The Imperium has, in its two most recent wars, lost forces to nuclear weapons. The first time it happened we did not retaliate in kind because those responsible were supposed to be our allies and we also feared turning the war into an all-out nuclear exchange, three divisions were lost almost at once then and there now sits a memorial in Dublin to their memory. The second time was not so devastating, a mere 1.5 kiloton bomb destroyed a battalion of tanks and we responded by launching four nuclear-tipped cruise missiles at the air base where the attack started from, if we had done what was demanded by the public Corrheia would now be so much glass.
However, the Imperium and its people grow weary of such restraint in the face of flippant genocide. No more will we tolerate a single Imperial soldier lost to a nuclear weapons or their after effects. Henceforth, any nation that uses nuclear weapons against Imperial forces deployed at home or abroad will be reduced to its component atomic particles. Make no mistake about it, our response will be like a gifted surgeon wielding a sledgehammer, the pain will be widespread but the result specific, the complete and utter destruction of any nation who dares use such weapons against the Imperium.
So it has been declared and so it shall be.
