And so the beautiful and virgin lands of Scy came to be; green and blue and golden and white. All the color and majesty did encompass the skies and the earth and the peoples who set upon it. In the midst of this new life, the people joined as one into a strong and sturdy entity known as Malahi. Tendaeus, most noble of all men, was fast to become the most powerful of all the people, entrusted with their lives and their dreams. For his kindness and passion, Tendaeus and all that follow in his line were blessed by the Creator to live many a year beyond other men...
The decades did pass, and then centuries, until the present day, with his great ancestor as a guiding light, Tendaeus XIX rules the ever-expanding Malahi with a just and unswaying hand.
Malahi recognizes it's ancient rival for long centuries passed: Kitanthria, the land of ever-green hills. Though of no match for expanse of land, we do grant it existence.
OOC: Any medieval, archaic, dark ages, and/or magical countries may join the world of scy, and you will have your own country. Malahi is the central region, and Kitanthria is connected by it's eastern border, extending westward for many leagues. The rest of the land is open for settlement or "spontaneous" proclamation of existence.

Tendaeus XI was a noble leader until a terrible day; his once beautiful blue eyes did dim and darken to black, and his soul did shortly follow. He banished the poor and destitute to the cold, hilled lands of the west, never to return or be aided. Famine swept the people, and starvation as well; Araeni and his six brothers crawled to the highest hill they could find, and begged the Creator for mercy, but not for them. They prayed for their sisters and the other innocent women of the castaways to be spared, at the price that they would be sacrificed. By the morning light, their famished mother did come to the hill in search of her sons; as the first rays shown, she reached the hill top, only to find six great apple trees, full of life-giving fruit, so much that it sustained the score of hungry souls and beyond. It was then found that the pure and fair Elenia was pregnant without cause; she bore forth a son, whom was named Araeni, in honor of their savior. He was very pure of flesh and mind, and much to the people's surprise, this first born of the new lands grew to adulthood in less than a month. He spoke often as if he were the true Araeni, and organized the people, teaching them to plant apple trees and other ways to cultivate the land that was so foreign to their knowledge.
Araeni built a vast, thriving community in the years that followed, and appointed the most pure and valiant of the men to rule over a castle keep and the lands surrounding, but remain loyal to his majesty.
Malahi, under the rule of Tendaeus XVI, was the first to scout out what had happened to the discarded exhiles of his ancestor's evil whims. Kitanthria by this time had many a proud lord, skilled in the art of fighting upon horseback, who would be willing to challenge the "Great" Empire of Malahi and rid the blessed lands of the Creator of these corrupt souls... but Araeni, still alive and young after such time, stayed their charge. He set an example for the people of both lands by forgiving Malahi for the former Emperor's cruel and heartless deed.
Tendaeus XVI did challenge Araeni to a single battle in order to prove who was of highest just and valor. Once on the field, they charged each other, lance in hand and noble steed thundering forward. Yet it was Tendaeus who fell from his horse that day, when he threw down his lance moments before he was struck mortally in the heart. Araeni did kneel to his fallen foe, forgiving him individually for any misdeeds his ancestor had performed. Tendaeus XVI denounced this, stating that only his death could pay for such sins in his great family. A beam of purest light did then bear his body to the heavens, and Araeni did weep, believing the line of such a great family ended... but the same miracle occured for the house of Tendaeus. His queen wife was found pregnant not many months later, and claimed that her husband had come to her in the night as a great spirit.
And so the two great lines continued, as Araeni rode off into the farthest western lands in search of new people to bring the light, having bore a son from his damsel lover. Tendaeus XVII became one of the most honored and revered of his line, bringing new hope and prosperity to the people of Malahi, and friendship with Kitanthria...
