A large spherical-sized object, approximately 100km across, has appeared near the orbit of Jupiter, above the solar plane, moving towards Earth.

A Hylind telo-scope as reconized the object as a meteor. Currently Hylind scientists are currently finding out more information on how much of a threat it is to Earth and is requesting help by other nations.

The object continues to move towards Earth. It has begun a slight rotation on its axis.

I will shoot at it if it deems a threat! We have one nuclear missile, and not afraid to use it. Maybe calculate where it's coming from and bam out the missile out of my secret silo in IIRRAAQQII

Prefered Method of removing the threat:
Shooting a ton of nuclear missiles to knock it out of harms way. Somethng of its size and weight would require some sort of planet destoryer type weapon to vaporize the object and such technology is obviously far too advanced. Trying to blow it up with nukes is also pointless.

Hylind does not have a suffecient amount of nuclear weapons to deal with the problem at hand and is requesting a nation to knock out of the way.

We had concerns that this may have been an Imperium ship of some sort, and decloaked our orbiting sensor probes for a more detailed scan. You'll be relieved to learn that it is not; we may be detecting some form of energy signature, however we cannot be certain.

IC: The Sskiss will utilize "natural law of attraction/repultion" [gravity] to divert the "egg of death" [asteroid] from "creche of birth" [earth].

Impact of object will cause cessation of all but "life unseen" [microscopic life] on creche of birth.

Sir, there appears to be an object upon an incoming trajectory with Terra. Several of the other nations have tried to scan it but there have been no results. Either there is a unique mixture of alloys in the object or it is being guided. There were unverified reports it started to spin as it passed Jupiter.

Send one of the inner system Torq vessels to get a visual. Do not take any hostile actions, this is just a fact finding mission. Have the ship report back as soon as they discover anything.

20 minutes later the Torq vessel Inquisition left the Sol Shipyards. As the ship engaged its drive, it seemed to become insubstantial. The “ghost” accelerated and was out of sight within moments.

A few seconds later the Inquisition slowed to a halt a few kilometers above the object. As the captain slowly decreased power to the Torq Drive the mass of the ship returned from Torq Space. The captain maintained power to the drive in case they needed to use the Torq Effect as a defense.

The Inquisition matched the vector of the object and observed for now
