Curtis Fabus walked into the old judicial building. There were seats for about 10,000 people. He was wearing his trademark gray custom made uniform. He was smoking a large cigar. He said, "Today we have very important business to tend to." The people all cheered and clapped for 20 minutes straight until an RG soldier sounded a loud bell. There were 6,000 regular army officers (Some Generals, mostly majors, captains, and colonels) and 1,500 medium party officials in the seats.
He sat down and took out a large stack of papers from his briefcase and he began to read names. As names were called off, Republican Guard soldiers made their way to where those called off were sitting and hauled them away. People started screaming "Fabus" "Hail Fabus", in vain attempts to avoid being taken away.
He continued reading names for about 2 hours. Then after the names of about 750 party officials and 2,000 army officers were called he stopped. Fabus said, "Those called off were all traitors. Those of you who have shown loyalty will be rewarded by being the firing squads for those who are disloyal. Good day." He stood up to walk out, the people clapped and cheered for about 20 minutes until the bell was sounded again. About 20 minutes after he left, those who were on the lists were shot just in the judicial building parking garage.
Thus began the purges of those deemed disloyal.
Occ- I know I posted this in another thread, but it deserves its own thread because the purges will have much more soon to follow.
