The Arabs living in the Parthian controlled area of Egypt have been escorted into Egypt proper to make way for 5,000,000 Persian colonists. The new governor, Sassan Terhani, declares that one day this province will be an oasis in a desert.

100,000 Egyptians have left so far and 10,000 Persian settlers have moved into the old town of Al-Ghardaqah (which is now known as New Persepolis.)

In a complete reversal of policy the PArthian government has denounced governor Sassan Terhani's deportment of a people from a land that was never Persian and had stopped forced deportments and arrested governor Sassan.

how very interesting, our old favourite enemy, the long diminished, if not to say devoured Parthians, reversing history by deporting Arabs. lovely, as long as that distracts them from moving westward...

Not that I'm interfering or anything but you don't have shift people quickly. 100,000 people in Egypt, 10,000 colonists and 1,000,000 people back home? You must have a good rail system.

it was planned long ago...the colonists were actually poor Persian squatters outside "New Persepolis", and, gosh, believe me, deportation can be quick. just send the people marching out on foot, accompanied by guards.

i wonder, with the right honourable governour gone, will the settlers remain settled?

The settlers will remain and will build new cities along the coast and will take over New Persepolis.

Oh and if it isn't our old "friends" Byzantium. Trust me we feel that enough justice was done to Julian and Jovian so we'll be happy just sitting around and expanding eastward rather then westward.
