OOC: Just to clear a few things up 1st:
1.IDF's government is not aware of this.
2.Info on the sub classes involved is at
http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=144095
3.the 4th sub squadron has the following:
5 Galaxy SSNs
2 Seawolf SSNs
3 Los Angeles (improved) SSNs
2 Upholder SSKs
3 Kilo SSKs
2 Ohio SSGNs
6 support tenders (stealthed Farragut class DDG Armed merchant ships with choppers)

Haifa Submarine Station, base of 4th Sub squadron. 3 weeks ago

Admiral Mancuso watched as the IDF Galaxy class SSN USS Springfield left the base. It was the final of his large 4th sub squadron to leave base. It was a celebrated departure, but little did most people know, this was not to be a celebration.

Mancuso was an Atheist. He was hoping to bring religion down. Israel represented everything in religion. It was a holy site for the 3 main monotheistic religions of the world and he would try to take it down.

Mancuso was the greatest squadron commander in the IDF Navy. He was allowed to select his COs and XOs. He selected carefully making sure to select others of his agenda. The COs did the same in selecting their officers. About 15% of the men in the Navy were Atheist and many wanted to bring down religion. Mancuso was to reign in terror on the world like no one had seen before.

He would try and bring the world to war.

To be continued...

Nothing major happens until first attack.

Atheist, not Aetheist,
 OOC: I'm not against Atheism, it just makes the most sense for an RP. I thought of Communism or facism, but that wouldn't make sense here

OOC: Yeah, if commies tried to overthrow Israel, the ACA would move in with huge-arsed armies and pwnerate them all.

It doesn't make sence for me to make it communist uprising, I am capitalist, but have communist allies.

present day, somewhere in mid-Atlantic

Admiral Mancuso left on one of the Farragut DDGs, 18 days before. He would command this wave of attacks. The subs were in position and attacks would begin. IDF's naval command had no clue where any of the 4th squadron was, this was part of the operating doctrine, only the commander of the group knew where they were and he was the leader of the uprising and terror. The IDF Navy had no clue where he really was, he was sending false locations through a false transponder he put on another farragut, one with a skeleton crew that was sailing in the Pacific, where the Vice-Admiral and his squadron were suppose to be.

USS KANSAS, Galaxy SSN, North Atlantic

“Conn. Sonar,” called the Sonar chief. “New surface contact bearing 105, designate contact sierra 17.”

“Good,” called the CO. “Work a track on it.”

“aye sir,” said the Sonar chief. “it's in the area where the Cunard liner Queen Mary II ought to be.” The Kansas was searching for the world's largest cruise liner while she was doing Trans-Atlantic runs. It would be great to kill her.

“You really think it's her?” asked sonarman 2nd class John Skimmerhorn.

“Yeah,” said the Sonar Chief. “Now lets get an ID.”

“OK,” said Skimmerhorn. “Speed demon showing 22-23 knots, about the cruising speed for the QM II.”

“OK,” said the chief. “You see those frequency lines. That 4 wide one near 78 Hz means it is a cruise liner. That 2 wide near 120 says that it is a French built liner. I'm telling the skipper.”

“You sure about that?” asked the CO after hearing the SONAR chief. “Dive, take us up to 7-0 feet, PD.”

“Dive aye, coming up 5 bubble to 7-0 feet,” answered the Diving Officer.

“Radio,” called the captain. “raise Radar mast 4 feet, lets get a POSIDENT.”

“Yes sir,” said radio. “I read a Cunard liner, QM II POSIDENT.”

“Good,” said the CO. “Dive the ship, set depth 4-0-0 feet.”

“Dive the ship set depth at 400,” called the XO.

“Dive, dive, dive,” said the COB into the 1MC.

“taking us down 7 bubble, new depth 4-0-0 feet, dive aye,” called the dive officer.

“Helm,” called the CO. “take us right 10 degrees, new course 055. make turns for 10 knots. Weps, plot firing solution.”

30 minutes later

“Load tubes with mk-48N (the nuclear variant with 10 kt fission blast),” ordered the CO.

“done sir.”

“flood, equalize, open, match, set, and FIRE,” ordered the CO.

The torpedo went at 70 knots towards the liner. 5,500 were on the ship. She was famous and the largest in the world. Her loss would be disastrous to tourism and shake the world.

The Captain waited for the 16 tense minutes the torpedo would run. He had ordered the sub around and had it dive deep to 1,650 feet. He was rewarded when he heard a boom. QM II and all aboard her died. It would be thought that the blast originated from an onboard nuclear device, and there was no reason or evidence to see it otherwise, at least not yet.

The thing is now one knows about it outside the squadron. They aren't seeking outside help. However, it is possible for you to resupply them.

OOC: in the future yes, the IDF navy will need aid, but we aren't even aware that anything is wrong.

1403 - Republic of Skirt Shortening's national waters

Just as usually, one of the RoSS 4 Ticonderoga II CG class cruisers was patrolling the national waters. Suddenly, the radar officer starts talking on the loudspeakers.

"We have a sonar contact 3 miles north, half-submerged unidentified submarine doing 4 knots. All in combat position."

Capitan Ryan was the ship's captain. He radioed : "All engines full-power, head towards unidentified sub at 14 knots". As the ship got closer, he took his binoculars. "That's a Seawolf SSN. By the looks of it, it belongs to the IDF" he said to the nearest officer, who answered "What do we do then, he's in our territorial waters". The answer was clear : "That's the problem. IDF would never do such a thing. Their sailors are very well trained, and have clear orders." What should be done? "We're gonna do it the old way : we're ramming that sub."

As he gave the orders to ram the sub, sailors onboard were shocked yet motivated by their first naval engagement. As they headed to their combat position, tension could be felt. The sub kept going, 90 degrees from the Ticonderoga II CG cruiser. Most likely the sub's sonar officer wasn't paying attention. "Slow down to 8 knots, go straight ahead". 120 feet, 100 feet, 50 feet... Bang! Direct hit!

OOC: you can't just come up and ram the sub, none of mine are even within 200 miles of land. I'm keeping them in the middle of shipping lanes and they are running deep below the thermal layer.

If they find them, but there is no reason to, no one knows anything is wrong at this point.

yes, but it is coordinated between the ships and subs by the Admiral. They carry cruise missiles and can launch 1,200 miles off shore. They are not going within 200 miles of land at the time being due to the risks.
