Halladi News Network Broadcast

There was a shot of live images. Soldiers, armed with M41A1 Pulse Rifles, running down a street in New Dublin, the provisional capital. An explosion collapsed a building as they ran next to it, sending debrits toward them. Once the dust clears, the men are dead. An APC rides past the fallen soldiers, the camera zooms out, and a reporter steps into view.

"This is the scene through out much of Hallad, as insergents have made serveral attempts at President Fenris' life. Halladi millitary and police have made attempts at finding these attackers, but have failed. As have the attempts on the life of our glorious leader. He has since been moved to a secure location."

The screen changes to a reporter on a dock.

"Greetings, I am in the city of Erse where an attempt was made on President Fenris' here. Although his location in the country was not known, unknown insergents killed 11 Capitalism Now Party officials from parliament. Since then their seats were filled."

Fenris' Emergency Bunker, the Halladi Desert

"I want these guys dead!" Fenris exclaimed in his heavy arabic accent.

"We know, Mr. President, we're still trying to figure out who they are. We currently suspect commandos from Communist Louisiana." His aide explained.

"By Allah! Damn those Communist bastards!"

"Don't worry, we've got 100 men defending this installation alone, not to mention the other 200 patrolling the area."

"It'd had better keep me safe."

"It will."

When seeing the event on the news, Foriegn Minist M. G. Merco sent the following message:

Kamered is deeply disturbed and angered by the insurgent attacks. If Hallid wishes, Kamered could send troops to help the government keep control, and Kamered would call upon its allies to do the same.

Commander Danilov of the Hattian Red Hammer Commandoes and his men sheltered in a small abandoned house out in the countryside of Hallad. He pulled out a small portable TV (Commandoes are issued these, as sometimes people accidentally reveal stuff on TV.) He grinned as he watched the news reports on his and his comrades attacks, "Heh, they must have never heard of us..."

The commandoes were readying themselves for an attack on Fenris's compound. One of the Capitalists had cracked under their interrogation and had blurted out the location of his bunker. They were forced to kill the man, so he wouldn't notify anyone of the security leak.

"Dimitri, is everyone ready...?" Danilov asked. His NCO, Dimitri Severnaya Andropov nodded. Danilov stood up in front of his men. "Okay, this is what we've spent all of this time in Hallad for. We are guessing that there are at least a few hundred men guarding the area. Not to mention that there probably is armor in the area. Unfortunately for them, it won't be enough..."

He then began to outline their plan.

30 minutes later...

"Okay, let's move out, fire only on my command or if we are being shot at, and keep your heads down. We fight for the Republic!"

Then, they moved out...

Lieutenant Korman looked out across the horizon with his binoculars. He saw men advancing. He couldn't tell if they were Halladi regulars, but he figured not. They weren't carrying Pulse Rifles. Perhaps, they were Militia here to reinforce them.

"Lets go check those guys out. Make, sure their supposed to be here."

He hopped into one of the 5 M151 Fast Attack Vehicles they had with them. His squad of 15 moved out. The gunners, three using M60 machine guns the other two with 149-mm TOW launchers, readied themselves for possible conflict.

"Move with extreme caution." Korman said through the comlink, informing his men what they already had figured.

Auslandreich denounces Communism in any form, and though we are a Christian nation, we are willing to help in any way we can. The King himself (backed by the House of Commons) offers millitary intelligence officers to Hallad to weed out these insurgents.

"Shit, they've spotted us. Just follow my lead..." Danilov whispered as they made their way towards the base. As the vehicles approached. Danilov shouted, "Halt, what do you want?"

Millitary intelligence personnel lead by General Rommel are deployed immediately from an unknown location via private jet to Hallad.

They will be on the ground in 4 hours , and begin an investigation/aid your investigators as soon as possible.

"Liuetenant Korman. Who are you guys Halladi Guard (formerly the Red Guard)?" He called out as the jeep came to a stop.

Danilov shook his head, "No, our unit is classified, we've just gotten a report about 30 minutes ago that some Communist Louisiana commandoes had stolen a truck and were hightailing it towards the coast. We are going to track them. By the way, we are a bit low on ammo, mind if we resupply at your base?"

"Umm, yeah. But, I still need to see your ID cards." Korman's troops lifted their weapons. "Just so we know you are who you claim to be."

"You want me to get shot? I've already told you way too much. Have you seen what they do to people who leak security. Probably not, I guess you Grunts don't have that much valuable info. And if you shoot us, my commander will be very displeased..."

OOC: can i get in this RP, it looks interesting and fun. maybe hattia has an embedded dakaran in his unit, or something else?

"Right. Well, I don't think all of you can fit you all, but climb aboard." He adressed his troops. "Make room, and put your rifles down."

Danilov nodded. A few seconds later, they all piled on the truck. 2 of them even sitting on the sides. "Okay, I think we are all ready here..."

OOC: Fine with me, but it's really up to Hattia.

About ten minutes later they arrived at a fenced-in compound. There were several guard towers with machine gun nests on top. A short while up the road there was a bunker sticking out of a huge sand dune. The parked in an area out of the way. Korman, got out of the jeep.

"You got your keycard, right?" He said to Danilov.

Dakara: I don't mind, it is quite possible that one of my people could be a Dakaran, after all, the only requirement to join the military is to be a Hattian citizen. Or I guess we could have one of your commandoes.

Danilov nodded. He then fumbled around in his pack for a bit. He felt the keycard and grabbed it. He had picked it off the corpse of a dead patrolman a the night before. "Yeah, could you show me to the armory though, I've never been in here before?"

he is native born dakaran now a hattian citizen with the last name Petrov. most importantly , unlike most dakarans, he speaks perfect english. sorry my description of his is so brief and rusehd, i had to think quick

"Yeah, but I'm not sure they got that type of ammunition." He said, motioning at the Hattian's weapons. "Actually. I gotta report in, but Sergrent Onlov will take you to the armoury."

Korman entered the base with his own card.

"Shall we?" Onlov asked Danilov.

Danilov nodded and slid his card through the scanner. "Thanks.."

He followed Onlov down to the armory, it was a huge room filled to the roof with ammo, guns, rockets, etc. Danilov smiled and closed the door behind himself. After the men had grabbed all the ammo they could. He turned to Onlov. "Onlov, I know our Glorious leader Fenris is in this bunker, I need to speak with him, it is of utmost importance, please, show me to him. I've found information that suggests that Communist Louisiana and Hattia are planning an invasion."

"What? How the hell would I know where he is?" Onlov asked. "I'm just a grunt you know.

Korman entered the command room. Fenris was looking over some maps with a General. They both looked up.

"Who's this then?" Fenris asked the General.

"Lieutenant Korman, how can I help you?"

"Sir, some suspcious men came to the base. Said they were spec ops of some kind. I wanted to know if I should forget I saw them or not."

"What?! Hell no! Damnit!" The General answered.

"Something wring General?"

Before Danilov had a chance to answer the intercom boomed with Fenris' voice.

"Attention Communist Insurgence, your little attempt at killing me is over. You'll be dead in a few minutes, if not sooner. Sorry you couldn't actually do anything other than get slaughtered."

Onlov's eyes widened and the went for his holstered pistol.

Unfortunately for Onlov, Danilov was extremely quick on the draw, before Onlov even grabbed his pistol, Danilov's was in his face. He quickly disarmed Onlov and handed the pistol to one of the others. "Now, you are going to help us get out of here, or I will make sure you never become a father." He said, while pointing the pistol at Onlov's groin.

"Petrov, get this room wired up, everything you have, we are going to blow it sky high... Everyone else, get ready to defend this room until it is ready." The commandoes assumed defensive positions, rifles at the ready...

Something moved in the corridors. Fuel smoke filled the room as huge resounding crashes shook the building. With a metallic clanking, the armored forms of four Shessaran High Guard burst into the room, autocannons on their arms already blazing.

"yes sir!"

Petrov, ducking fire opened up his pack and pulled out his speciality, heavy demolitions.

"I need cover fire!" he yelled as he put charges on various boxes that instinct told him would make the biggest boom. on box in particular caught his attention . the label: grenades.

"we need to get out of here so i can blow it!"

OOC: Mind if I join? You need me!

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of War are having an argument over the situation:

General Roska: Glass them! Glass them! Take them down while they're weak!

The Minister thwaps the General.

Rosta Einvach: No you idiot, we need them alive. Plus they gave us our nuclear weapons!

GR: Can we instill a Revolution?

RE: That's the Vice President's final choice.

The Vice President walks in.

Orcha Yultanov: Let me guess? Glass or peace right?

Both Ministers go yes.

OY: Load up some RCP-1s and drop thousands of copies of the Communist Manifesto.

GR: Yay!

The Minister of Foreign Affairs thwaps the General again.

GR: What was that for?!

RI: I dunno...

The General gave the call and the planes were up!

Five RCP-1s (C-11s) takes off towards the Imperium. They are unmarked and they were flying towards "another" nation. They would drop copies of the Communist Manifesto towards the cities, whatever they may be. They would arrive in 3 hours... (3 minutes I guess @.@ if I can't come in eh...)

"Right, that's just a contingency plan, I want to kill this bastard myself." He tied Onlov to a bar, with his hands bound and such. Danilov motioned for everyone to follow. He took down an armed worker at the end of the hallway and moved in. "He's probably up top..."

The commandoes began to make their way upwards, quickly and quietly...

The five RCP-1s arrived inside Hallad ,apparently they hadn't been shot down yet.

Main Leader: Okay, if we're shot down, everybody kill yourselves.

Pilot 3: Why?!

ML: Because we can't have them link this to Rose, that's why we're wearing civilian uniforms.

Pilot 2: They'll find out it's suicide.

ML: Then if you survive drown yourself or something.

P3: Did the General order this?

ML: No I did, now come on drop them pamphlets! Remember, the black box will self destruct when our mission is accomplished.

The bay doors of the RCP-1s open, and thousands upon thousands of pamphlets of the Communist Manifesto drop towards the land. Cheering can be heard inside the plane. The plane now flies towards Hattia, in which they will take off for Rose three days later, it was hastily drawn up, but it might work...

OOC: Nobody complained so I guess I'm not ignored, besides you still have a chance to shoot them down.

OOC: Hey Hallad? You mind if I join in? Could just say some SPARTANs and Delta Force operatives were already there. It would take too long to get there from Derscon.

I'd like to join, but your call.

OOC: Go ahead, join in. Anyone who sent aid or anything when we almost went to war with CL and Hattia can say their guys arrived there, and even if you weren't there... Yep.

IC:

Alarms went flashing different colors and the like. Several SAM batteries came online- tracking the Rosian planes. Once the cargo had been dropped they proceeded to fire at the planes. 12 MiG-I2000H's were in the airto intercept those that were not shot down.

Fenris was furious at the incompetance of these communist bastards! Now he was forced to leave the base. He got into a jeep and took off with 175 men- the other 25 had been left to fight the Hattians along with the Shessaran High Guard.

The 5 RCP-1s were rampant with activity. One RCP-1 was shot down due to SAM fire. The Main Plane was trying to call in the base.


Main Leader: Don't shoot! This was a delivery for Prospero 4. One of the Rose's colonies. The bay door went loose. We'll pay for any damages, just don't shoot!

The 10th Mountain Division, already in Hallad under a humanitarian initiative (see the old thread), has been ordered to assist Halladi forces in destroying the communist pigs.

Alpha Platoon, noting the flight of the Premier, quickly moved from their pre-fabricated shelters in the capital and started the counter offensive. Armed with H&K M-8 rifles, they stormed the abandoned compound.

Major Rearden led his men forward, gunning down Communists as they ran for cover. He watched as a soldier tried to wire explosives on various flammable containers.

Rearden raised his rifle and let loose a single round, watching as Petrov fell to the ground. He grimaced as he realized the man had already set the detonator, and ordered his 30 men to retreat.

Just as the last man reached cover, the building exploded in a mass of debris.

Tyrandis, I'm wondering how you got there so quickly, after all, they aren't in the capitol. And anyway, I'm supposed to declare my casualties, and, they already left the armory. And, there are only 8 commandoes

Danilov kicked down what looked like the command center of the base. "Damn, he's gone..." He ran up to the window and saw a number of jeeps speeding off. Fenris stuck out like a sore thumb in between all of the military uniforms. Danilov grabbed one of his soldier's sniper rifles and set the others to defending the door. Danilov smashed the window with the butt of the rifle and took aim at Fenris's head. He quickly calculated bullet drift, the speed they were moving, etc. Once he was done, he squeezed the trigger...

The MiG's ignored the plea of the pilot. The twelve planes fired their ATA missiles at the planes.

Does your leadership care to explain why you sent planes to drop illegal books on Halladi soil? Untill we have an explanation the shipment of 6 Peacekeeper ICBM's to your nation shall be halted, as will the delivery of a naval attack fleet. The fleet was schedualed to arrive today- however they have been ordered to not dock in your nation.

As Danilov pulled the trigger there was a blast of Pulse Rifle fire at the Red Hammers. Fenris- hearing this- was forced down and out of site by a guard. The bullet barely missed him. M60 machineguns from Jeeps began firing at the Commandos position.

"Damnit!" Danilov whispered as he dived down, narrowly avoiding being shredded by the M-60s. Danilov dropped the sniper rifle and picked up a *HAR-4IBW. "Go, get some vehicles!" he shouted. He moved over and popped up again, this time taking aim at the jeep's engine. He fired off quite a few shots then ducked back down again and crawled towards the door, once he was in the hallway, he stood up and sprinted down after his comrades at top speed.

Sgt. Levekov and the others fought their way down towards the vehicles. The workers and soldiers were no match for the Red Hammer's tightly honed reflexes and skills. They finally got to the jeeps. The men mounted up and waited for Danilov to get back...

A minute later

Danilov burst through the door. He jumped on one of the jeeps. "GO GO GO!" He slumped down in the seat and pulled out his radio. "Scalpel 1 to Emergency room, requesting gunship assistance and these coordinates, we've got them on the run. Also requesting pickup standby" A gruff voice came over the radio, "Scalpel 1, coordinates recieved, support is on it's way, ETA: 15 minutes."

Hattian Battlecarrier Lancer

15 *HGA-6s taxied down the runway and shot off towards Hallad, which wasn't that far off. They had been there ever since the civil war.

The four other RCP-1s went down, nobody survived the crash, the black boxes got destroyed on the way down.

We apologize completely for the incident. You see, we were delivering the pamphelts for one of our colonies. The colleges are short of them, it appears it was a mechanical error that caused all the bay doors to open. We are willing to pay 500 Million in reparations and we will also pick up the planes if you allow us. Excuse us please. It was nothing more then an error nothing more.

Unfortunatly the planes are little more than wreaks at the moment. We were forced to shoot them down after they made attempts at evading capture. We must apologize for this. We will not accept your reparations for this reason. As many books that are intact shall be sent to Prospero 4.

12 MiG-35's were sent to intercept the Hattian planes. Relaying this message to them:

"Hattian Pilots- you have not been cleared by the Halladi government to fly into Halladi Airspace. Please turn around now or be destroyed."

Danilov's shot hit the engine, and it came to slow halt. Other jeeps raced to pick their leader up. Several T-90's fired at the Hattians too, along with jeeps armed with TOW Missile Launchers.

The other jeeps got there and hurried Fenris on, several others provided cover fire with their M60's.

In accordance with Executive Order 3649, the Shildonian Flying Corps will begin conducting CAS support missions in support of allied ground operations in Hallad. From midnight tonight, two flights of Anne Coulter's will be airbourne at all times to support both our own troops, and those of our allies in their ongoing operations against Communist aggression in the fledgling democracy of Hallad.
Details on how to contact the aircraft have been passed to the Halladi government for distribution amongst the various allied forces. Weapons on offer include GPS guided bombs, radar guided Brimstone anti-armour missiles, and area denial munitions (cluster bombs).
Tactical command of the Demeters and Minotaurs has been handed to the Halladi air-force, who will be able to authorise attacks on possible hostile aircraft.

Shildonian ground troops are spending most of their time travelling to towns and villages doing hearts and minds work, such as giving medical care and helping to repair damaged equipment. Hopefully this will persuade Communist sympathisers to start giving intelligence on the movements of the insurgents.
3000 of the troops will remain at the airfield to defend against enemy attack.

OOC: Back when the Capitalists were first installed, I had the 10th Mtn. deployed in Hallad. They were there to help safeguard citizens who were victimized by the myriad communist nation attacks. Still haven't left there either.

Yeah, I can vouch for him there, Hattia.

The Shessarans lumbered into a charge, machinegun bullets leaving dents in the ceramic/titanium plating. A grenade, thrown by a nervous soldier, glanced from the metal faceplate of the foremost suit and detonated about fifteen feet behind him, sending razor-sharp shards into the back of the rearmost suit. The Shessaran buckled and fell, blood running from the facegrille of his heavily damaged suit. The others continued, and their autocannons blazed ceaseless death at whatever Hattian showed his face.

Prospero 4's runways and docks get ready for the shipment of pamphlets that might arrive, meanwhile inside the Red Office of the Villa the Vice President smacks the General.

Orcha Yultanov smacks the General.

General Roska: Wha?

GR: Right right sorry....

The General walks up to Rosta in the hallway and tells him. (Too lazy to post conversation)

Halladi Airspace

"We are authorized to enter this airspace by the authority of the True Directorate!" With that 8 of the HGAs fired off a barrage of Sidewinder missiles towards the Halladi planes. The extreme amount of training and experience that the Hattian's had would give them a big advantage over the Halladis, while the other 7 dived towards the coordinated that Danilov had given them.

"Scalpel 1, this is Striker 1, enemy armor sighted, preparing to engage." The HGA's fired off Air to Ground missiles towards the tank...

The jeeps shot out of the base. "Damn, tanks, go around!" The jeeps slid around and darted away under fire from the tanks, heading for a patch of forest for cover. The driver of the jeep Danilov was in caught a bullet in the face and fell out. He quickly jumped in and floored the accelerator. They pulled out of cover once the tanks were left far behind. He peered off into the distance and saw the dust coming from the retreating enemy "We're gaining on them, get ready to shoot anything that moves!"...

Hattian Battlecarrier Lancer

Several Helix transport helicopters took off from the deck, loaded with Hattian Marines, followed by 5 Ka-53 Attack Helicopters. They headed off towards the land, once they were in the air, they were joined up by 4 HAsF-5s to help fend off fighters.

OOC: Hattia, they were developed by a commonwealth of the nation we are both roleplaying with right now. I had his consent and approval. I posted a thread in our region's private forum. Go figure.

OOC: Ka-53 helicopters are anti-submarine helicopters...
And, yes, the 'power armour' was developed by Hallad, however it is fairly primitive.

IC:

Several Vulcan SAM Tanks began an attept to shoot down the Helicopter and fighters. A minute after they took of 24 Su-37 "Terminator" jets followed to shoot them down.

MiG-35 pilots were far from average pilots. After all they used the second most advaced plane in the Halladi arsenal. They immediatly broke from the hattian planes and fired flares. One plane, however failed to do so in time, the burning wreak fell to the desert below.

The others reformed and fired 12 missiles (one from each) at the Hattian planes.

On the ground a T-90 exploded. Part of the Halladi Brigade- 25 that had been left to fight the Hattians began to catch up in their Jeeps. Two Avenger Pedastool Mounted Stinger Launchers began targetting the Hattians planes and when ready, fired.

Today all members of the True Directorate were arrested in various places. their charge- conspiricy to overthrow the government.

In addition to that the Capitalist Imperium of Hallad formally declared war on the Soviet Socialist Republic of Hattia.

Throughout Hallad 10 Divisions of Militia began mobilization as did 50 divisions of Halladi Regulars.

"Sir!" petrov yelled to his commander "whenever you give the signal, i'll hit the remote detonator!"

Danilov shouted back to Petrov, "Blow it!"

with a smile he hit the button. behind them, the armory exploded massively. Petrov enjoyed his job and he was good at it. all the munitions in the vacinty of the charges exploded as secondary explosions, thier explosions causing more explosions, and so on. the chain reaction of the explosion made a massive fireball where the amory once was.

"who's your daddy?" petrov shouted into the night

Nearly all of the line of vehicles began to stop. A white flag was raised.

Which vehicles are you talking about Hallad. And apparently Jolt only lets you edit for a certain amount of time, I lost a good post.

Statement from the Ministry of War

At this moment, Hattian Peacekeepers are mobilizing to go to the nation of Hallad to rescue the people from the throes of anarchy. We have recieved reports of factions within Hallad declaring war on us. As they are not the legitimate government of Hallad, we do not recognize them.

Halladi Airspace

The aircraft split and fired off their countermeasures and pulled up out of the range of the Halladi AA. One of the aircraft, however, had it's wing blown off. It spiraled to the ground and exploded in a plume of flame. The HGA's then dove on the enemy planes, letting out a storm of lead from their twin chainguns.

Hattian Helicopter Squadron IIIHBFA

"Damn, set us down!" The helicopters quickly set down and let out the marines just in time for them to avoid being destroyed in the helicopters. The surviving marines responded with missiles from their Sa-18 AA launchers.

statement from the Commissariate of War

We are infact the rightful, elected government of Hallad. The 'True Directorate' cannot be in controll if there are no members. As such, if Hattia does not cease it's agression, they shall all be executed without trial. Thirty out of the 250 members have already been killed.

Throughout military basses in Hallad troops began attacking Hattian troops and ships.

In the Sejena Militar Port, nearly 500 men attacked Hattian ships without warning, attempted to take as many soldiers prisoner as possible and taking the ships with minimal damage to it.

Halladi Airspace

One MiG was heavily damaged by the chaingun fire. It was able to fly back toward the air base. The others broke away, but didn't reform. They instead got as close as they could to the Hattian planes and each fired another missile.

Hattian Helicopter Squadron IIIHBFA

One Su-37 "Terminator" was hit on the engine and exploded vilenty in the air. Six of the Halladi planes made dives firing their GSh-30 30mm cannon's.

Over the skies of Hallad nearly 150 patriot missile batteries were being fired at the cruise missiles. SAM's and Flak Canons fired at the Aircraft. 12 Mi-35 Hind's, 12 Su-27's, and 12 MiG-33's were sent to intercept the Hattian Aircraft.

The planes streaked through the sky, not caring for the losses. The pilots had one thing on their mind, Vengeance. By the time they had gotten to the area, most of the planes had been destroyed. Vidar Valenko was the in the remaining plane, the Halladis hard on his tail, he sighted a group moving out of the area. Screaming "VENGEANCE!" he released what was left of his weapons and headed straight for the group at Mach 2.5...

Official Statement from the Prime Minister

Hattia does not feel at this time an invasion of Hallad would be in our best interests. We, however, will never recognize the bastard Fenris as the leader of Hallad. One day Fenris, we will hang you over Red Square, and slowly tear off your skin while laughing about your screams. One day, the capitalist bastards will be driven from Hallad. That day will come soon...

In other news, The People's Congress has enacted a new policy. Titled, 'Peacekeeping in Hallad', the bill enables the Hattian navy to stop and seize the cargo of ships that are carrying weapons, munitions, or other military supplies to Hallad that are in international waters. The bill also gives the HFIA to attempt assassination of Fenris at will.

They saw this oncomming plane and began to scatter. Some did not make it. Seventeen men died from getting hit by the plane, another fourteen killed by it's weaponry and thirteen more killed by shrapnel. There were still twenty-five injured men- Fenris was one of them.

They made their way to anyother safehouse.

Halladi News Network

In news of the 'Peacekeeping in Hallad' policy of Hattia, the Halladi parliament legalised the murder of any Halladi citizen of Hattian ethnicity. In addition to that in Erse today, the bodies of ten Hattian commandos were put on spikes and displayed in the center square. Over them was a banner which read: "Behold the Hattian enemy!"

These men attempted to kill President Fenris and were stopped before harming him. This goes to show the superiority of Hallad soldiers to even the best of the best in Hattia.

In other news huge explosions rock the desert as many Cruise Missiles hit a spot in the desert. They were fired by a Hattia battleship. The explosion kill twenty engineers and fifty workers, who were constructing a highway.

"Damn those capitalist bastards, what should we do." The Minister of War nodded, "Nuke 'em, we've got our sattelite weaponry, we could have their major cities destroyed within the hour." The Prime Minister shook his head, "No, we can't do that. Perhaps a total blockade until they stop killing Hattians and take those bodies down." The Minister of War nodded, "You know that would give them a reason to strike back..." "Hmmph, let them come..."

The 5th, 6th and 10th Battle Fleets, which had originally met up in case of a Hattian invasion of Hallad recieved orders to move out. They would pick up any other ships needed at the port city of Vladivostock then make their way to Hallad.

It was a lovely summers day in Aycliffe, and Private Mathew Oyle was doing a spot of gardening. His girlfriend had been pestering him to mow the lawn for several weeks, and he had finally decided to get started. He was about half-way through, when his pager began bleeping at him. The message was simple: "RTB ASAP ND", or "Return to base as soon as possible. Not a drill".
All over town, other members of the 45th Infantry Brigade, which also contained three artillery regiments and 2 regiments of Apache helicopters, were recieving the same orders.
On the other side of town, mechanics were working to remove the rotor blades from the Brigade's Apaches for transport to Hallad aboard a fleet of Galaxies. Transporting the entire Brigade and their equipment would require a total of 20 transport aircraft.

500 kilometres west of Aycliffe, SFC Sonep was a similar hive of activity. A further two expeditionary airwings were to be deployed to Hallad, to bolster the one already in place. Mechanics swarmed over the aircraft in preperation for the long deployment flight ahead of them, while spare parts and ordanance were placed aboard the cargo planes.

Meanwhile, Shildonian Flying Corps newest weapon, the B-38 Viracocha was preparing for its baptism of fire. Each of the 12 B-38s of the 452nd Bomb Wing was being loaded with 22 Yakhont-3 anti-ship missiles and 44 decoy missiles, based on the CALCM. Their target was the Hattian battlecarrier Lancer.
The attack plan was for 12 Demeters, backed up by a pair of Minotaurs from the expeditionary air wing in Hallad to make a feint attack four minutes before the Viracochas began firing their missiles, with the hope of drawing enemy fighters away from the bombers, which would be escorted during the bomb run by 24 Harpies from the PRSS Pogey, just in case the bait wasn't taken.

Two days ago in New Dublin six (6) Hattians, who are Halladi Citizens, were arrested on the charges of Conspiracy to Overthrow the Goverment. The next day a short trial took place and the jury voted unanimously that, indeed, the Hattians guilty. Their punishment was to be hanged in Erse next to the bodies of the ten (10) Hattian Commandos who failed to kill President Fenris several says ago.

Several Hattian Merchent Ship crews were taken prisoner in Hallad today, the government has proclaimed the prisoners of war.

Halladi Troops Mobilize

The Halladi military called up another 50,000 reservists, 20,000 Halladi Regulars, and placed the Republican Gaurd on high alert in their entrenched positions throughout Hallad. The previous ammount of men mobilized (can't remeber off the top of my head how many) have taken positions on the Halladi coast. The navy has been authporized to attack any and all Hattian vessels the find.

Hattia demands that you return the Hattians to their home country. If they are executed, we WILL avenge them, it will be a war that Hallad cannot win...

The Fleets continue to wait at Vladivostock, unsure if they will have to escort transport craft...

Meanwhile, the Hattian fleet currently in the area pulled back from the coast...

7,000 Standard Infantrymen, armed with assault rifles and flak armor, in addition to thirty High Guardsmen, have today crossed over the Southern Shessaran/Halladi border, en route to dig in and consolidate as a line of defense against the loyalist onslaught who seek to overthrow our ally, Premier Mustafa Fenris.

The vast majority of Shessaran citizens appear to support this recent move, as evidenced by a poll taken in Eldidd yesterday.

The forces expect heavy resistance, and fear that tank shells may spell trouble for our heavy armor in the open Halladi terrain, so different from our Shessaran hills and forests.

At this moment, thousands of Hattian soldiers are mobilizing, the militias are arming and the defenses were being ready. Throughout the major cities of Hattia, workers rushed around, preparing SAM sites, Anti-Missile weapons and fortifications, while civilians sheltered within community bomb shelters. Fenris had sealed the fate of himself and his cronies, The Republic is going to war.

Damages? And don't pull your usual trick of claiming that huge warships are capable of outmanouvering a missile travelling at thrice the speed of sound, because they can't.
