My people! It is time for the nations of the earth to recognise what is ours. We call upon the governments of foriegn nations to recognise Momanugise as the true government of Armenia.

To all Nations: I implore to recognise the Government of Momanguise as the true representative of the people of Armenia. Please help to lift these poor people out of the darkness of ignorance, and into a new age of constructive international co-operation.

Now according to the above thread (which was the only RL nation claims thread I could find) Armenia has no claimants. I do not want a war, and I do not want to take this country by force, so please, please, make my day and recognise me as having a holding on the world map.

Please.

To the leader of the Government of Momanguise;

Your claim on Armenia does not affect our economic interests, either positively or negatively. Therefore, the Government of Omicron Alpha Incorporated remains indifferent to the entire affair. If recognition will improve economic relations, then you shall have recognition.

Sincerely;

Director of Economy and Commerce

A nation which does not explore all avenues of trade is offensive to our very religion. Your unnecessarily hostile response shall be remembered.

ooc: I have always RP'd as a slavonic nation, and it is a great shame that almost every nation is taken. I don't seek any form of conflict by claiming, say, Russia, and all I want is a place on 'the map'. I think that the system for claiming countries is somewhat flawed, if it requires an act of imperialism. I am no imperialist, but does that mean that I should have no place in the world?
Western Asia
27-07-2004, 21:56
OOC: One alternate is to claim lands that are already said to be claimed...and to just talk to the person with listed claims whenever there's a conflict (ie, when there's a war nearby or a regional event that might concern you both...and you can negotiate for control of the territory during that time). Often people just use the "alternate world system" whereby your claims to a certain land and another's are taking place in alternate realities...that being said...WA as I have it controls Turkey (among other places) and is moving into Iranian territory following the collapse of the nation controlling those lands...

IC: Western Asia recognizes Momanguise as the rightful successor government in Armenia, our small neighbor by the State of Turkey.
