in a shocking move the baikalian minister of defence and offence (Walton Simons) has declared that the nations 10,000 tanks will be scrapped and replaced by advanced modular multi-purpose APCs IFVs and other similar vehicles.

main battle tanks are not useful in modern warfare anymore as our field tests have proved, they are slow, unmanuverable, can be easily destroyed, and expensive, they also dont have many purposes on the modern battlefield, our new battle proven modular apcs will fill the gap and will replace all of our mbts, they will also soon be avalible on the internation arms market.

The Minister of Defense took a look at the news from Baikal and laughed. He simply laughed.

In the back of his mind, he thought, Wow. To just scrap all their MBT's in one fell swoop...what a dumbass move!

Then, another thought ran through his head. Hmmm...although that was incredibly stupid of them, their *glances at paper* "advanced modular multi-purpose" vehicles may not be half-bad.

This was quickly replaced with another fit of laughter and They're gonna get creamed on the battlefield...

Meanwhile, Sevarian freighters loaded the tanks and sailed back for home.

Premier Mannerheim was sitting in his desk, drinking a glass of Vodka. He then chuckled when he heard about loading the tanks. "Those idiots thought we would use them for target practice. We'll just restore them and add them to our own army. Fools."
