Since most nations seem to be concerned with predominantly military matters, Designwerks has not seen any real avenues of approach to increase its international market share. Before we decide what course of action to take, we would like to know what specific theaters of defense and targets these devices will be utilized. Since Schultaria Prime has never made a piece of land or naval based military technology in its one hundred forty year history, we want to make sure that our researchers develop the right system for your nation; this being said, we hope that you can bear with us as we attempt to design such a system along existing Schultarian civilian technology.

Well What I am looking for are fixed position defensive weapons. And I would like I had systems for everything you listed ie the fixed wing etc.

For anti Ballistic Missile (ICBM) defense, Designwerks already provides a system in our storefront. Known as the Kamor-IBBEM, this orbital anti offensive satellite / missile platform provides a reasonable amount of protection (with a percentage low enough to prevent a potential godmod call) for a reasonable price compared to other ABM systems.

As for your requirements in fixed position defensive systems, our nation will do everything in its power to develop a reasonable anti air platform that can be used both for rapid deployment and fixed urban positions to insure the safety and security of your nation and its people. Land based missile interception will prove to be a harder task (as there is less time to make an accurate prediction about a missile’s trajectory), but our dedicated research staff will put forth their best effort to make your country safe and secure.

That is all we can ask. Also, for the orbital platforms, our nation has no space program at the moment, therefore, we were wondering if you might assist us in the creation of our space program.

Schultaria Prime, perhaps a custom design workshop is in order? It seems many potential customers have something specific in mind, and are looking for a supplier. If you had a section devoted to this, where someone could request a project, then more people will be interested.

Biological research supplies would be very welcome. Specifically, the Bio-Sciences Division is interested in either a completely enclosed, heavily reinforced and secured biological and medical research and quarantine facility (preferably with a nuclear failsafe mechanism, although if necessary, we can provide our own) or a very large (dreadnought or super-dreadnought-sized in military terms), state-of-the-art biomedical research ship with several completely airtight, reinforced decks. Both should be equipped and able to operate completely independently of the outside world for at least one year if need be.

These are suggested guidelines, of course. Schultaria Prime is welcome to do as it wishes.

Our regional planners and contractors in Schultaria Prime, Schultaria Prime has developed some tentative designs for your research laboratory concept.

The facility would be divided into above and below ground sections with seven levels of severity and quarantine. Extending two stories above ground, the facilities for general maintainence and administration would be easily located to a multitude of specially built duplex-style housing developments for these workers. Observing the facility from the air, the facilities above ground would be cordoned off to two sections. The central building, four stories high and constructed in a conventional glass and steel skyscraper style, would be concerned with the administration of the facility. Adjacent to the administrative building would be the general maintenance depot; the welfare of the complex would be actively maintained from this site and would contain emergency supplies and quarantine facilities in case of catastrophic failure in the underground portion of the complex.

Encased in 6 meters of reinforced concrete with titanium-aluminum spacers, the five underground levels of the laboratory are designed to withstand a magnitude 8.25 seismic event with little to no superficial or systemic damage. Each level is designed to gradually provide additional protection and security to the laboratory personnel, but with no deviation to individual space, comfort, or reliability and quantity of equipment. Each laboratory level would possess 60 square meters for each member of the research staff (20 square meters for office space, 40 square meters laboratory space), a fully functional automated research lab offering the best in Schultarian computational technology, and enough supplies to adequately sustain a group of 125 people per level for 6 to 8 months. The level breakdowns would occur as follows:

+Low Risk Biological Research (Common Diseases, General Pathogen Studies, General Genetic Research)
+Quarantine Level 1 (Isopropyl and Ultraviolet sterilization for both Researchers and Covered Specimens)

About 20 years ago, the Imperial Dominion was involved in a very devastating war with a neighboring nation, Drosha. While we eventually proved victorious, it was not without great cost. Our coastline suffered extensive damage in the opening days of the war when the barbaric Droshans engaged in heavy naval bombardment before our fleet could be mobilized. Only now, 20 years later, has the damage been fully repaired. Also, Droshan bombers were able to ravage our cities and military installations with impunity because we did not have enough SAM missile batteries to engage their forces. Many high ranking military and government individuals lost their lives in these bombings. Were it not for our massive advantage in manpower, we may very well have lost the war.

After our victory, the Imperial Senate voted to use the Imperial coffers to revolutionize Sdaeriji's defensive capabilities. Unprecedented spending will follow. This is where Designwerks comes in. We believe that these opportunities will be a boon for your company.

I understand that Designwerks does not under any circumstances construct offensive weaponary. I can respect and appreciate that. Rest assured that absolutely none of our proposed contracts will be offensive weaponary. However, several of the most important projects we request are defensive weapon systems. We hope this will not be a problem.

Chief among the Imperial Dominion's needs are a fully integrated, nationwide SAM missile battery system, and coastal fortresses at almost 100 key harbors and defensive points across our coastline. Our engineers have completed the final series of testing for a highly successful multi launcher variant of the Himder fixed air platform which we believe would be ideal for your nation. Each system would contain a fully automated, self contained, launching platform of five missiles located in a linear fashion. Every standard detection device currently used by the SKC comes preinstalled and ready to be integrated with your existing detection platforms, along with a multi-faceted land and radio based intranet communication system for real time communication with other Himder systems across the nation. However, to be completely secure about communication integration, we will have to discuss the approximate amount of communications cable our nation will have to subcontract from the Nation of Lindim. As for the costal fortification projects, our nation will be more than willing to take the task. Just as a question, we would like to know the average dimensions of each fortified position. Since Schultarian contractors integrate all the necessary components into each building we construct, costs are determined by the number of square meters occupied by each building. Greetings from the Imperial Dominion. The Himder SAM missile system has been discussed by the Imperial Defense Commission and has been found quite acceptable. The Imperial Dominion would like to purchase 100,000 of these units, for a total cost of $275 billion. We would like them installed in groups of 100 at 1,000 locations throughout the Dominion. Please let us know how long and how much it would cost to have Designwerks perform this task.

As per the coastal fortifications, the Imperial Dominion wants the structures to each be 120 meters long and able to house five 18" guns a piece. Imperial engineers believe to most effectively contain the guns and all associated equipment that the structures should be 120 meters by 40 meters by 60 meters. However, we will leave it up to Designwerks to come up with their own plans. The only demands are 120 meters in length and the capability to hold five 18" guns.

As I stated in our previous communique, there would be other contracts available if the Imperial Defense Commission was pleased with your proposals. I would be happy to share a few more with you now. Should you again prove Designwerks is able to produce what the IDC is looking for, there will be even more contracts in the future. For now:

1. The Imperial Dominion wants to create a system of fortified underground bunkers for use in the case of nuclear warfare. The system should consist of a central headquarters structure (ooc: a la NORAD) to be built within the Yteru Mountain range in southeastern Sdaeriji, and 800 other military bunkers capable of supporting 1,000 people for 60 days each. These structures should be able to withstand a sustained nuclear attack from above. The entire system should be interconnected electronically so that all functions can be coordinated in case conventional communication is disrupted. Each bunker should include five of your CHEMIR supercomputers, and the headquarters structure should include ten of your DALIER supercomputers. The central headquarters will need the ability to communicate securely with all missile silos and other automated defense systems in the Imperial Dominion, with officials in the other military bunkers, as well as to any naval vessels operating at sea. Please provide a quote for this system.

2. The Imperial Dominion wants to create an orbital spy network to keep tabs on enemy actions. We would like to create a system, using your Spysat packages, to cover the entire planet. At any given moment we want the ability to view enemy movements anywhere in the world. Given that, we would need a way to coordinate all satellites to orbit in such a fashion that at no time is any section of the planet unwatched. We believe that 50-100 of your Spysat pacakges all governed by one of your QUANVER supercomputers. Access to this spy system should be accessible from both the IDC headquarters or from the fortified underground headquarters mentioned above. Please provide a quote for this system.

3. The Imperial Dominion wants Designwerks to design and build a new shipyard to replace the aging Ruan Imperial Shipyards located in the capital of Sdaeriji. The new shipyard should be capable of constructing 20 capital ships and 40 smaller vessels simultaneously. Please provide a quote for this.

To revitalize the existing shipyard, Designwerks would expand and update the current dockyards to accommodate larger vessels and automated repair equipment, revamp the communications systems between dockyards to increase worker efficiency, update the existing above ground infrastructure to keep it up to your nation's building codes, and expand the ground transit system to allow for larger and heavier transport vehicles. It is a pleasure to hear again from you, Director Schultz. I am glad to see that Designwerks continues to keep their standards of excellence.

As per the Imperial shipyards expansion and revitilization project: The IDC has decided that your proposal suits our needs quite nicely. The IDC was reluctant to tear down the Ruan shipyards to build new ones; your plan to renovate existing structures while expanding will not only save us money, but more importantly time. The Imperial government has already begun seizing private property around the current shipyards and down the shore line to provide the recommended 300 square kilometers of construction space. Designwerks teams may enter the Imperial Dominion at their earliest convienence to begin the renovation stage of construction. The process of clearing the 300 sq. km. will take approximately 18 months, after which Designwerks may begin construction of the new facilities. As for payment, $24.5 billion will be wired immediately upon confirmation, with addition payments of $18 billion for the remaining 14 years of construction, for a total of $276.5 billion.

The Imperial Dominion has some other projects that we believe Designwerks could accomplish for us. Recently, Sdaeriji has increased its number of nuclear facilities tenfold. Many of these facilities are located in remote parts of the country, away from population centers in case of an accident. Unfortunately, such locations have made it extremely difficult to transport materials to and from the plants. Specifically, the transportation of hazardous waste has posed severe logistical problems for us.

We would like Designwerks to create a proposal for a railroad system interconnecting all nuclear facilities, as well as connecting them with a port specifically designed to handle radioactive waste. The Imperial Dominion has estimated that the best possible routes between all facilities that avoid any dense population centers would, in total, be about 45,000 miles of railroad.

In addition to the railroad system, we would like Designwerks to engineer a small port, capable of handling radioactive waste from all 110 nuclear plants, plus the ability to be expanded to deal with more waste when more nuclear facilities are constructed.

Also, we would need designed for us both railroad cars and ships capable of safely and securely handling nuclear waste. We would need enough of these railroad cars to adequately transport nuclear waste from all 110+ facilities to the processing port, and enough ships to ferry said waste to our dumping grounds in the island of Telis. (Rest assured that the grounds on Telis have been built with the utmost attention to the environment. Waste stored there will not adversely affect the environment, and there is enough room to support dumping for several hundred, if not thousand, years.) Please provide us with quotes for this entire system.

We are ready to wire our money for the Lodis Defensive Systems.


Here is some rough terrain data for our other 4 metropolitan areas. We have developed several more Metropolitan areas but we will use your schemes and such to develop defenses for these metropolitan areas in the future.

Here's the data on Lorn, Kalista, Medina, and Vau.

Near Lorn, there are several hills, creating a small valley where the river meanders through, before entering Lorn proper.

Kalista doesn't have any hills nearby, but has a lot of dense jungle. However, there is a large canyon to the north of Kalista, with wide gorges.

The Lorn River is approximately 1 to 1.5 kilometers wide on average, while the Kalista river is approximately 300 - 500 meters wide on average.

The city of Medina is located in a vast plain similiar to the Mid-West of North America. Medina is split in half by the Sky River, which originates near Lodis. There are rolling hills nearby, which form the foothills of the Grebev mountains. Lodis is located approximately 320 kilometers to the west of Medina.

Our only coastal city, Vau, is located at a large natural bay and harbor. It is at the end of a long and wide fjord, which resembles the geography of the Baja Peninsula in North America.

There is a large circular bay approximately 27 kilometers in diameter, where Vau is located at. Then the bay transforms into a fjord at its southern edge. Both coasts of the fjord extend for 50 kilometers and the fjord itself is approximately 4 kilometers wide at average. The western shore of the bay and fjord lead to the foothills of the Grebev Mountain Range, while the eastern shore is full of forests and several swamps, fed by the Lorn River (the river Lorn and Kalista are located on).


For Project Poseidon, your suggestions are quite excellent.

We would like the coastal wall and defenses to begin at the ocean end of the 50 kilometer fjord, and then run east along the shoreline for 200 kilometers, as we originally requested. We would like to keep the option open for extensions of the coastal defenses in the future, once we expand and found more coastal towns and cities.


Our Colossus Artillery is mobile, mounted on a 6 wheel chassis, using 8 meter diameter dumpster truck tires.

Overall dimensions of one Colossus Artillery unit is 20 meters wide, 35 meters long, and 15 meters tall (compact transport configuration), and 20 meters tall (battle configuration).

We would like the bunkers to have an entrance and exit for these Colossus Artillery, so that if the defenses are about to be breached, they would be able to retreat.



We would like to finish Project Defender, at the Lodis site first, then once that is done, we should be able to start Project Poseidon, so not to tie up both our nations resources and materials.

Defenses and such aside, we would like to make an additional request.

We would like to have some assistance from Designwerks and Schultaria Prime in developing our Space Program. We have plans for 6 particular Phases in our development, to give us and your people a rough "blueprint" to follow in the development of our program.

Phase I is establishing industries and infrastructure to produce and service satellites, launch platforms, rockets, etc.

Phase II is building a Space Station, and launching satellites into orbit.

Phase III would be launching unmanned probes to all corners of the Solar System.

Phase IV is the goal of manned spaceflight to Luna (moon), Mars and its two moons, and hopefully to the moons of the Gas Giants. Our scientists speculate that Jupiter and Saturn may have moons with water and minerals.

Phase V would be establishing permament off-Earth operations. Colonies on Luna, Mars and its moons, Asteroid Mining, and additional manned expeditions to the Gas Giants and beyond.

Phase VI would be our first missions outside the Solar System, such as sending probes and colony ships to Alpha Centauri and beyond.

Phase VII is for development and planning of Interstellar matters after the first 6 Phases are completed. Additional Phases would be implemented when necessary.

We foresee the implementation of Phases I through III over the next 10 - 15 years, Phases IV and V within 25 - 50 years, and Phase VI within 60+ years from this current time.


Any recommendations, suggestions, or aid would be greatly appreciated in regards of technology, factories, infrastructure, or education for our future astronauts and Space Engineers.
