GE, we'll keep the Invasion thread for military operations, and this one for diplomacy. I'll be posting followup in the nuke attack thread soon, but let's not make any new dramatic changes there or in the original thread.

Well, that's pretty transparant. Consider GE implicated in the nuke attack. Bad history plus Generian transmissions plus sudden use of nuclear weapons they couldn't have aquired themselves plus sudden move to 'liberate' Azerbaijan makes the McQuaide Intelligence Services positive the Generic Empire was behind the attack, and thus should be held completely responcible for the damage. The asshats even had the nerve to make some sanctimonious statement calling for an end to the Imperialist activities--Them, the slave-owning nation with an Emperor! The JOC staff were outraged, as was acting Prime Minister Karpov.

McQuaide has suffered yet another terrorist attack, this time in the form of an atomic weapon detonated in the former capital of Tbilisi. We are sure that the same Azeri terrorists responcible for the rocket and conventional bomb attack of one month ago were responcible. However, these Azeris were but pawns of a more insidious and evil party--the Generic Empire! We are now positive that the Generic Empire supplied a portable nuclear device via an intelligence agent named Thomas Edemskoi.

At this moment, the Generic Empire is assembling a fleet with the purpose of invading McQuaide and Azerbaijan, under the auspices of preventing Imperialism. They, the Empire whom at times has perpetrated acts of genocide and supported a state-run slave trade, supported piracy on the high seas, they who serve a dictatorial Emperor, now sail under the flag of anti-imperialism?

People of the world, make no mistake. The Generic Empire used a nuclear weapon to attempt to weaken the McQuaide will, and force us to surrender. We will never surrender. This attack is unwarranted, treacharous, and illegal according to international convention.

We call upon the nations of the world to condemn the Generic Empire, and help McQuaide ensure that the Generians fail in this attempt at invasion and genocide!

The Imperial Triumviate sends her deepest condolences, and stands with McQuaide in arms and friendship. We will bring the full force of our armies upon these disgusting terrorists, and promise the support of all our military forces.

We can open up a second front in the war, as we have established naval bases in Cyprus (OOC: In a previous thread, I and several other nations did an AMF-style obliteration of the nation of Greece and Cyprus), and can provide logistical and intelligence support. In responce to the accusations that the Generic Empire had nothing to do with the nuclear attack, the McQuaide External Intelligence Bureau has been instructed to make public communications intercepts and translations captured by RC-135 Rivet Joint electronic intelligence gathering aircraft as well as the videotaped testimony of several captured Azeri terrorists regarding a foreigner who met with the Azeri terror leader Mommad.

While this is an unfortunate incident. Until concrete evidence is brought to the world stage we shall not condemn any nation until the facts are out in the open.

President Mike Sarzo listened to the appeal from McQuaide's acting prime minister.

"Oh geez, aren't we already involved in enough military operations?" Sarzo grumbled when an aide suggested sending a fleet to support McQuaide.

"The situation in Morathania looks like it's been resolved before we could get arms out there and Cam III's leader is still en route to possible peace talks," Jordan Diehl, an assistant to Senior Vice President for External Affairs Mark Lorber pointed out. He didn't mention the slavery situation involving The Burnsian Desert, hoping that Sarzo wouldn't notice.

"But The Burnsian Desert is already getting involved with a slavery situation," Sarzo pointed out. Diehl's face didn't show expression, but inwardly, his heart sank. He had distant relatives in McQuaide and he didn't want to have Sarzonia not support that country.

"However, Generia is heavily involved with that situation," Sarzo said. "I've already warned them once. They know I'm watching their every move now.

"Anything further?"

"Should I contact McQuaide."

"I'll do it," Sarzo replied wearily.

Diehl left the bunker and Sarzo pulled out his laptop to send a message to McQuaide.

While we are currently unable to lend military support, we do support your efforts and we offer to send you a supply of arms from our manufacturing plants. [OOC: It's the largest industry on my country page.] We are already keeping a watchful eye on Generia.

Sarzo clicked send on his laptop. He shook his head and stared at the dark gray walls of his bunker. He sorely missed the interior of his bedroom at the Gray House, but until Cam III was no longer at war with Sarzonia, it wasn't safe to leave the underground bunker and return to Woodstock.

Any assistance that could be provided would be at this time greatly appreciated in this crisis. The destruction of downtown Tbilisi in the Generian nuclear attack has left much of our non-military heavy industry either in rubble or irradiated.

They will come with tools and equipment to help get your civilian industries back on their feet. [OOC: I'll post the composition of the fleet later if needed.] If you object to having armed Sarzonian naval ships in your soverign waters, they can remain in neutral waters while the personnel and equipment arrive on your shores.

In addition, we will gladly accept your diplomatic and economic overtures and we will reciprocate them.

Izistan medical units will be welcomed to the refugee camps outside of the contamination zones. Temporary landing fields have been set up at the larger camps, allowing for STO/L aircraft such as the C-130 to deliver supplies directly, or your teams can be brought to the area via train after flying into Cowden Air Force Base.

I don't recognize nanotech weapons, and won't until there's some credible evidence that IRL nanotech has gone past the most basic functions like SR radio tagging, and that further developments are possible. no they are within modern tech limits because they really do exists. A man by by the name Dr.h.glidion developed the nano weapns for the U.S goverment in 1998 but at the time they were not cost effective plus these nanos dont use radio control to operate the nanos a controled by polygenthime it is a liqiud crystal single command chip(which do exist they are in your computers now.) they only last for 2 mins. because of there limited command structure.-meaning they are like acid bombs but only eat 1 thing

The Generic Empire is guilty of an act of war, and yet they still threaten war with unsubstatiated claims. By all rights, it is McQuaide that should be threatening *you*. However, we are too busy attempting to defend ourselves from your brazen threats, and at the same time recover from your cowardly, treacharous, and illegal use of a nuclear weapon against a civilian target.

McQuaide has already freed Azerbaijan, freed them from the warlords, opium peddlers, and terrorists that were dominating the people in liew of a legitimate government. As soon as a democratically elected government is in place, McQuaide shall return sovereignty to that government.

The international community has been provided full access to the evidence against you. It is you who should be backing down from your threats.
