We, as the Empire of Steinism, take full responsibility and pleasure in attacking the infidel nation of Canada. Those who have died deserve their pain, and those that live still shall soon get it.

DEATH TO THE INFERIOR RACE!!!

Germany officially asks for Japanese support in Canadian invasion.

Dear all Japanese and German soldiers,

We would like support of any Japanese or German nations that would like to assist in the destruction of the peoples of Canada. Any or all peoples willing to help will get their own share of the conquered land.

Please help us in any way you deem fit, whether it is defensive, offensive, or just supplies to our brave troops.

The Republic of Octovonia condemns these attacks on the sovereign nation of Canada. We demand you remove your forces now, before Octovonia needs to get its hands dirty with economic and political sanctions.

Message from one of the generals of the German Troops:

Dear Overseers of battle,

Many losses of German troops, but unprepared and weak canadian civilians allowed for many new soldiers and not much resistance. Unpreparedness of Canadians helped. Second wave should arrive soon, and we now have bases set up in case of a canadian backlash.

All canadian soldiers are branded with a "C" when they pledge allegiance to Germany, as to keep track. Also, there are no canadian prisoners in hopes that there will be no revolution once Canada has been taken.

OOC1: The funny thing is, as a Canadian myself, such an attack would probably happen in the RL Canada. Our army is a joke.

OOC2: Shouldn't the region of Canada be contacted of this?

OOC:
Very poor RP, on two counts; one, you're just summarising campaign status. Two, it's very poor form to effectivly make up an opponent who doesn't exist in NS, and then have the gall to RP them yourself; some would even call it godmodding.

Find a real opponent; there are enough Canadian-themed nations on NS.

Hardly a joke; small, over-stretched, and lacking the most modern equipment in certain areas, but they're a very high quality modern army overall with great training.

Besides, we have NATO to call on, and that means the USA.

OOC2: Shouldn't the region of Canada be contacted of this?

Heh; that would be funny if they counter-attacked. I would, but I'm far future tech.. and my army's smaller than RL Canada's.

OOC: What I'm trying to do with this is set up the original attack, and have Canadian nations come back and try and set up a counter-attack, or fight back and have the war on this thread. We can also get other nations to do attacks, for one or the other sides, thats what I was trying to do.

True...but I was just thinking of Canada all by itself. Of course, Canada is safe because we have NATO to back us up. Plus, to my knowledge, our army is more of a peace-keeping force than a fighting unit, and, against the likes of, say, the actual Germany, I wouldn't like our chances. Then we have that whole Sea King fiasco...

However, I'll admit, I don't know that much about Canada's army, so there are things I'm obviously missing.

To Pineswiggle: I appreciate your intent, but as far as I know, proper NS RPing involves actually contacting a propsective opponent first before starting the RP. You can't just automatically assume someone will RP. Besides, as said before, there are many Canadian-themed nations here- I'm sure someone will want to RP.
