Three Terminator class Strikeships stalked about the system under cover of thier Distortion Point Fields, trying to find the source of that blasted communication. This seemed a suitable system for resourcing, but noooo... There had to be sentients here.

They had orders to look into the people in the system, determine thier power, and if necessary... destroy anything that got in the way of thier mission.

The Rogumer, was flanked by the Vigilance and the Injustice, and three Strikeships were a formidable force, so they were unworried when the Rogumer detected the saucer-headed vessel approaching the system at FTL speeds.

For a brief moment, the Terminators "surfaced" from thier spacial distortion fields, each launching a handful of thier onboard Akumu-X Mechaform to provide recon and a lure before dropping back into the field, unseen and unnnoticed...


750 Akumu-X have been launched.
Orders: Slow move through the system, remain close to Capships.

Carrier Status: Distortion Field On - Not Ready
Barrier Status: All shields Ready - Distortion Field at 100%

The Rogumer waited patiently, watching to see what the saucerhead would do...

The Akumu swarmed around the saucerhead, the Rogumer amused.

They had recieved the hail, but they were dead wrong.

The Terminators were already surrounding the saucerhead, the splotches simply marking where they had activated thier fields sloppily.

The reletively tiny Akumu seemed to freeze, one of them deciding to examine the saucerhead's shielding with a small particle beam pulse...

The Spacial Distortion Point Field essentially works by "dropping" an area of space and pinching space shut above it, essentially removing it from "XYZ" space.
