Today King John III turned over all foreign territories to Verbotten Luftwaffe. This came after the recent wedding of his brother Prince Nikolas and a VL Princess and the recent death of his Father and greatest ruler Matich and the world have ever seen King John II. This is the end of an era. The end of Matich taking part in foreign affairs. King John III has ordered new laws into existence which are pretty much turning Matich into an isolationist nation.

IC: Chellis refuses to allow Verbotten luftwaffe to take matich algeria. Chellis fought dearly for the land, and only split it because matich made a large contribution to it as well. Chellis would like to do this peacefully, and asks verbotten luftwaffe not to move any troops to algeria at all, which is already majority owned by chellis.

Chellian military divisions have been notified, and are moving toward Tindouf, Algiers, and other cities. Chellians have been told to strictly not fire on matich troops at all, being long time friends, and only to fire if they put up actual resistance, although to be peaceful as fully as possible.

Chellian air units from nigeria are coming up to help the algerian troops, as they were to be used in the fight against allanea previously. The planes are almost 100% full of AAM's, and are not planning on striking any cities or killing anyone. Chellians are to fully tell their plans and intentions when any matich forces are encountered. Chellian units are not to disperse any matich troops, and give them full leisure time to leave the country, or stay if they even want to. Chellis is, after this, going to extend its closed borders to the borders of old algeria, although matich forces will be given full access.

Official Statement from the Foreign Ministry

As a friend and ally of Verbotten Lufftewaffe and the former nation of Matich, the Grand Duchy shall fully support, in every way possible, VL's claim to Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and Northern Africa. The situation in Algeria should be settled between the governments of Chellis and Verbotten Lufftewaffe, but Hamptonshire will stand by VL in its endeavor to fully integrate the former territories of Matich into VL's sphere of influence.

We will not abandon our friends.

Chellis is willing to make restitution to VL, if it feels it needs it. Chellis is also fine with VL peacekeepers in algeria until plans are final. We simply feel that the people who fought for algerian freedom should be the ones to protect it, and a united algeria would make sense anyways.

Chellis is willing to make monetary restitution, or possibly a defense agreement of some sort. Chellis does want to integrate Algeria into chellian west africa however. This is not a bribe to take the nation, we are simply restituting Verbotten Luftwaffe for any economic losses it might take for not controlling a certain part of africa. We ask VL to come up with what it feels is nessecary, and most likely we are willing to agree. We dont want an enemy on our borders, but a friend.

Panoolian colony, Portugal

Holy Panooly bought a small piece of land in Portugal from Matich and today HP occupies it. Our colonial army (500 men strong) and a 1200 colonists will arrive today. We have heard that Matich is giving away his territories but this piece of land will remain Panoolian. We were allowed to build a small military base as well as a military harbour. This will serve as a base of operations for our colonies in Azores.

We have made this announcement today to make sure that our colony will not affected by Matich's sales of land.

He didn't sell the land...He Ceded ownership & control to me...The restitution part came from a lil dispute from Chellis which is totally understandable...& well on it's way to being settled...

Not what I meant...& I'm not contesting it...I remember when he done...I was stating that Matich didn't sell his Territories to me...His agreement with you stands in perpetually as long as we maintain good ties....I see no reason to repudiate any of Matich's agreement's between you
