As a former colony of Vistadin (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=vistadin), our own ENN, Esperanto News Network reported this piece of news. We ourselves use the dema also.

Message from Vistadin's Minister of Economy:

Hello, nations of the world. I, Minister of Vistadin's economy, am proud to announce the emergence and success of a new currency. The dema. We hope that other nations will change their currency to the dema. This is the symbol for the dema:

Ð

For example: The minimum wage in Vistadin is Ð8.50

International News Media:

After getting wind of the new proposition calling nations to change their national currency to the dema, The Principality of ScottistanSSR, has decided to remain with their current currency, Marks. The Scottistan foreign minister had this to say: "We find no interest in changing our currency, such as the Europeans with their Euro policy. Our leader was quick and final in his decision to keep things the way they are, and most likely all nations of the 000LandOfCommunism000 will follow suit. I will make no further comment on thi issue." This news report was brought to you by International News Media, keeping you updated on world events.

I respect your decision to keep your currency, but I'm not forcing anyone to change their currency, I was just promoting mine.

(OOC: Proposition is the key word,I wasn't implying that you were forcing me either, I was just trying to get my country more involved in international affairs)

We are very proud of our currency. The Dinar. As far as we know, it's only used by us, Compy 386 and the second death star.

What incentive do we have to change our currency? How does your currency add up to the $ anyway? I have never had any relations with your nation, so we have no clue why we'd give up our currency!

IC:

The Money, our currency, is just a simple glass circle with i stripe of a red, yellow and orange stripe. One for each 100 money. (A three-money would hsae three stripes, a 5 would have 5 and so on)
