The Franzinians

The port of Nasia has been taken by Franzinian forces fighting for the freedom of Trade in the Northern area of The East Pacific. The war started because of Nasianian interference in our trade with the outside world. The Nasianians attacked and took 2 of our important trading ships carrying cargo of rum, timber, tin, gold, oil and apples and spread the supplies amongst themselves. When our Noble Goverment ordered Nasia to explan itself our face annexation it replied that '' The Franzinian Goverment has stepped up trade with the outside world and because of that, we have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars because we no longer have anyone to trade with''
The even more disturbing this was the rebels attacked Franz Airfield today and captured it with only 7 losses! This was to much to handle and so every bomber was directed towards the center of the city, bombing it mercilessly. The Naval forces also played a crucial role in the taken of the city, HMS Glory and HMS Sandy crepted up the sea towards the city and bombarded it, sadly HMS Sandy was sent to the bottom of the sea with half of the crew lost when a shell from the enemy artillery hit the shell deck of the battle cruiser and it exploded. With half the city rubble finally the Army was called in from Deery Fort.
With 45,000 men, 215 tanks and 22 batteries of machine guns the airfield was soon overwelmed and taken back with the loss of 200 men and no tanks. With the enemy running back several miles back to the capital we thought it was only right to give them pay back for all the killings over 2 days. General Mongomery Brown ordered 15,000 men from the capital of Franzinia *Nishem* to attack Nasia from the sea port, the rest of the 45,000 soldiers were to attack the outskirts with numerical superiority. This worked wonders and with this pincer movement we trapped the enemy where we wanted them, there city centre, now a bombed ruin. With only 2,300 men left Field Marshal Romanus ordered an all out defence of whatever was left of the city, he organised them into 20 batteries of machine gunners and 31 light infantry batteries which were to hold the city centre until the inevitable happened.
The fighting, fierce, the casualties, disturbing, the food, unbearable. A whole company of 500 soldiers on our side was wiped out just for 2 streets. A further 409 were going to die until the fighting was over, 4 tanks were also claimed. But they did not die for nothing, the fighting was over within eight hours of the invasion of the capital. 7 batteries of machine gunners were wiped out, and 9 light infantry batteries also wiped out. The rest surrendered. It reminds me of the battle of Berlin, the Nasians the German forces, The Franzinians the Soviets. All an All the casualties were:
1009 dead and 700 wounded, one cruiser and 6 tanks. *Our side*
800 dead and 935 wounded *Enemy*
