is Commissar of The Peoples Defense, Yakoff is Commissar of Intelligence, Nikolai is Commissar of Trade.
