A new battleship is under construction in an undisclosed covered shipyard. It will be the largest built by IDF Shipyards and will be available for export after trials. Allies will get 1st dibs so please line up, construction will take 5 NS years for the ships and only 25 slips will be available at the main yard (more will be added soon) only 5 ships per year will be built originally and capacity will be increased.

It is classiffied at this point, but it will rival a Doujin class ship.

I can answer certain inquiries, but not all.

OOC: I will eventually need help on how I import a pic from MS Paint onto NS. I need instruction as this will be my 1st time

3) Go to www.imageshack.us

4) Click host image and select the jpeg version of your ship.

5) Press the copy button above where it says "post this image on your forum"

6) Post a reply and press paste (ctrl + ins).

I don't know enough about that class.

you have lined up 1st and get 1st dibs on export ship (won't be ready for some time though) Price hasn't been figured yet.

Will the simlier in size to a Doujin? Or are the weapon systems just powerful?

when saving the pic save as a .jpg image.

then either: use a hosting website (more difficult and will possibly require the use of an FTP program but so superior)
or use the image attachment option, under your box for typeing your psots there should be a manage attachments button in the additional options section, click on this, the click the browse button located the file on your pc then click the upload button now clsoe the window and when psoted your message should include a clickable link to bring up the attachment as in the example below (prototype OMP logo)

It won't be trimarian like Doujin ships as I hate that hull design. It will be powerful and hopefully have rail guns, which are the best thing to kill a Doujin.

Oh well then i'll be ignoring it, rail guns IMHO fall otuside of the 2015 boundary i set for stuff i'll accept, yes a rail gun was thought about for the DD(x)/DD-21 but was rejected in favour of the 6.1" AGS.

the US Navy has tested the railgun and it is modern tech.

OOC: I want to know what a good size for a railgun with 250nm range is.

I'll kick in 100 billion for the development of the ships if you bump me to 1st in the waiting line.

I actually have cancelled some projects to allow initial build of 10 exports per year. you can get 1st year and will be on the list. No development help is needed as IDF Shipyards is ranked as the 2nd best storefront in terms of revenue (based on Fortune 20 list of May-June) revenue almost 10 trillion during that time.

the only rail gun specs I've seen are for a 200mm projectile, with a range of 218nm. Projectiles will need to be "smart" (self guiding) to hit with any acuracy beyond 50 nm.

pic is being finished now (my 1st attempt at a ship so don't laugh when you see it) Specs are yet to come.
