The Board of Statistics have just released information on the nations Illegal Drug Sales. These are the following statistics
Each Week - 5,000 people die due to drug related causes
Each Month - 20,000 people die due to drug related causes
Each Year - 240,000 people die due to drug related causes
Each Week a tremendous US$213.1 Million are spent by the 850,000 or so drug users. This is a twenty seven percent increase since 2001 where only 150,000 people were killed by drugs. We need help on the situation!!!
The Government has just spent US$1.2 Billion on anti-drug programs. What else can we do?
Finally the main drugs that ar used are cocaine, LSD, Weed, Marijunna, Pot and Cigarettes which are mostly taken by underage people.

Hmmm....That is ALOT of people. So you have negative birth/death ratio i imagine?

OOC:"Weed", "Marijuana" and "Pot" are all the same things.

IC: Legalize weed since it is all-natural, but have tough regulations. Like to not operate heavy machinary. LSD, cocaine and cigarettes should all be illegal.

For "smokes" aka cigarettes, there is a good chance that you could have a mob problem with them making ALOT of money off the banning of smokes. Just like they made ALOT of money when alcohol was banned in the USA.

So crack down VERY hard on organized crime. LSD and cocaine are sold by corner dealers. The top of the food chain usually ends with someone VERY important.

You mignht be getting it mostlty imported, so crack down via national guard, or whatever type of boarder service you have. Also check for corruption in your government.

See if anyone is looking the other way on these situations. I rarely give adice/assist, but i make exceptions;)

EIther that, or force them to obey. Fear is your friend. Ask it for a favour once in a while.

Nah, I prefer to let them die or send them on a 60 year "rehabilitation" course in the army, I prefer to use them as cheap labour though.

Yes, I was going to to say, better to keep them alive and make use out of them, than let them die. After all, if all the fools of our societies died, the intellectuals would have to take over the menial jobs. And this would be most unfortunate.

There is another option of course, a new approach to the scourge of illegal drugs, and that's to change the laws regarding illegal drugs. Simply put, MAKE ALL DRUGS LEGAL- and very soon thereafter, there won't be any further trouble regarding 'illegal' drugs.
