Bonstock

The fog was still. A private stood on a cliff. He took out his binoculars, and looked into the fog. Nothing there, he thought to himself. Suddenly, some dark, murky shadows emerged. He looked again. "My god," he said. A huge invasion fleet, perhaps 50 LHAs, 100 other ampibious ships, and dozens of destroyers, battleships, and aircraft carriers. Suddenly, a shot rang out. A shell "hit" the private. "GOD DAMMIT!" he shouted. The little buzzer went off. It said "You are now dead."

"Dammit!" the private said. "Third time this week!"

Manwhile, the battleships bombarded the shore defeses with lasers, which hit off sensors which signified the result of the impact. Then, helicopters, AAAVs, and LCACs raced to the beach.

The "invasion" of Bonstock, perpetrated by none other then the Bonstocknian Navy and Marine Corps, had begun, mostly to test Bonstocknian shore defenses and the rediness of the Bonstocknian army, navy, and airforce. To see what would happen, IF Bonstock were invaded. Next time, if it ever really happened, the soldiers would be ready.

ooc: if anyone wants to join the exercises, perhaps as the agressor or help in defense, you can.
