One of the most expensive warship classes ever designed by the Five Civilized Nations, the Phoenix was designed to be rugged and powerful, more than capable of performing beyond its design limits. Sporting the new FGM-99 Iron Fist Mobile Suits and the new S/F-50 Ranger Interceptors, along with a slew of new technology, including the massively devastating HellNova Devastation Cannon and the five different layers of shielding, the Phoenix Class Carrier Battleships are designed to bring the Five Civilized Nations Fleets into the next generation with a durable warship able to withstand a lot of punishment while dealing out destruction.

The naming of the vessel class as the Phoenix was not a coincidence. The first prototype vessel was tested by arraying an entire battle fleet of 537 warships against it. Lasting five hours against the steady pounding of over 500 capital ships, the prototype survived the trial, albeit heavily damaged from its encounter with the warships. After swift repairing that took barely a month, the vessel class exhibited the qualities of a phoenix, able to receive a lot of punishment, die, and be resurrected.

Just as an FYI, future/space tech nations as a general rule aren't allowed to sell bigass warships to nations under 200-300 million, although this number shifts around a bit. If you wish to purchase vessels, buy something smaller. Forget about the Argama.
