Good afternoon. This is Araedd Ryddan, for Eldidd News.
The nation of Shessara mourns. Three hours ago Prince Haerlan was assassinated, believed to be perpetrated by dissenters from some of the larger disgruntled corporations, whom Haerlan had recently turned his attention to breaking down. The assassin was caught, escaping with the murder weapon, a rifle.
The Prince was 56, and his son Cyridd succeeded him to the throne, at age 21. He will- wait!

Reporter: Prince Cyridd! Prince Cyridd! How tragic this must be for you. Are you setting a time of mourning?
Cyridd: I regret to say that we have no time for mourning.
Reporter 2: Can you tell us why, your Highness?
Cyridd: My father was brought down because he fought the corporations who run this country, so I'll say this: I will not rest until every resistance to monarchal power is gone. Shessara will have a true ruler, giving out justice. These plutocratical pigs will have no hold on me!
Reporter 3: Some say that the corporations were just too strong. How will you get rid of them?
Cyridd: Any way I have to.
Reporter 2: Will you break laws set by your father to oust the corporations?
Cyridd: No. I will stay inside the laws. But I tell you, they will not last long.
Reporter 4: What precautions have been taken for your safety?
Cyridd: Obviously, these Shessaran High Guard.
