We have always been at war with the rebel outposts. :sniper:

News Release: National News Network:

First off, we here would like to send our well wishes to Prince Erik, our future ruler.

The total media blackout of ongoing war, in the six rebel outposts in the western half of the ITD island chain, has been quite successful. The empire, however, has made a press release detailing the ongoing effort of empire forces. The following is the report:

To the national media:
While we cannot give any offial numbers regarding casualties or any idea of our current location, we have been authorized to disclose that we have been quite successful in breaking the ranks of enemy forces. You will report to the general public that all is well, and that the war will be over very soon, with the empire being victorious.
The Empire Guard

There you have it folks, all is well.

*Explosion rocks the building and smoke fills the room*
*A voice is heard over the explosions and what sounds like gunfire.*

"All empire forces are to surrender to the rebel guard. Drop your guns and weapons. We are here to liberate you from empire scum. Surrender to the rebel guard, we will liberate you."

*The voice went on and on like this, there was little choice but to surrender... or face execution. Hiding underneath a desk was the crouched security guard, Danny Reck. He had only a sidearm pistol... this was going to be tricky. The empire must be alarmed.*

"Ok", thought Danny, "Let's check the situation. Armed men, apparently rebels, are attacking the newsroom. The newsroom located in the capital city of what was supposed to be a secure nation... perfect."

*gunfire flies overhead. Danny suddenly sees the figure of the coffee boy, James, fall to the ground. He had picked up a dead security guards rifle, and he was killed for it.*

"Stupid kid, the rifle is broken... dented because of the explosion."

Enemy1: "Yazzi, come check this out. This kid I shot, hes just a coffee boy. Hey coffee boy (pokes at the body with the rifle) get me some decaf."
Yazzi: "Come on, man... the LT is moving on. We have to establish satellite linkup. The General is gonna want to know our progress."

"Bastards" thought Danny "I must prevent them getting a message out, this general, who ever he is, must be stopped, I guess its up to us. (mocking voice) want to be a hero, join internal securities."

*Danny crawls off, following the two soldiers toward the communications room, being sure to lay low and not be seen by the two soldiers or any of their friends. Luckily the comm room is pretty isolated. The station was poorly designed and the comm room had to be close to the satellite dish, underneath it, to be precise.*

Yazzi: "I dont know why we get these duties. Everytime we invade a building, they send us to take the comm room. I hate communicating!!!"
Soldier1: "You are good with computers, I take control of the satellite linkup."
Yazzi: "No you don't, I do both... I always do both... Ive never seen you do anything. You always sit their and aim a gun at the door, like some guy is going to come along and kil..."

*Yazzi's rant is interrupted by a bullet to the head, afterwhich the other soldier is given the same prize.*

"Im not much for conversation, so I cut the bs. Hope you guys dont mind, just like James probably didnt mind" said Danny.

*Danny runs into the comm room and sends out an emergency message to all government nets.*

Sector 12B News Network under attack, send backup. Rebel forces, let by some LT. Heard word of a general. Send help. All alone. Please, send help!

Location: Throne Room of the ITD Empire
Time: 10 minutes post attack

*A man runs into the room, which contains only a few people. Namely the Emperor, his son and the royal advisors. The man is out of breathe, yet acts as if a very important message has arrived*

Man: "Your Majesty, an important telegram has arrived... a distress signal."

Emperor: "From where?"

Man: "...<pause> The News Network"

*a silence fills the room*

Prince Erik: "The war has reached the capital, they must have captured the 6 outposts"

Man: "The message was sent using an old encryption system which no other nation has knowledge of. The encryption was that of the 9th tribe security forces. He sent a scattered, almost frantic message of distress. He mentioned a rebel general."

Prince Erik: "They have formed military ranks? Let them make their army, it shall be crushed"

Man: "He then sent a second message, less frantic. He had freed fellow security guards, but was finding weapons requisition to be difficult. He has requested that a rescue team be brought in. He has asked for assistance."

*a red light begins to flash and a siren sounds*

Security #1: "Encoded video message, source unknown. The video seems to a timed response"

*A video screen lights up, only to display a shadowed figure standing... to shadowed to make any i.d.*

Video: ~Greetings, Emperor Lazarus of the 9th tribe. You may have noticed that our forces have taken over your television network and by doing so, we have taken control of all of your communication satelites. You are at out mercy, it seems. You may proceed in any manner you find necessary, but be warned, I control your communications, therefore I can access and monitor all camera and observance equipment around you. No secret will pass by me.~

Emperor: "He doesnt know that our man is up their controlling the communications. We can use this knowledge toward our advantage. Dispatch Empire Guard Unit #1"

Prince Erik: "Death cometh to those who oppose us."

[security measures: on]

Your support is much appreciated. Fortunately, our security measures have protected the majority of the city from further violence. But outside the capital... the situation is somewhat tricky. We have 6 rebel outposts, 2 of which have been neutralized... but 4 still pose threats to the well being of the empire. We have been able to hold off larger enemy offenses with limited casualties, but we have been unable to completely destroy the rebel outposts. As far as we can tell, the rebels are coming from an outside source, perhaps an unhappy enemy... all we have to go by is some soldiers word, "the general" which could stand for any number of current generals... But only one of these generals stands out. The newly formed 8th tribe, the former ruling caste of this nation has arisen as the newly formed nation Rebel Resistance [formerly associated with the terrist group Hades Cluster, which was destroyed in a massive nuclear attack]. However we have no proof of such activities.

I believe we can successfully control 3 outposts, if 1 is taken or controlled. So, if you could neutralize or otherwise take 1 outpost off our backs, we would be very thankful. Please dont use nuclear weapons, and if bio or chemical weapons are necessary, make the radius small.

Thanks

Location: News Network Comm Room

~stay put, lay low and keep the communications room under your control. the empire is sending reinforcements. they should get there very soon.~

The radio reply was a small comfort to Danny, he just had his entire life turned upside down. Today was supposed to be his day off, but his boss offered overtime because of yesterdays increase in the national alert level.

"F***in rebels" Danny said as he dragged the two soldiers into the comm room and locked the door behind him. "Let's see what we can find"

All in all he was able to recover a two hand guns and a rifle. They had full ammunition. Then Danny made a terrible discovery, he looked at the shoulder bands of the soldiers and discovered that the ID patches belonged to ITD soldiers, soldiers posted in the 6 outposts.

"These uniforms are stolen." he thought "they stole them right off the back of a dead rural soldier. These havent earned the right to wear these uniforms"

Danny began to remove their uniforms, but he discovered another interesting tidbit. They had the insignia of the 8th tribe tattooed on their shoulders. The 8th tribe was the ruling government before Emperor Lazarus had taken control... we he had actually retaken the land which rightfully belonged to the 9th tribe. Danny was a member of the 9th tribe, the only people allowed to have positions of military authority, police or security... a safety precaution if the 8th tribe or any tribe tried to take the nation by force. Other tribes are forbidden to leard self defense, or even own weapons. Danny reached for the microphone, which was his only way of reaching the outside world.

"Network Comm Room here, I have some interesting news. The rebels are from the 6 outposts, they are wearing refitted ITD uniforms, and get this: They are members of the 8th tribe."

~Roger that, comm room. We kinda expected this. As we said before, reinforcements are on the way, but we need some information. Do you have any idea on the number of soldiers at the facility?~

"No, but the comm room has security camera's in every room of the building, so it shouldnt be too hard to figure out. All I need is some time."

~Get back to us asap~

Danny knew a little about computers, but he needed to do this quickly. He couldn't tip off the enemy to his location; moving camera's can do exatly that. So he went from room to room on the security system. every room had at least 5 soldiers posted, but the hostage room had 15... 15 guarding 45. Once he was finished he totaled the tally at 65 soldiers, and one officer.

"He must have been the LT," thought Danny "He's one ugly son of a snake."

"65 and an officer, squads of 5. 15 guarding the hostages. I've killed two, and others may have died in the original blast"

~Roger, comm room. Standby for further instructions.~

Just then a voice came from the direction of the two soldier's gear. Danny walked over and picked up a radio.

>Comm room, this is central base, respond<

Danny tried his best impression of Yazzi.

"Central base, this is comm room. We are fine up here, all is going well"

>so we are connected with the general?<

"Almost, just a little more work."

>need any assistance?<

"Nope, we are fine... just fine. Tell the LT that we will be connected to homebase any minute"

>Eagles Nest, its called eagles nest<

"Pardon?"

>Who is this<

Danny went silent, his cover was blown.

>We are coming up there.<

Danny's life suddenly becomes more interesting.

To those nations who have offered assitance:
Greetings! Rebel forces are beginning to come out of the woodwork. The capital is very well protected, but their total number are bound to overwhelm the rural police. ITD has issued military rule. General Cable, ITD 1st Army, has diverted all of his units toward the city center, but he wont be able to arrive for another day. In the mean time, any help would be appreciated.

Now the 1 rebel outpost in question has its center in a splinter nation called Rebel Resistance (ooc, yes its a ns nation). They declared themselves independent, but have yet to establish any allies. They have over 100 million civilians, so i would put their total military at 50000 or more, probably more because they seem to be winning sympathy from other parts of the empire. Many people were upset that I declared the land an Empire and disbanded the national council.

My 2nd army is busy making a military containment zone 50 miles wide around the six outposts, so they have very few units they can spare. They are also experiencing small arms fire at night, probably just upset civilians.

As I said earlier, the 1st army is splitting into two groups. The largest is headed toward the ongoing battlefront, with the remaining headed toward the capital, though I doubt we shall need them.

To cut the B.S. the best course of action to take, if you wish to assist me, would be to attack the remaining outposts. Focus on the central outpost, as it contains the most enemy units. Be warned that these outposts were designed to be fortresses for battles. They are well stocked and have self defense capability. Fortunately all of their first strike weaponry have been disabled, as they have no launch codes. This is also a problem. The news network has an access port to the military computers, as the military runs the satellite and communications of the nation. They do have the news structure captured, but we are sending in several SF units of our own to pacificy the situation and rescue an security agent who is trapped in the communications center. If the rebels are able to log into the military computers, they can obtain launch codes and thus become a nuclear power.

So I will try to eleminate the rebel forces in the capital while your forces assist my 1st and 2nd Army at destroying the rebel presence in the outposts.

Danny had to act fast, those soldiers were going to be here very quick. The only idea Danny could come up with, and he doubted this would work, would be to put on a rebel uniform and try to pass himself off as a soldier.

"...this wont work" Danny thought to himself "Im only one soldier... what about the other guy, and what about the satelite hookup; no, the only way this was going to pan out is if I lure them in and kill them, kill them before they realize that they've walked into."

Danny could hear them walking up the cooridor, they were sure to see the blood splatters on the floor, at least that would occupy their minds while he prepares his trap. One soldier then knocks on the door and requests entry.

"One moment, we have the entrance locked up pretty good. Just a sec" Danny said in his Yazzi impression, which lacked in efficiency.

"OPEN UP!" yelled the soldier

"Yea, yea. Hold your horses." Danny responded.

Danny opened the door, only slightly so that the open door wouldnt expose the dead body laying to the side of the door. The soldiers eyes Danny suspiciously, but didnt make any insinuation that they know him to be an enemy. This was a relief to Danny, he was afraid he would have to kill them at the door stop. The soldiers were wearing similar uniforms, but one had a visibly taller build, which the uniform barely accomidated. The other soldier was chewing gum, contraband in even the 8th tribe forces of old. Even worse he was chewing with his mouth open. He was chewing with his entire head, for this Danny would kill them.

"Well?" said Danny, half expecting the soldiers to turn around.

"Open the door, completely." the taller soldier snarled

"Spit out that gum, soldier" Danny barked.

"Screw you, I outrank you. Open the damn door." the gum-chewer sneered.

The soldier was right, Danny looked at his uniform, he was wearing a privates uniform. This didnt matter much, they would both fall to his gun any time now. Danny slowly opened the door with his foot, while cocking his pistol behind his back. The last thing the soldiers would see would be Danny's pistol and two corpses lying on the ground. The two shots werent loud, but Danny knew his cover was probably blown. They were probably expected.

"You know, that was really annoying. Chewing gum can be a real social setback. You should really try to be more polite. Your entire head went up and down, it was disgusting. Ah well, life goes on." Danny said

Danny then began to take their gear off. They were also 8th tribe members. Where were they getting these tattoo's. Danny then walked over to the radio.

"HQ?"

~Yea?~

-Aboard a BlackHawk helicopter-

Corporal James MacGran looked down at the ground below. “Such a beautiful country”
he thought, “to bad there has to be a war going on down there.” Corporal MacGran was
suddenly taking out of his daydream as a voice came in to his headset.

“10 minutes till we reach the LZ.” said the pilot.

“Okay listen up,” shouted Sergeant Eric Palody, “We all have been briefed but I’m going
over one more time. When we reach the LZ we will set up a perimeter to make sure the
rest of the division can get in safely. Keep your eyes open though, we are going into a
hostile area and we are likely to be fired upon. Just remember your training and you’ll
stay alive.”

“Easy enough” thought MacGran.

“2 minutes!” said the pilot

“Alright everyone, lock and load!” shouted Palody

-Landing Zone for the 1st Stormtrooper Division, Echo Company-

“What a mess!” shouted Corporal MacGran. The landing had been all messed up when
one of the BlackHawks took a direct hit from an RPG sending it crashing within 20 yards
of the rebels. That caused the rest of Echo Company to hurry the landed so they could
rescue the soldiers in the BlackHawk. With the hurried landing and with the soldiers
under heavy fire everything went into total chaos. It took about 5 minutes for the soldiers
to get where they were suppose to be, but by then the rebels were within 10 yards of the
BlackHawk. “Poor guys are gonna get captured” MacGran muttered to himself. He heard
a sound by him to see his buddy Private First Class Darren Ophinite take cover near
MacGran.

“I don’t think this went as planned” PFC Ophinite said.

“I know it didn’t” replied MacGran. Suddenly a voice came in through MacGran’s
headset

“Corporal, you and Ophinite fire on where that machine gun seems to be coming from”
Order Sergeant Palody.

“Yes sir!” shouted Ophinite and MacGran together. MacGran turned around and started
to shoot where it seemed the machine gun fire was coming from, Ophinite did the same.
Suddenly the ground in front of MacGran started to be ripped up from bullets. MacGran
froze with terror, then he heard what sounded sorta like a thud.

“Oh my god.....” whispered Ophinite

MacGran turned to face him, “What’s wrong?” Shouted MacGran.

“Them rebels shot me” with that Private First Class Darren Ophinite fell forward against
the dirt and MacGran could see the bullet hole that had passed through Ophinite’s chest
and through his back.

-Echo Company’s Landing Zone 3 hours later-

Corporal MacGran was sitting in his foxhole, the rest of the division had landed along
with their armor. Some Special Forces soldiers were preparing to go in search of the 14
soldiers in the BlawkHawk, they were all reported as POWs. The total casulity count has
been 1 KIA and 13 seriously wounded. But even though there was so much activity going
on MacGran didn’t seem to notice any of it. He was thinking about Ophinite, his best
friend since he joined the Zarithian Stormtroopers. He could hardly believe that Ophinite
was going home....in a casket.

“I’m sorry about Ophinite” said Sergeant Palody quietly.

“So am I” replied MacGran.

“Our sqaud has been ordered to move up the line to expand the perimeter” said Sgt.
Palody. With that he left. MacGran put on his helmet and reloaded his M-16. He was
gonna make them poor rebels regret ever killing Private First Class Darren Ophinite even
if it meant being killed himself.

[Three hours the rebel forces were killed in the comm room by Securit Officer Danny]

"This is soooo stupid. Im going to get my butt fried for sure." Danny thought as he crawled through a vent duct toward the area that, by his best guess, the rebel officer has taken post.

The vents were amazingly clean, perhaps the cleaning machines were still active. Danny could go into the ventelation shaft because he had disables comm room access to government computers. The only way these rebels could get them now would be if they fought themselves throught 1500 trained military personnel, all guarding the government computer system. That was, perhaps, Danny's best decision up to this point.

Danny reached the area which he knew to be right over the rebel command. Just as he imagined, the soldiers were making human shields out of the hostages. They intended on taking everyone they could. Danny had brought a rifle equiped with a scope. He had taken the weapon from the small gum chewer he had killed earlier.

From his best guess, the leader must have been the one looking at a layout of the building. He had sandy blonde hair and was only medium height. Danny lined up his rifle, took aim and shot.

BAM!

The soldiers went nuts, their leader fell dead and Danny dropped three smoke grenades into the room.

"As good a time as any" sighed Danny. Danny dropped into the room, guns blazing. He killed every soldier in eyesight, wounding 3 civilians by mistake.

The smoke cleared and Danny counted his kills. 12 dead soldier and 1 dead officer. Fortunately there was only one entrance to this room, and of the two corridoors leading off the entrance, one led to a ITD ambush. The rebels were destroyed. The building was taken back.

I have ordered all forces advancing to protect the capital to revert back to the original route to the rebel outposts. Attached is a preliminary battle outline.
As can be seen, the two outposts already captured have been redded out. The wall seperating them from the other two have been covered in machine gun turrets and cannons, they are pounding the central outpost every hour.

The outward outpost is the most vulnerable because of its odd shape. The walls have a tendency to break if enough shell is fired at it. We are estimating that enemy soldiers arrive through an underground tunnel connecting to this outpost, our imaging satellites has not been able to spot it. Bombers should focus on this outpost, so that we can cut off soldiers from any hope of escape or reinforcements.

The two other outposts are used as storage, they contain unarmed nuclear weapons. I hope to catch these outposts without destroying them.

The first part of the 1st army arrived about 1 hour ago, they are to advance on the central outpost.

The battle begins.

The Emperor looked over the reply and immediately phoned the awaiting special forces detachment, which now became solely black forces. They were waiting in a C-17A Globemaster III, on the tarmac, gear ready for a HALO jump into the target area from 40,000 feet. The C-17 would be flying under the cover of night with its two escorts, a pair of F/A-22s. The aircraft lifted off under the cover of darkness and proceeded to the target at 500 knots, a very long journey.

When they finally arrived over the drop zone, the two teams of 8 men from Force Falcon, the 1st Black Operations Unit, jumped from the cargo hold of the C-17, falling forty thousand feet to the ground. They were fully equipped with weaponry and supplies. Their orders were simple, recon one of the outposts and destroy it! It was twenty-five kliks west of their drop position, a single day's hike.

OOC: Scoyle, dont you think its a bit quick to destroy everything the rebels have when your nation isnt even that powerful itself? Your Nation's population has little more then the rebels themselves! 157 million! How do you think youve done such a good job against a rebel empire of 100 Million when they've done such a bang-up job in screwing up the I.T.D.'s forces WHEN THEY ARE PROBOBLY MUCH BETTER EQUIPED THEN YOU!

So basically its like this:
The rebels are/were practially decimationg the ITD civilization, and when you come in, being probobly less powerful then the rebels, are destroying what the ITD's huge military and advanced, highly populated race cannot. I would say you are godmodding. You didnt even get the full intel on the situation, you dont know how well the structures are defended. For all you know there are probobly SAM (Surface to Air Missles) and artillery support for them.

YOU ARE GODDMODDING. FACE IT. DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS? THEN I SUGGEST YOU LEAVE.

OOC:In fact I would say ITD Has over 1 Billion Citizens, with you decimating the rebels and they cant? I dont think so. It just doesnt happen like that. Those towers are well defended, supplied and fresh troops are arriving from an unknown source constantly. They also have the advantages of knowing the terrain, and are fueled by the unquenchable desire to rebel. Its like the American Revolution in RL, They are heavily outumbered, but do have several advantages: the motivation, great leaders who actually know how to lead, they know the land and the terrain, and have and used guerrilla tactics. I suggest you stop being a damn n00b and try and work it out. And i almost forgot, what kind of letter to the defending rebels is "We are asking you to surrender. We feel it is nessesary to have your opinion so the bloodshed may end" WTF IS THAT!? Come on now you damn n00b. i say you start over and have other nations cooperate with you and take them out slowly like it should be., instead of goddmodding your way in!

How big did you say your Military was again? 12,000? up against roughly 50,000 heavily entrenched, well supplied and armed soldiers, who are being constantly refhresed with new troops from an unknown source. They have decimated a HUGE, Respectable nation, and they wouldnt do anything about it, and you think you can? No no no no no no. You cant. Your just not strong enough. The alliance of nations against the rebels will be stronger when reuniting. I think anyone coming in randomly and saying "i have just destroyed one outpost, the two others will be captured shortly" Thats just not fair. The Allies need to work together, find a plan, cut off the enemy's sources for fresh troops and supplies and THEN we can attack, probobly lay a long hard seige on one outpost at a time, hundreds of good men will die, but THATS whats real. Not this "well thanks for your offer but we're better then you even though your army is larger, betetr supplied and equiped and probobly has better technology, but we are killing them all. Killing them all dead." See that? You sound like an idiot.

From - Gen. Dwight Rommel

We have been back and have retreated to the central outpost. We shall now help out 3rd corp in getting the far right outpost. They all of a sudden had a massive amount of rebels and armed troops come from nowhere. We expect that the Big Red One will have to go and fight into the left outpost with the help of you and L....(I forgot his name - sorry) They are well intrenched we incountered an frightening enterence but as soon as we got towards the center we began to get picked of so we will have to attack the left outpost later.

Now the right outpost has been a battle measured in inches rather then feet. We shall be sending as I stated earlier the 1st corp to help in the battle of the right outpost.

We have completely demolished the farthest outpost. We have now began partrolling the supply line from the airport to the central outpost. We have begun construction of an airport just outside the central outpost. It shall be finished by the end of the day. We will have only small cargo aircraft bring it in because we are using a Scoylian Steel Sheets. They can hold a Fully loded Hurcules Cargo plane. But only every 10 minutes. Because we have to go out and make quick repairs.

And the last thing is we have 500,000 troops flying in from Baharr our ("Friendly - Nation") ally. Since I am fighting a small and useless force called Jmurh this will be a nice break. Message from Baharrian General. Jmurh is a small terriorist nation. Right now we have a non-agression treaty for peace talks.

General Dwight D. Rommel
Commander of the Scoylian - Baharrian Joint Army

P.S. They Scoylian - Baharrian Joint Army is susposed to be in Scoyle getting ready to attack Jmurh. But my navy can easily defeat them. I am a putting the Joint Army to a better use.

-----Secret Message-----

OCC - My cousin who controls Baharr is on Vacation so he told me I can do what ever I want with his nation until he gets back. He's gone for the rest of the summer. He had to leave just a few days ago.

The sixteen men landed safely, ten kliks west of the central outpost, currently the mainstay of the rebel force, and the only post remaining. It was still night, roughly 0300 local time, which gave them two and a half hours before dawn. They would have to act fast. Their goal, before dawn, was to get to a position overlooking the outpost from two hills situated north and southwest of the outpost. There, they could observe. Among their weapons, they carried a GPS locator, which would instantly get the coordinates of targets its laser beam contacted. They also had a laser designation system for aerial Paveway bombs.

Resistance was expected to be heavy and they were all equipped with suppressors on their weapons in order to reduce the noise their M4s, M21s, M24s, and MP5s made. They all carried five weapons, in addition to Claymores and grenades. They had a knife or two each, a sidearm, which for the most part was a USP, an MP5 tucked away in their packs, a secondary rifle, and a primary rifle. Most carried an M4 and a sniper rifle except for the heavy gunners who each carried one less rifle as their M249s or M60E3s were very heavy to be carried with another weapon.

Ten kliks was roughly an hours hike for them and they could then use the additional hour and a half to climb the two hills and get situated. All-in-all, they were looking at getting situated by 0500 with that extra half hour to spare.

They took off at high speed, vacating the drop zone. They were on their way to the last outpost to help put a complete pounding on the rebel forces. They had, at their disposal, numerous aircraft in the Layarteb Imperial Air Force that could be called in for a strike against the compound. It was a far journey for fighters and bombers but it was not an unnecessary journey.

They were situated at 0500, right on time. The rebel camp was buzzing with activity and patrols around the perimeter were being conducted constantly. Light armor and light anti-aircraft guns were emplaced. It looked as if the only missiles being employed against aircraft were MANPADs but there were several garages that could be holding SAM vehicles or heavy tanks. They had to find out what was in there!

ITD National News Network, News Broadcasts
The unauthorized entry of 65 enemy units into the news network building caused a quick and brutal response by ITDGF forces. All enemy units were killed at the site,

partially thanks to Securities Officer Danniel Reck, who will be honored in a public ceremony pending the end of hostilities in the rebel outposts, which should occur

any day now thanks to the heroic efforts of ITD and other Ally forces. Government forces performed a quick cleanup at the site allowed the news network to come

online just a few minutes ago.
ITD National News Network, End Broadcast

[Location: Emperor's Palace, Central Hive Structure, ITD Capital, Sector 12B]

"Emperor Lazarus, 1 enemy unit was not found. The entire building was placed on lockdown and every room scoured... the enemy was gone. Almost as if he had

vanished." said a royal advisior.

"And has he been spotted by security camera or patrols around the city?" responded the Emperor

"No"

*Alert, Alert. Unauthorized Entry Located: command level: Emperor's level*

The attack at the news station had not gone off as planned. Phillip Pearson had escaped the onslaught of the ITD forces by taking the other exit. His friends were

dead, he only had one job to perform... kill the emperor. He had sneaked through the city in the dead of night, his presence wasnt detected because he didnt take

the roads or alleys, traveled on the rooftops.

Entrance to the palace was the hard part. Avoiding the security was easy, many were busy at the news network building. Those who werent at the network building

were either sleeping or just unable to see him. Was probably the special forces fatigues he had on. They are rumored to blend with the environment, but there were

a few close calls. Entrance to the Emperor's floor was quick and painless. Advisors were coming and going, he just blended in with them.

Advisors were murmuring and soldiers were running around trying to secure the area, but it was too late.

"Emperor Lazarus?"

The Emperor looked up and stared at Phillip.

"Yes?" the he growled, angrily, for being interupted.

"Here is a gift from our dead women and children"

And Phillip shot the Emperor and killed him.

The next few seconds were full of gun fire. By the end, two soldiers were dead, the Emperor was also dead. Phillip had been killed by Erik, who snuck up behind him and slit his throat.

Erik was now Emperor.

OCC- Am I just completely shut out of this entire operation??????

The Divisions I have deployed (See Page 2) are centered on weaking Defenses on the
Centrel Outpost.

-CKZNN News Cast-

"There has been One soldier Killed in operations against rebel forces while there are still
14 POW's, the army is presuming them dead"

-Echo Company, Process of expanding the perimeter-

Corporal MacGran sat behind some log, there were bullets flying all around him as well
as explosions. He had been pinned down for about 10 minutes and he was remember how
this had happened. Echo Company had been ordered to try to expand the perimeter of the
Zarithian Sector so there would be more room. Well it seem like a walk in the woods for
Echo Company until they found a body hanging from a tree....the pilot of the shot down
BlackHawk. Well some sergeant orderd a PFC to go cut the body down, so the PFC
pulled out his knive cut the room hanging from the body then out of nowhere bullets and
bombs started to come. The poor PFC never made it back and was shot to death. Since
then Echo Company has been under heavy fire."Requesting reinforcements, we are facing
a well armed rebel force!" shouted Sergeant Palody into the radio.

"Negititve on that request" came the reply from the other end.

"Dammit!" shouted Sgt. Palody. A voice came into the headset, MacGran reconized it as
some Captain whose name he could never remember.

"Sgt. Palody, your squad needs to provide covering fire for 8th Squad. They are pinned
down about 10 yards from you're position. They have 3 wounded and one dead and are
under heavy fire. They must make it back to the line"

"You heard them men, covering fire" ordered Palody. MacGran turned around only to
meet bullets and bombs, he instanly ducked back down and saw much of his squad was
doing the same. "FIRE DAMMIT" shouted Palody. MacGran turned around again and
even though bullets were ripping up the ground all around him he still managed to fire off
a clip, weither it did any good he did not know.

"I'm hit" screamed some new guy who was here to take PFC Ophinites place. MacGran
look at where the kid was and saw that he indeed had been hit. The medic was already
there and MacGran could see the blood coming out of the kids shoulder.

"Sergeant" MacGran shouted

"What MacGran?" Sgt. Palody replied

"Think they could send us some armor?"

"Doubt it, the woods are too thick" Sgt. Palody said. MacGran turned around to see that
8th squad was pinned down again about 5 yards away and that one of the soldiers was
dragging some guy who must have been hit by a grenade or an RPG. MacGran hurried up
to lay down some covering fire cause he figured if that guy had the guts to go get his
squadmate then MacGran could atleast cover him. A voice came into his head set

"MacGran" It was Sgt. Palody.

"Yes sir?" MacGran replied

"Throw a smoke grenande out there" Sgt. Palody ordered

"Yes sir" MacGran grabbed a smoke grenade and threw it as far as he could, the yellow
smoke it gave off made the whole situation just more wierd. As MacGran was reloading
he saw some soldier dragging a wounded stormtrooper towards a log. The Stormtrooper
dragging the wounded guy suddenly had a rocket sticking out of his back, didn't exploded
but it did kill the stormtrooper.

"Echo Company, you've been ordered to fall back to the main perimeter." a voice said in
MacGran's headset

"You heard the man, fall back" shouted Sgt. Palody. The storm troopers were falling back
but to MacGran it looked more like an all out retreat. He didn't see one guy turn around
and fire and was surprised that none of the stormtroopers ran away in the battle.

-Zarithian Perimeter, 1 hour later-

MacGran was sitting behind some sandbags with the rest of his squad when Sgt. Palody
came over and said, "Well it turns out that there was 6 KIA, 7 if you want to include the
BlackHawk pilot, and 7 WIA. Echo Company's left flank took it pretty hard. That's where
four of the KIAs came from. The rebels fought off the Zarithian attempt to expand the
perimeter. Seems we have underestimated the rebels fighting ability. Air Force and Navy
are going to shell the area we fought in about an hour." With that, Sgt. Palody walked
away to find the company leader.

OCC

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT! How the H*ll can a nation with 157 million people have another 500,000 soldiers join the fight?! Your entire army shouldn't even be that big!! 100,000 soldiers should be in your army and that might be a bit to much too. Sorry but a nation of your size cannot have an army of over 500,000 without godmodding. Scoyle, you might not be godmodding in the RP but your army size is definatly gomodding. I know it says my army is 6 million...which I might just lower or leave for awhile. But my pop is over 1,360,000,000. Sorry, but I recommend you lower your army's size. Otherwise you are just another gomoder in my eyes. When I had a population of over 200 million my army's size was only about 400,000.

OCC, thank you for clarifing that. Back on topic

Scoyle, what Outpost is your soldiers currently operating on? If it is the center, please link up with my Stormtrooper and Armor divisions. But be wary of the rebels, they are much stronger then Zarathoft first believed. Zarathoft is planning an Armor invasion with Stormtroopers to support them. It is too dangerous to advance at the moment. Our soldiers can't even leave the perimeter without fear of being ambushed or sniped. We doubt that our Navy shelling and Air Force bombing is doing much good. 1) We don't have a clue on the location of rebel forces, they just seem to pop up out of nowhere. 2) Our intel has not been from reliable sorces. Our Special Forces Division is trying to provide us with more reliable intel but it is a tricky situation because we do not know where any camps might be. We only know of the main fortress witch would be to dangerous to attack at the moment. Zarathoft will remain on the Centrel Outpost until the rest of the allies plans attack.

-CKZNN News Report-

Two more stormtroopers got killed today, bringing the total confirmed KIA count to 10. Another stormtrooper is in critical condition and was helicoptored to a hospital bringing the wounded count to 21. A tank also got hit, luckly no one was inside or around the tank when it happened. Zarathoft plans on staying to fight the rebels until peace is restored.

-Zarithian Perimeter-

The ground was erupting all around MacGran as he was crouched next to a pile of sandbags. They had been under heavy shelling for the past 25 minutes and it did not seem to let up yet. He remember sitting on top of the sandbags when one of the tanks suddenly exploded wounding 3 soldiers in an armor unit. Then it came, just like a rain the ground was being ripped up everywhere. Atleast one guy in MacGran's squad was killed, perhaps more. The rebels had artillary, BIG artillery and they seemed to be dropping all of it right on his position. Suddenly MacGran felt himself being lifted into the air, he saw one of his squad mates laying on the ground, he was missing a leg. That's the last thing MacGran remembered as he suddenly hit the ground hard. After that he blacked out.

-Zarithian Sector, Medical Tent-

MacGran woke up with a horrible headache. He looked at his left arm to see a bandage wrapped around his bicept, it was red with blood....his blood.

"Hey, your awake Corporal" some cheerful Medic said. MacGran just groaned. "You nearly took at direct hit from a shell, them sandbags saved your life. You did take some shrapnal to your upper left arm but other then that you will be fine. Just really sore" This made MacGran groan again. The medic just smiled and walked away. About 5 minutes later Sgt. Palody came, he had bandages over his head.

"Glad to see you are okay MacGran. You were nearly blasted 10 feet in the air." Palody said.

"Hows the rest of the squad?" MacGran feebly muttured

"Not the greatest. The new kid is dead along with PFC Toric. Two others were wounded not including you, PFC Dosinaz took a bit of shrapnal to the side but should make a full recovery. PFC Joniz is missing his left leg and is going home."

"Poor guys. What about the rest of the division?" MacGran asked

"We took a lickin. 17 KIA and 34 guys are being sent home from wounds. But the division wants revenge. Gonna feel sorry to the next rebel unit that we find" Sgt. Palody said

A voice came through the speakers. "Attention soldiers. After the recent artillary attack on us, we are going to upgrade our defenses cause we are likely to have more artillary attacks like today. Your company leaders will breif you in exactly 2 hours with what we have planned"

"Well, I gotta go help fix some bunkers MacGran." Sgt. Palody said

"Sgt. I'm going to be okay right?" MacGran asked, he wasn't going to show it but he was really scared.

"Yeah, you should be on active duty again tomorrow. You'll just have a few bruises" With that Sgt. Palody left. MacGran felt exhausted from just that little conversation. He instantly went back to sleep.
Layarteb
17-07-2004, 07:59
The two Force Falcon teams observed the camp for the better part of the day. Medical and scientific engineering allowed them to skip sleep, though they were required to take vitamins and necessary pills that helped assist in doing to the body what sleep would normally do.

At roughly 1600, they had seen all they needed to see. It was time to act. They radioed in an air strike from the Layarteb Imperial Air Force. Awaiting on the ground in Layarteb were a pair of B-4A Magnum heavy bombers, top-of-the-line stealth bombers produced by the Layarteb Defense Corporation. One carried a load of forty-eight GBU-35 JDAMs and the other carried twenty-four GBU-34 JDAMs. In their side bays, each carried four AIM-9X Sidewinders and four AIM-120C-6 AMRAAMs. Fully loaded, they weighed five hundred and sixty-five thousand pounds and lifted into the air like graceful birds. The flight profile called for an ingress to the target at twelve hundred miles per hour and eighty-two thousand feet. They each had a radar signature of 1/10000th of a square yard, or 1/1000th that of the F-117.

They climbed to eighty-two thousand feet at twenty thousand feet per minute and then leveled off, heavy and unagile. They had a combat range of ten thousand nautical miles but they would be refueling on the way back via KC-10A Extender.

On the ground by the outpost, the two teams finalized their targets, which consisted of each storage garage, the weapons caches, the generator building, and just about every other structure out there including what appeared to be an underground shelter through an air vent. They would arrive over the target at 2100. The B-4s would then drop their bombs on the target and devestate them. It would then be the duty for the two teams to descend upon the outpost and finish the job.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
At 2030, the B-4s made contact with the two teams, giving ETA, ordinance load, etc. Using their uplink computers, they programmed each bomb from the ground. The B-4s dropped their bombs on time, at 2100. All-in-all, they released twenty GBU-35s and six GBU-34s. As the bombs came down, the B-4s turned off target but slowed down in case they had to make another pass.

There was silence in the air, the only noise being the ambient noise and chatter down in the outpost. The two teams, using their watches, counted down the seconds until the bombs would hit their targets.

But the silence was shattered only a few minutes after the bombs were released. Explosions, simultaneous ones at that, rocked the camp and the valley. The twenty-six targets were destroyed. The two teams confirmed this and reported back to the bombers to head home. It was now that the teams would engage the enemy forces.

They stood, weapons in hand, and descended from the hills. The outpost would definitely be populated still but the soldiers would be shaken and stirred.

It only took three minutes to get to the base of the outpost where the snipers of both teams eliminated the guards in the six towers. It was then that they entered the grounds of the outpost to see bodies and wreckage everywhere. Only eight structures stood and that was including the six guard towers. The other two were a pair of buildings that, from their positions, appeared to be prison cells. They went from rubble pile to rubble pile with their weapons and shot roughly eighty-two enemy soldiers running frantically around trying to quell the crisis. The prison cells were empty and it was now that the team relayed that their mission was complete. It was now time to leave the AO immediately.

They had to hike forty kliks south, to a river where they would use inflatable rafts to head south to the beach. At the beach, a merchant vessel was waiting. They would board the vessel and travel out to a submarine eighty-four miles off shore.

The plan went accordingly and the team suffered no casualties. These were the top of the line soldiers of the Layarteb military. The first team, led by COL. Delaney was the elite of elite of the elite of the elite. There was none better than them in their country, region, and most of the world. The second team was making their combat debut.

When the Emperor was given the memo that the strikes were successful, the teams were aboard a submarine and on their way home, and that the outpost was completely neutralized he smiled and immediately drafted a letter to the leader of Itinerate Tree Dweller. It read: "Intelligence reports central outpost neutralized...Reconnaissance shows enemy presence in AO to be non-existant...Good work!" He sent the letter immediately and returned to his business. Yet another success story for the Black Ops. And they wonder why I use them so much!

Forgive our lateness in response. Our Emperor has been assasinated. His son has taken over in his place. Our 1st army should be arriving as you read this message. They have 100000 units, they will be replacing the units lost in the 2nd army. The Emperor believes that once this army approaches he will be able to send a squad of advanced bombers to take out the main outpost. Prepare for napalm, the temperature around the compound may reach extreme levels. Emperor Erik will put down this rebellion once and for all.

OOC: The army calculator for my nation was arounf 6,000,000. Its because i have a compulsary military service and increased taxes and military government funds.

IC: The Nation of Akita-Ryuvius has decided to go ahead with Operation Rebellion. Four Alpha and Bravo Class SF sniper teams have been deployed around the remaining outpost to determine where the rebels supplies are entering from. With them they have a thermal intensifier, to see inside and underground of the base. Each team is made up up of one sniper and one spotter. The snper is equiped with a m-83 .50 caliber sniper rifle and sidarm USP. The spotters all carry m-4s with sniper scopes or mp-5s with nightvision/thermal intensifier scopes.

Randy Hitaro, and Bravo Class snier fresh out of sniper and covert ops training school, gazed down the sight and crosshairs his m-83 sniper rifle. The guns power was unquestionable, its a ability to put a hole in a 6ft thick cement wall the size of his fist was the proof, and it was what they needed for this operation right now. Using the Thermal intensifier, his spotter, Jacob Uyama, tried to locate and pinpoint the location of key leaders of the rebel forces. They were also instructed to look for any signs of this "General", as the man in teh briefing room had described, and terminate him/her with extreme prejudice. Their armaments were all fitted with suppressors, like the squads that had been deployed on one of the other outfits, also to make almost no noise. A man or a woman sat in a room seemingly speaking to someone who was taking notes. On his/her uniform, they cold see the cold sillhoutettes of 3 stars on each sholder. A general. Though he was merely a blob of orange, red and blue arranged in the general shape of a human, he/she had been the source of all the trouble regarding the last base.

Randy lined up his shot, slowly, ever so slowly, slid his forhand holding the grip and barrel of the rifle down along his side, careful not to twitch or shudder in the cold in case the target was lost. He reached into his satchel and retreived one .50 High intensity mercury tipped armour-peircing round and slowly but surely slid in into the reciever chamber. The teams did not botehr to use clips, five or ten rounds encased in a five pound metal shroud was extremely heavy to carry more then three or four at a time. Each sniper team only carried five live rounds for their snipers, but their side arms and spotter's weapons were well suppliedwith 5.56 and 9mm ammunition. Randy pressured the finger on the trigger, he heard the first click of the firing sequence, then the second, and finnally he fired. As if by some god or unseen spirit the seemingly powerful general bent over to retrieve a part of the gun he was cleaning that had fell on the floor. He didnt hear the initial shot, but he heard the crash and thud as the metalic high powered round thudded through the concrete and slammed into the opposite wall. He looked up at the smoldering hole in the wall that led to the outside and saw the gleam of the compound's flood lights pour in from the outside night. He called out in alarm, and guards rushed in. He spoke breifly to them, still staying low,and they rushed out. Moments later there was increased activity at the base, tanks trucks and technicals ruched about from corner to corner or the outpost. An alrm went off somewhere deep inside the structure, and spotlights went on here and there and scanned the outer perimeter of the base. all four sniper teams coordinated and opened up with their silenced snipers on a technical, tearing it to bits as the regular, non-mercury tipped rounds rocked the heavily modified pickup truck and instantly killed all inside. The other weapons opened up and decimated open backed truck and tore the rebels to ribbons with 5.56 and 9mm rounds. Sniper team alpha called in a e-vac and they picked up their equipment and huried to the black hawk that had landed some 1 mile from their position. This is where all their running trainging had paid off, the 1 mile hike was easily completed in under 15 minutes with a light job and some high fives. the clambored aboard and flew off. Randy had a sniking feeling in his gut. He knew he was going to get fried for not taking out at least one rebel leader or official, but they did deal a number to a techinical and a open-ended truck though. The chopper lifted off into the night, as if the snipers werent even there in the first place.

To all allies. The CKZ is preparing to launch an Armor invasion, on the central outpost (I am ignoring Layateb's post about killing 50,000 rebels with a couple of bombs and black ops teams), using the 4th and 5th Armor Divisions. The 1st Stormtrooper Division will be ground support. Helicoptors from the 2nd and 3rd Air Force Division will be Air Support. The 6th and 7th Navy Division will be shelling the area for the rest of the day. This Operation is called Operation Breaking Defenses and shall begin in at dawn (3 hours and 15 minutes real time). If any allies wish to join in Operation Breaking Defenses please contact me or make sure you show up around the time that Operation Breaking Defenses begins.

As the cannon shell pounded the walls of the last remaining outpost, the ITD General sucked back on a cigar. These rebels were not going to escape, not on his watch. He didnt have the heart to tell the men about the death of the emperor. The failure of the internal security came as a shock to everyone who heard of it. The soldiers would surely be discouraged. His current strategy was to win the war, crush the rebels and then tell them men. He never liked Erik, he was too young and never knew an actual day of battle. He just sat safe in his throne room, which has had a very large increase in security presence. A soldier walked into his tent and saluted the him.

"Sir, a message has arrived from the capital. It's urgent."

"Yea, yea, give the message to me."

The soldier handed the message to the General, which had only two lines of text.

West Wall
-Emperor Erik

The general knew what this meant. When the outpost structures were built, they had one minor flaw, that if taken advantage of could cause a complete power shutdown to the outpost structures. The outposts' generators were installed long after the original outposts were built. Needless to say, several structure changes had to take place so that they could be placed in the power station of the outpost. Part of the west wall had to be extended, leaving the wall weakened. With a proper administration of force, and properly placed explosives, the west wall should collapse leaving the outpost power generator exposed. The only catch is, the west wall is extensively protected by computer controlled gun and rocket turrets, an effort to justify the inadequate wall structure of the wall. We must get those turrets taken out. <the General grabs the radio>

"Attention ground and air troops. The west wall of the central outpost must be taken out. Focus fire on the gun and rocket turrets stationed around the wall. When the turrets are successfully disabled, the ITD 2nd Army Engineers will place explosives on the wall joints, the wall will easily be destroyed in the explosion. Repeat. Concentrate fire on the western wall's defensive turrets."

OCC---No I ment Layarteb's post. The way I got it was that he just took out 50,000 rebels with a few bombs and two black ops teams.....You just posted before me ITD sorry bout that.

50,000? Thought there were only 5,000. Mind you I have some problems with Dyslexia. If there were 50,000 just disregard the post.

Yeah ignore that. Just consider my forces there for recon purposes, overwatching the battle, picking off the occassional sniper or two from their two perches up on the hills.

The 2nd Armies turrets had bend pounding the western wall for over 15 hours. The rockets were long exausted, and the machine gun's had been refreshed a dozen times already. The men were tired, having had no sleep the entire duration of the offensive. The General knew that the western wall's defensive measures had to be taken out, but he had little or no idea on how to do so. The computer defenses of the outposts were excellent, which is what they were designed to be. They too had but one weakness. They were built on a rail system, so that they could move from one side of the outpost to the other, not the pretties looking system but it worked. The General was running low on options and, most importantly, ammunition. The General did not know that his answer had just arrived.

He was sitting at a makeshift table, chewing nicotine gum. He was well into his thirties, wearing his age in his eyes. You could tell that he had seen the deaths of countless men, women and children. A band of rebels would provide little exercise for his morality. The General walked in and found him playing with a worn knife. The knife was standard issue back when the General was a rookie, but was not part of the stardard issue equipment for any modern ITD military unit. The man stood and faced the General, saluting him and smiling.

"Colonel Rickter Scott, ITDGF. Reporting to duty, reassigned from Sector 12B to aid his majesty's forces on the West Wall issue" Rickter said.

"I understand you brought an assistant, a Danniel Reck. He was part of the network incident, was he not?" asked the General.

"Yes sir, I was." said Danny, having snuck up behind the General. "Danniel Reck, newly appointed member of the ITDGF"

"Yes, he's right here, sir. He's been appointed an information officer for his involvement in the news network incident. He has vital information regarding the indentification and nature of the enemy." Scott assured the General

"Reck, dont get me wrong, you did a great deed for you nation, but I have the situation well under control." said the General

"What if I were to say that we knew a way to disable the gun and rocket turrets protecting the western wall." said Reck

"By all means, tell me" responded the General, between cigar puffs.

"As you know, the turrets operate on a track, which enables them to move from place to place" said Scott

"Yes, they are always moving, making them a bitch to target" remarked the General

"They have to move, their power supplies work off the friction caused by their movement over the tracks. If they dont move, they dont work." said Reck

"Your point being?" asked the General

Reck tossed a cannister of dull blue liquid to Scott. Scott then attached a small nozzle and hose to the top of the cannister, and proceded to cover an empty wooden crate with it. The liquid quickly turned to a thick foam, which hardened quickly.

"General, may I introduce you to Amorphlex, a highly advanced form of metal, which when introduced to air makes a foam that hardens and becomes stronger than titanium. General, we could spray this all over the turrets. Then we could send in our engineers to blow that wall to smithereens." said Scott.

The General just smiled, finally his answer had arrived.

Were just destroying them inside the nation. In a few weeks they'll be back to full strength if there is another nation backing them up. We need to attack the root of the situtation (the rouge nation). And dont you think its kind of stupid to be sitting there, watching your troops shelling the outpost, from within viewing distance? I think i rebel would pick off most of your men if they are sitting there being idiots up close and shooting at them. And he probobly would pick off the guy "sucking on a cigar" for sure. OOC:And whats with this "shooting machine guns" at walls? What good is that going to do!? And also, what the hell is this "ArmorFlex" Stuff!? That is possibly the most stupid spur-of-the-moment solution to all this! And why is ITD doing a fill frontal offensive? seems like a long-ranged strike from artillery and air craft would be better (and provide less caualities for that matter) instead of sitting on the ground and shooting at it like were some fools lined up in big glorious brightly colored outfits in a row with muskets are some crap like that! Shouldnt this be a little more realistic if you think about it? 50,000 well armed rebels, who have the advantages of cover, motive/morale and know the terrain, they are also well supplied and are reinforced every day by that damn tunnel! Why dont we attack the rouge nation thats supplying them? With our combined strength we should be able to crush them! ITD's forces can stay here, do what they want (i mean shoot at a 8ft. thick cement and steel wall with rifles since thats what it seems like they are doing) and keep them busy, while the rest of the aliied forces sends in special operations that will colaborate and take out key installations for the rouge nation(i.e. power plants, factories) with strategic demolition via plastic explosives and such, coordinated airstrikes and artillery bombardments. Thats all it really needs, you dont need machine guns shooting at them out in the open, the rebels could pick them off so easily. Remember, there are more than 100 million in their nation, all willing to fight! If you dont think so, for example you hold the belief"no no no there are women and children there too and they wont fight and neither will doctors and lawyers and such"....WELL THEY WILL! Why do you think they joined the "rebellion" in the first place? TO FIGHT THE GOVERNMENT.
Thank you for your time. That is all.

The map i posted showed a huge wall seperating the lower two outposts, which were already taken. My 2nd Army is positioned behind this wall, well protected and waiting for the automated defenses or the rebel base to be taken out by the gun turrets I have posted along the wall seperating the outposts. Think of it as entrenchment, with two groups exchanging shell fire across a field.

The amorphlex is spur of the moment, but will by no means make the battle quicker, we still have to spray the stuff on the enemy turrets. This solution may not even work, considering the difficulties of actually putting the plan into action.

We have been bombing the outposts via planes, but these have been limited due to the automated defenses and the already used airfield. We are in the process of building a second airfield, but the 2nd Armies engineers are busy containing a radioactive material cache, not to mention enforcing the wall which protects my 2nd army.

I am also sending reinforcements for the bombers, as well as sending my 6th armored naval fleet, which will aid in the shelling campaign.

Im open on suggestions on how to deal with the actual rebel nation.

An area about 15 kilometers around the central outpost should be large enough to burn the rebel menace from its entrenchment. The Emperor advises use of napalm to consume the oxygen around the outpost. If the rebels don’t burn, they will suffocate.

We have also traced the location of the rebel message we received not to long ago. It seems that the rebel nation is located some 52 kilometers to the west of the outposts. We have estimated the cost of a military campaign toward this city and have deemed it too costly. We are contemplating uses of nuclear bombs.

We are seeking advice on the rebel nation issue.

Nuclear weaponry is viable but perhaps there is an alternative that will allow you to utilize the land afterwards. Yes I am talking about chemical weapons. I suggest blanketing the area with VX and then wait a few weeks until it leaves the environment so your forces can safely enter the area. If you would like, my black ops team could deploy a biological weapon that will, in essence, kill the entire population of that city and, at the same time, not persist in the environment. It will be grotesque though I can assure you of that.

Cerebral Acute Fever

http://www.theforsakenoutlaw.com/Graphics/Nation-States/Other/biohazard.jpg
Cerebral Acute Fever (CAF) is a man-made virus, engineered by the biological weapons program of the Empire of Layarteb. It is the most deadly virus known to man, worse than Ebola Haemorrhagic Fever. Ebola has a mortality rate of 50% - 90% whereas CAF has a mortality rate of 98% - 100%.

The CAF virus is transmitted by direct contact with the blood, secretions, organs or semen of infected persons as well as through ingestion and inhalation. The virus is engineered to be the perfect biological weapon. The virus lies dormant until it enters the bloodstream of a living creature. It then actives from the warmth and proteins in the blood. It has an incubation period of 6 - 12 hours.

Initial symptoms are a high grade fever over 104°F (40°C), violent vomiting, diarrhea. These symptoms begin once the virus becomes activated. At approximately 4 - 6 hours after activation (A+240 - A+300) much worse symptoms appear. By now the virus has completely spread throughout the entire body and attacks every internal organ, vein, artery, etc. It takes approximately 18 - 20 hours for this process to be complete, at which case the host dies. Kidney and liver failures result immediately and the organs become mucus, liquefied by the virus. The brain and heart are last to go and usually the person dies from internal bleeding and excessive shock before this stage occurs at approximately 16 - 18 hours after activation. At that time, the brain and heart become attacked and the host experiences hallucinations as well as searing chest pain, which feels like a heart attack.

However, the virus cannot live without its host and within 2 - 6 hours after the host dies, so does the virus. It can be transmitted by any animal as none have a defense against the virus. Vaccines are developed and do work but are kept top secret as well as the virus. In testing, pain factors were so severe that subjects often went unconscious or endured seizures and other rapid bodily movements such as twitching.

CAF can be delivered any number of ways. Aersols and powder are most effective either in the air or in the water supply. Contamination will cease after 72 - 96 hours, after which the virus will die, regardless of if it has a host or not. Lethal dose is 100 spores, roughly one hundred times stronger than Anthrax. Generally, infection is meant to appear as food poisoning though it rapidly develops into more.

http://www.theforsakenoutlaw.com/Graphics/Nation-States/Other/cafvirus.jpg

Testing subjects were males ages 18 - 79. They were all prisoners for life, eventually slated for execution of life in prison for crimes ranging from child abduction to terrorism. These test subjects were infected with CAF through food, drink, air, and direct contact. All produced symptoms within 6 - 8 hours. All were dead before hour 15 of activation. Bodies were no longer contagious after 79 hours. Disposal was undertaken by incinerator and those who administered test and disposal did not show signs of infection after 36 hours.

Vaccine testing subjects were also males ages 18 - 63. They were all prisoners for life and administered the vaccine through injection. After being introduced to CAF through food, drink, air, and direct contact none of them showed symptoms other than a severe headache and a mild fever, approximately 100.0°F - 101.8°F. Vaccine was successful.

I am advising all Allied forces to withdrawal to a safe distance from the enemy entrenchment, turrets along the captured walls will be left automated and aimed at the last rebel outpost.

All other military units are to head toward the sector 3A, which is at a safe distance from the blast area. 200000 bio suits have been taken out of storage and are enroute to the 3A sector. We will then make a quartentine around the infected perimeter for 1 week, afterwhich soldiers in biohazard suits will be sent in to asess the damage. Pending the result we will then blanket the area with boiling water and sodium hydroxide, which should neutralize the virus. :gundge: :gundge: :gundge:

With the fight against the rebels almost at an end and fighting winding down there has been many celebrations lately. The 10th Stormtrooper Division, the 3rd Air Force Division, The 4th Armor Division, and the 7th Navy Division back to the CKZ. The family and friends of the soldiers fighting the rebels saw each other for the first time since the soldiers had be shipped out. With more coverage on the War later we now turn to the weather, right after this.

This has been a report by the Christian Kingdom of Zarathoft National News

-Classified Location Of The 1st Stormtrooper Division-

Everyone was glad that they didn't have to use their Armor invasion, that would have just made more people lose their lifes. After the massive artillary bombardment on their old base of operation, the 1st Stormtrooper Division still had skirmishes but only one major firefight since then. 3 Stormtroopers had been killed by snipers and another 5 sent home from wounds. In all of the minor skirmishes there was 1 KIA and 6 WIA (A WIA in Zarithian Standards is when the soldier is no longer able to fight). In the only major firefight since the artillary attack there had been 4 KIA's and 7 WIA. One of the KIA's had been Corporal James MacGran. He was being awarded the Silver Star for his is actions at that firefight. He saved his squad but sacrificed himself in the process. He is undoubtally the reason his squad is alive. The rebels were pouring in on their position, and with Echo Company already on full retreat, MacGran's squad (Sgt. Palody had been Wounded In Action by a sniper two days earlier) would have no covering fire. He ordered his squad to retreat back to the perimeter, he would stay with a SAW and M-16 and try to hold off the rebels. Already being shot in both legs, MacGran would have just slowed down his squad. He stalled the rebels for a total of 6 minutes before being shot in the upper left arm, yet he still fought on. 3 minutes later MacGran took a bullet to his stomach. With his life slipping away, MacGran loaded up his M-16 and fought on. Barely 45 seconds later he took a bullet to the chest and was killed. The rebels were honorably enough to return MacGran's body, untouched, to the Zarithian Perimeter. On his body they found a letter, mostly to himself rather then anyone else. It read:

My best friend, Darren Ophinite is dead. I have thought about it everyday since it has happened, I have had nightmares about it everynight, I replay it in my mind evertime I close my eyes. It is haunting me. I wish I could make it go away but I can't. I wish it had been me, Ophinite never did anything to deserve to die, why couldn't it have been me? I swear on his grave I will do my best to avenged him, though what I can do is unknown. The only way I can think of is to kill as many rebels as possible and protect the remaining members of this squad. I will die trying. I know I will die before I am going to be sent home, I can feel it. If I am going to die, let me go down with a bang. Forgive me Lord for all of my sins and forgive me for the sins I am about to commit. *Goes unreadable from blood stains until some lines witch seems to be written in a hurry* I am dying, but I have done my job. I have saved the squad and that is all that matters. For the first time since you have died [Ophinite] I am happy. I don't know how I can be happy when I just killed atleast 15 men but I am. The satellites used in targeting the rebel outposts have also been taking thermal imaging of the surrounding area. There are no visible bio suits in the area, and such material wasnt not present on the stock lists of any of the captured outposts. Unless they have had prior warning of such an attack, there is no reason for them to suspect such an attack. We are also droping the vx at night, so there will be limited visibility for their soldiers, and many of their civilians/non-combatants will be asleep. They won't know what hit em.
To be on the safe side, I will send my tank and armoured divisions in to sweep the area up, after the initial week.

We go live to the scene, the Emperor is addressing the nation.

My Dear Subjects,
Five hours ago, Allied Forces began a comprehensive bombing campaign of the rebel outposts and surrounding areas, including the home nation of the rebel forces.. The exact nature of the bombs are classified. Rest assured that any and all threats that the rebel forces posed to us are now completely destroyed. Already satellite photography shows massive casualties and rebel activity has come a dead halt.

Rebel casualties from the wars are expected to be anywhere from 85 to 150 million. Those who, remarkably, dont die will be too weakened by the weapons effects. Needless to say, victory is ours.

Allied forces, having already evacuated the affected region, are being restocked and rested. Exact figures on the casualties have not been calculated, but are not expected to be very high, as the majority of the battle was fought with shell fire and artillery.

To those rebels who have not been terminated, or are currently in a safe location, I have only one message: Surrender, Rebel Resistance is ours.

wounded man: They're all dead! dead... oh my god, you killed them all. *cough* I cannot see! My eyes... curse you all.

<itd soldiers begin to walk toward the wounded man>

wounded man: Who is that, tell me your name... they are all dead. Everyone of them are dead. Dead!

<the soldiers fire at the man and kill him>

Soldier: Yea, they're all dead. Your entire nation, dead.
