General Secretary Nikita Baria walks onto Podium

Good Evening Comrades.Today,I am here to discuss matters that should be brought to our attention. For a few weeks now,I have closely watched the situation on the Continent of Africa. The civil wars, the mistreatment of citizens by the invading forces among other things.

Today Comrade,It is the day WE help that shattered continent lift its hand up from the invadings facist powers..who only thrive to steal there natural resources.Comrades,I believe today is the day...that we officially step into this conflict to free that continent! We ask our allies to support us..for I believe it wont be a easy fight or easy talking to the facist pigs.By the grace of Comrade Lenin! We will make the African Continent free!

Entire Supreme Soviet breaks out into applause

Chellis holds about ten percent of africa. If Malatose wants a fight, it can have fun fighting against the best army in the world.

We thank General Secretary Baria for his comments and his positive views on the situation on the continent. However, we must stress that any attempts to thwart imperialism and create economic developement in Africa cannot be handled solely through the use of military force. Ideally, nations which wish to "make the African continent free" should do so with dialogue and cooperation with local free governments. It has been our experiance that attempts to oppose invasion solely with counterinvasion often leads merely to a changing of masters rather than serious shifts in the political situation.

Origional estimates were wrong. Chellis owns about 20 percent of africa, not counting cameroon which is only under chellian protection/rebuilding.

For the record, Cameroon is under Hamptonian protection under the aegis of the Allied Peacekeeping Force of Cameroon, Chellis has signed a treaty forbidding the annexation or subjegation of Cameroon.

The Grand Duchy will not stand by while further imperialism and forced government structures are forced upon the continent of Africa. We have recently completed our 10-year $1 Trillion Dollar, West African Reconstruction Campaign and are reviewing the possibility of starting another similiar Campaign in the immediate future.

CM owns Libya and parts of Egypt and thus we are very disturbed by the statements malatose made. We wish to use diplomacy to resolve these problems. Well we'd like to try. But it must be realized we've spent, or are in the process of spending, over 2.5 trillion dollars on Libya and Egypt to make sure our colonists are comfortable and can begin producing products to improve the CM economy, we realize in the long run that we will make our investments back 1000 fold.

Bravo on the plans. More nations should spend money to keep foreign continents together nder one name. Just a suggestion.

Chellis doesnt see the point of the comment, it doesnt contradict what we said.

Also, if hamptonshire wishes to help western africa, its gonna have to do it through the seas. The borders from the south coast of nigeria to the mediterranean sea(by way of chellian lybia)are closed, no one except pre-approved people may pass. And few are approved.

We either move in from the South or approach through international waters, as long as it's more than 12 nm out, it's international water.

For most people it is 12 nm out. In RL China claims like 200 nm out. In NS CM (that's me :) ) claim 50 nm out.

Oh wait, China has 200 nm for economic activities zone. Well I claim my territorial waters are 50 nm out.

Actually, most countries, where possible, claim a 100-200 nm exclusive economic zone.

Hamptonian vessels usually sail no closer than 75 nm to shore, geography permitting.

Yes, nigeria owns the waters thirty nm out under it, we cant do much past there, sadly.
