Holy Panooly, today...

„Come on ya lazy bum its a mere 20 minute walk and you're tired already!” The 3 men walked through the jungle, chopping away leaves and twigs while they moved on through the shallow marshes. It was high noon and the sun was right above their heads. They could feel the suns warmth even through the dense layers of leaves which covered nearly the whole land of Holy Panooly. „Are we there yet?” „Yes we're finally there”

The 2 men saw the ruins of what once was the only building from the Austar Union ever built in Holy Panooly; their military base. It was destroyed by Huzen Hagen and the rebels long ago. All the weapons and equipment were left behind by the few who tried to flee the bombardment. No one ever saw their home again. The Austarian government didn't even undertook a covert op to take all the bodies home.

„Okay Jake find some weapons and bring them back to our camp. Everybody will be most happy when they get a new rifle.” „Hell yeah! Lets find some more of those goofy grenades, our not-so-glorious army loves those Will!”

15 Minutes later they gathered more weapons and ammo than they could carry and headed off back to the town. Like many towns and villages in Holy Panooly it was built in the middle of the jungle virtually cut of from all contact of the outside world. The people in town all fought in the civil war against the government. Too bad they placed their bets on the wrong horse since their agressesion spawned a neo fascist regime which is still in control. The townspeople and villagers were tired of working flat to harvest the crops to feed the delirious, pompus upper class in the cities. Hatred spreads easily through the land where the strongest only survives.
The city... Who has ever been there? Randall? Miss Threadneedle? Will? Only 3 persons of a 20,000 citizen township. Town wasn't the right word actually. A scattered group of houses throughout a large valley.

20 minutes later John was walking in front when he saw the first hutts. No one was inside or busy in the trees looking for fruit. Where was everybody?
„Will come over here. There's something going on. Pick a weapon and load it.”
„Sure wh....” John wanted to speak but he couldn't. As they looked closer in the bamboo hutts they saw a family all brutally murdered. Machettes, gunshots... Arms and legs cut off and thrown into the fireplace. Eyes where pincushions, blood everywhere. „What the fuck happened here? What the fuck?” „Shut up John the murderers can still be around here somewhere. Let's go to townsquare” „Ok Will.”

As they walked on, the more heavily mutilated corpses they saw. Who could have comitted these horrible things? Insane cocain addicted people working for the cocain mob? The government? Maybe a new faction? Outsiders? When they passed the school all children where executed with a shot through the head. It was clear that the children were killed in sight of the mothers, since a lot of women where found there also. As the two looked at the second floor they saw blood streaming down the wall. The light brown bricks were colored red; the childrens faces were slammed through the windows. Several big pieces of glass were stuck in their faces and now and then a piece fell out, along with an eye or some skin. The stench of death was everywhere. On the townsquare there was a market going on. All the map lay in direction which looked like their tried to flee. All their bodies were riddled with bulletholes.

„We have to get the hell out of here!” „Yeah but where? Who can we trust? Shall we go to the nearest city?” „No John lets go to Mary, the florist who lives near the waterfall.” „Yeah good idea! Lets go”

The two men ran to the waterfall, it was a short walk and they were soon there. But Mary wasn't there. Where were her clothes and her jewels? She even left her computer turned on. She left in a hurry... Her telephone worked...

„Who do you gonna call Will?” „I'm calling someone who knows the HP resistance. I'm sure they can help. „I hope they will. Our previous civil war started exactly the same way.”

Luckily no one could foresee the bloody future that was about to come.

Common folk

After it became clear the government was behind the mindless slaughter the people in the south couldn't take it any longer. Although they never admit it, everyone knew it was a direct order from the minister of Security & Anti-Terrorism. Yes, the soldiers used indeed cocain just to make them feel good after killing 20,000 people... Everyone agreed: it was time to undertake some serious action against the hated government. Why? The reaons are manifold. Genocide against its own people, spreading hatred and agony throughout the land and outlawing more and more civil and political freedoms. People vanish daily from their houses at night.

Holy Panooly claims to be a caring nation but in fact, it's no better than a policestate. Even the UN thinks it's a democracy. It's time to show the world all the nasty details about our beloved homeland. A few weeks later, the councils of several smaller districts and mayors of towns gathered around in a secret meeting. They decided not to fight the government, since it would result in even more bloodshed. It was indeed a cunning plan and the nations in the Fruit Islands Archipelago would be surely aid Holy Panooly. Our plan was to send a group of 5 men under the cloack of night to coast and to board a ship to a nation where people listen to us. Who will it be? Someone asked. I'm thinking of either Credonia or Sarzonia... Perhaps the Austar Union. Sarzonia is at war a person in the back whispered. No one knew about war... Who fights Sarzonia? Is it our government? Huzen Hagen? perhaps GaalSien? No, it was Cam III. Cam III? Didn't he helped the government during our last civil war? The men and women in the hall stared at their papers and were silent. That's what we're going to do. We're going to send to Credonia, Jeruselem and Austar Union a group of 5 messengers to tell them about what happens here in Holy Panooly.

The stage is set for a very nasty suprise for our government.

He was waiting patiently for an answer but it never came. The man behind the radio stood up and walked to Freddie's room. When he opened the door, only a bed a table and 2 chairs and a closet were all that was left behind.
No one noticed, Freddie left the town and went to the city of Sine in hopes of escaping the butchery. The radio operator gladly thanked Grenval for their help, not knowing they'd walk right into a trap...

Deep within the Panooly Jungle a regiment of Sargeant Keller was patrolling alongside the Great Fish River. As they marched on through the swamps and trying to avoid all the poisonous insects and animals who wander around looking for shades Sgt Keller noticed a few what appeared to be humans, running towards a small hunting lodge near the riverbank.

Sir, what's going on over there? Sgt Keller got binoculars and looked at the other side of the river. It appears to be some individuals running around that hut The soldiers moved on but they didn't knew there was a big illegal weapons trade going on, supplying rebels and other anti-government groups with stolen weapons in return for diamonds.

Our government thanks you for your much-needed support. Morale has gone down when the army was ordered of cleaning up some trouble spots. But we haven't heard any alarming things lately so I guess it's over now.

SECRET IC: Too bad the last piece of the message is far from the truth. Today 23 soldiers have been killed in a firefight with rebel forces.

Near the Great Sumerian Desert coast a band of men were packing their bags and franticly searching for equipment they need to take with them. Maps, compass, clothes, food and drinks... The sun was rising and if they didn't arrive at the oasis were the caravan would leave for the 'End of the World' they would surely die.

The End of the World was a small harbour with a few houses and a church. Nothing more nothing less. Hardly anyone ever came there and the place is a near legendary location, the most southern city in the Fruit Islands Archipelago.

Are we ready to go? The 15 men walked through the soft sand under the burning heat of the sun. It was 7AM and it was already as hot as the hottest stove in the world. As they walked on, their water supply dwindled and temptation to grab the bottle slowly overtakes them. But their fate in rescuing the people at home kept them from doing that.

After a long walk through the endless desert they slowly started to realize why all the enemies from Holy Panooly never ventured near here. It looks like the best place to land your troops... Oh Lord, what I read about hell and its demons; it has to be almost heaven there compared to this godforsaken place. Wherever you look there's only sand. Sand everywhere. The oasis is still 6 hours from here.

4 hours later...

We're beginning to hear the sea from here. Although it remains unseen we can hear the waves. Our group has found a crashed airplane 1 hour ago. All the corpses were mummified, even the eyes. We took the oppertunity to loot the jet as it was filled with the rich people we hate. Someone I travel with is even a communist. When he started quoting Das Kapital from Karl Marx I decided that communism or socialism isn't the answer. My hate runs deeper against communist scum...

We have finally arrived at the oasis. A small pool and a few palm trees marked the most important hub of the desert. We have to wait until the caravan arrives.

The man gives the radio operator the coordinates and he transmits them to Camewot.

All we can do now is to wait until we know when the goods arrive.

Drop the cargo near the banks of the Great Fish River, 100 miles from Callisto. Look for a huge waterfall. There we shall wait for the airplanes.

All right sir, message is underway.

And so it happened, when the night was the darkest, one cargo-drop plane and one stealth figher flew into Holy Panooly territory.
The government knew that if the planes were caught or shot, and they were identified as Camewottian planes, war was under way.


The two planes reached the waterfall, surprisingly nobody caught them, it could happen on the way back, who knows.

The cargo dropped its load, nobody knew if it landed softly or was destroyed by a hard landing but the pilots dident care, they wanted to go home.

The planes dropped their cargo and flew off again, back to Camewot.

As the patriots were launched the first 4 fake missiles came into sight of the Camewottian airplanes. It should be over in a few minutes...

Private, activate our radio disturbing frequency. No one will be able to hear them from now.

Holy shit, god stand by me, the Government will take care of me!

The stealth fighter fired at the missiles, hoping to destroy them, while the cargo flew like hell to get out of Holy Panooly.

As the first 4 missiles exploded in a cloud of sand near the planes, it was too late. The engines were overheating and were catching fire, the last thing the pilots saw was the missile flying directly into their cockpit. When their saw the unforgiving face on the tip of the missile, their realized their life was over.
The explosion was not destroying the whole plane, it was enough to let it fall from the sky. And eventually the cargoplane crashed in the rainforest.

The stealthfighter managed to outsmart the sand missiles but when he flew low to avoid the patriots, he hit a fir tree and he crashed like his compagnion.

News of the troubles in Holy Panooly soon reached Sevaris.

After the Holy Panooly government informing the Camewottian government of this, the Defence Minister gave a speech

Dear Camewottians and the Holy Panooly Government, I am here to announce to you that the two planes shot in Holy Panooly yesterday got there without permission from the Camewottian Government.

We accept your apologies. It's alright now, things like this happen. We send our condolences and some money to the families to ease their sorrow. What we do like to know is this: why were they tresspassing my airspace?

SECRET IC: In the northern rainforest a massive search operation begun for the remains of the cargoplane and stealthfighter. 2 weeks later all that's left of the planes was found, 70 miles from each other. This was quite strange since their transmission was to protect the cargoplane's secret cargo. A few documents were found though and nothing was highly classified. We will investigate our findings and we shall release them tomorrow in the President's speech.

Camewottian Government for Rebels STOP Need report from cargo dropping STOP Need anything more? STOP

Camewot is contacting us again, do we need anything from them?

Well, we have all the supplies we need now. And I heard their planes were taken down last night. We shouldn't put the lives of those pilots at the stake here.

I'll say to them if we need something, we'll ask for it. Don't take the risk of contacting us. The SS is listening.

Ivan Basso stood in front of the Camewottian embassy in Holy Panooly.
He thaught about the time he would be spending here, not long....
His mission was clearly stated by Follin Prowell, the Camewottian Defence Minister, find the rebels !

At night, he packed his bags, he went to work the next morning and gave one final transmission to the Camewottian Government:

When he came home that night he ate and drank alot, there would be not much time for that the coming weeks.
He kissed his cat goodbye while dropping them off at the embassy, the Camewottian workers would find Sparkles in the morning and take care of him.

The militia of farmers, peasants and other workers stormed the ill-equipped HP outpost, yelling insults and screaming like vikings who went beserk. The fighting was short but fierce. The outpost was razed to the ground and the soldiers there were killed or joined the rebels. Soon it was just one of the many ruins in the jungle not to be seen until someone discovers it again.

For some time no one has heard anything from Camewot until one day when somebody dropped from the sky near the place were Camewot dropped its weapons for the rebels.

Panooly City, today...

Citizens of Holy Panooly rejoice!

After the strange incident involving 2 airplanes from Camewot we have came to the conclusion that they have secretly supporting the rebels. From the documents which only parts have been found we can make up that they have dropped substantial amounts of weaponry and explosives. This is unacceptable. The other airplane was a stealthfighter F117 armed with missiles. The cargo plane didn't carried any supplies for their embassy since it was completely empty. This will not change our decision to let Camewot have an embassy on HP soil.

What do you want to eat? We have juicy larvae, thick ones... Eh some fungi and roots. We don't have very much to eat but it's very healthy. And it's fresh.

The rebels smiled as they ate the larves. They were also enjoying some kind starch paste. The water they drank came straight from the branches of trees.
Ivan thought: how can these people live inside a country like this? It's only a jungle... I wish I was never sent on this mission but these people need our help. Their houses are built in trees, their roofs are made of leaves, the walls are made of bamboo... But strangely, these people seemed happy. Unaffected by today's stressed society living a quiet life. Well, not very quiet in fact since they were fighting an oppressive fascist regime.

The man stood up, took his pedang (a special kind of machete) and took Ivan into the forest.

As they moved on they walked through a cleared piece of land in the jungle. The crops were growing in abundance and some women were harvesting corn.

Judd threw both things on the ground and gave Ivan a .303 rifle and an ordinary revolver. From a basket, he grabbed some bullets and put them in a bag.

Well, you're starting to look better now. A hat and there you are.

That's against the malaria mosquitoes. And your clothes need to be light and comfortable. When you're shot, you'll die of gangrene and other bacteria within a few hours. Oh and here's your machete.

See that? Judd pointed his gun to some walls, crumbling from all the vines covering it. This was the biggest concentration camp once. On a daily basis 12.000 people were gassed.

Judd and Ivan walked around the compoud and stopped at the huge gasschambers. The doors were still locked. Inside you could clearly see the piles of bones.

The guards left in such a hurry that they even left the corpses inside the gaschamber. The poisonous dust has settles but it still isn't safe to go in. If you can open the doors that is. See those giant smokestacks? The story goes they dropped lots of bodies in there just to get rid of them.

Ivan was completely stunned of all this. How can a government do this to its own people? He has seen the pictures of the nazi deathcamps but these... were even more scarier. The jungle, the moist atmosphere... The complete silence. It was if you were on a borderplain, between death and alive, surreal and real. As they moved Judd showed Ivan the barracks were the prisoners 'lived'. There weren't even beds for the unlucky people there.

Ivan couldn't take it anymore when he heard how the same person responsible for the Children camps (12 in total) was still in charge of Special Affairs. Ivan. appalled as he was, knew this name. Johan Leighmar. It was almost the name of a demon. A wicket man of unprecedented cruelty. During the invasion of British Communists and Xadawiland he had his fair share of blood on his hands but this was too much for Ivan. Judd took him back to the village.

Ivan arrived at the camp were everyone seemed to be in a good mood...

Judd, when are we attacking something again?

Bad news friend, I've heard the military has started to drive a wedge between the biggest camps around. Ours and one to the east. If they succede than they have the advantage. We must not let that happen.

When a pigeon flew out the Camewot embassy people of the secret service were 1 block away trying to lure the pigeons in a trap with birdseed and other stuff. When one was caught it was rushed back to the SS hideout.
