The 10th Expeditionary Fleet, formerly moving towards Buechoria has halted position about 1200 miles from the nearest ARSB waters... The fleet will remain there until it rendezvous with the 1st Battle Fleet, the flaghship fleet and most defended fleet of the ARSB. The 1st Battle Fleet, the 4th Expeditionary Fleet, and the 5th Expeditionary fleet are expected to rendezvous with the 10th in about five to six NS days.

The fleet will then mingle in the area for a few days before dispatching to a location yet to be determined.

Newly promoted Admiral Ellie Fitzgerald, Joint Commander of the McQuaide Self Defense Force, eyed RADSAT data and ERIC satellite photography of the Soviet Bloc naval movements. McQuaide’s External Intelligence Bureau had noted the movements as “possibly of import.” How typical of the intel folks to label something so ambiguously.

“Very well. Continue to track the movements. Put a Bear patrol on their wakes, hold it outside of their active radar range, with orders to monitor their movements. 24 hour shuttle coverage, give them tanker support if they need it. We’ll wait and see. With so much of our navy out at sea, we need to track stuff like this.”
