Today marks the 40th year Doujin has been under an isolationist period. Doujin has quietly severed ties to all nations (simply by not responding and abandoning our embassy's unnoticed and locked tight. To date, Doujin has worked to increase it's internal industry capacity and it's naval warship numbers. There is a significant number of Doujin's in the Doujin Fleet, along with an almost complete restructure of the Doujin Military. No longer is there an official Army, and the Air Force is essentially the Naval fighters off of our carriers. Pay wage for the average soldier has increased from $35,000 to $40,000 Imperial Marks, and .. well the rest is classified.

After 40 years, Doujin emerges back into the world scene fully prepared to take on whomever opposes it. [RAWR!]

The Liberate government applauds the Doujini determination and benchmark self-reliance. Let there be many more like you.

"Doujin was isolationist?" the High Chancellor was heard to say after reading a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Doujin's reentry to the world stage.

"Doujin? With the large ships?" said the Emperor upon news of this reached his ears.
"Yes."
"Ah. Are we on their bad list?"
"I don't think so, sir."
"Good. Nothing really to do, then. On second thought, tell Admiral Nakamoto. See if she wants to try to adjust the naval budget."
"I will, sir."
"Dismissed."

"Hmmm...bigger navy?" Said President Tex V to his National Security aides, "Does this even effect us?"

"No sir."

"Ok."

Doujin,
We have been waiting untill the International System (OOC: The Forum) got back online to notify you of one of our largest achivments. Durring your leave, and about a few years (OOC: Roughly 16 Days) we have been working and designning the largest aircraft carrier in existance. Code Named Libertant, the Liberator Class Ultra Heavy Aircraft Carrier was designned to give the Green Navy (OOC: Truitt's Navy) the boost it needed, due to our island nation and weak navy, it just didn't make since.

Having international support (OOC: Mainly regional support and aid) we were able to design, and produce one, although it is not fitted for combat, and not even regestered, the TNS Liberator is one step torwards Truitt and her great jump into power (OOC: Although my government is Commarchy (Say 40% left, 40% Right, and 10% Middle Winged) of the naval technology race.

We ask to look over our designs and see if you notice any major flaws and so on. This design would also bring great interest to anyone reading the informational document sent by this message.

Chellis, until things are cleared up between you and Scandavian States I cannot fulfill that order.

why is doujin avoiding the international scene?

To fully revamp our ability to last on our own without depending on foreign nations - and to fully restructure our Navy and completely phase out all Land and Air divisions of the military.

but isnt this move just depriving doujin of its capabilities?, and doesnt every nation need a full defense?. i personally believe doujin is weakening itself far too much with this move. You should be wary of your actions sir....

Soon, Doujin will be forming a pact with two other nations - one will take care of all air force needs and the other will take care of all ground forces needs - and Doujin will take care of all Naval needs.

And besides, we still have Naval personnel running the multi-trillion dollar homeland defense network and Doujin is an island/continent.. so :)

but sir, you would most certainly need a seperate airforce if you fill a continent, and i know a few corporations that could fill that need.

Doujin's Navy currently is keeping Doujin skies safe, along with the extensive multi-trillion dollar defense network :)

President Zwimbala of Pacific Northwesteria was shocked. "Do you mean to tell me that Doujin is withdrawing from the Organization of Maritime Powers?! They were integral in its founding! I can respect a decision to withdraw into one's shell to gain strength for a few years, but then abandoning your allies when you come back? There has to be some sort of misunderstanding..."

Following instructions from the Office of the High Chancellor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister Nantong, placed a call to his counterpart in the Doujinishi government. After being connected, Nantong made the following comments/questions:

"The Veritasean government is greatly interested in this reentry of Doujin to the world stage and wishes to express its well wishes for a bright Doujinishi future. However, I have been instructed to ask if Doujin will be resuming friendly relations with its former allies or if the severing of ties will be permanent. It is our sincere hope that this move will have only been temporary seeing as how the lack of relations between two nations with some of the largest navies in the world could well destabilize the global political climate. The people and government of Unum Veritas harbors no ill-feelings towards that of Doujin and we wish for friendly and open relations; however, we will have little choice but to be suspicious of any nation suddenly cutting ties with us, and even more so if that nation has a navy comparable to our own, as does Doujin."

OOC: There is no link to the armor, it is only in my emails between me and now 'friends' at Ames Laboratory. And no, I'm not releasing the information out to anyone yet.

OOC: Ames Laboratory is located at the University of Iowa, but it is part of the US Department of Energy - it is not a material that has been made but something I have been discussing with a couple people that are employed there. I'll tell you more about it later, SS.

Does this mean you'll look at the battleship proposal I sent you a month or so ago?
