The Most Powerful Powerplant Avelible for Naval Vessles!
Capable Of 1 gigawatt Of Power the Antimatter reactor version 1 is the result of over 35 Years of rescreach and work by ECF Nuclear Engenirs!
It was not easy and the prototypes and 1st idea have cost over 400 Lifes due to acidents :( but it will be worth it for the great things it can bring.
This is by far the most expensive reactor ever built. We are willing to sell rights to consuct it. But it won't be cheap.

Future Tech? Becouse Anti-Matter wouldn't be mdoern, if it is any type of modern, it would be Post Modern....

I think it would be possible.
OOC: It costs hundreds if not thousands of dollars per particle to create antimatter. We've never made more than a few particles at a time, and I don't think we've made more than a few full-fledged atoms of antimatter ever. Every time we have created antimatter, it was destroyed in less than half a second. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Stealing from star trek heh?

I steal everything from Star Trek  I do watch it everynight.
But I'm not obbsessed *looks at StarTrek Games, shirts, hats unifroms, phaer pistols" doh
I think it would be quite possible to build an Antimatter Reactor.
1. It uses very little antimatter.
2.we funded this to a great extend and we can make it in larger quanities
3.sure it may be expensive but who cares.
4. I do have problems and need help
OOC: Telegram me. I might be able to help you with certain problems.

Same here.
Better than Star wars. I hate Star Wars.

Yay I found another trekkie
At Other guy:if you ever actually read about StarTrek you could even know that primitive reactors use very very very very very little antimatter.

Anti matteris the key to making warp drives work.

Well duh,
But there also used to provide power to the ships.
This reactor won't be going to warp it's only producing power.
OOC: I'm assuming I'm the other guy. Look, I know how much energy antimatter produces. Three micrograms of antimatter could probably power a trans-Atlantic cruise ship for its whole voyage, perhaps both ways. It's just that no one has ever succeeded in producing 1/100,000 of that amount.

Well I'm not anybody.
As far as I know the way it's done in Star Trek is quite simple and could be done today at a great cost.
I know it involes solar wind. When I find the TNG tech manual I can get back to you.
If I let other people build this how there going to power it is there problem.
Thats are little secert.

OOC: Star Wars > Star Trek. What now Trekkies?
I've got the TNG tech manual. As far as I recall, it doesn't specify how antimatter is generated. Antimatter could be produced in reasonable quantities today at great cost--if by "great cost" you mean the entire GNP of the United States. Storing it would present an even bigger problem.
Though I wouldn't mind helping you figure out some way to do it with modern or postmodern/prefuture tech. This is all RP, after all.

Indeed ( lets start RPING)
We have a working Reactor and Fuel for it.
However it's a very expensive process. We would like to ally with you. We could co develop a decent fueling process. And Possibley even Build SPacecraft with this type of power source.
PS: Look in the section of The Fueling Of a Galaxy Class Star Ship. Or that could be the Enterprise D Manuel I'm not sure.

why not use fusion reactors. They are much more stable, not to mention we can reuse it with our plasma generator technology
East Coast Federation

Because anti Matter is much more powerful. And we didn't dump all this money into this thing for nothing.
At Ximea: Would you like to ally and we can co develop and improve the reactor?

bumbage.
If anyone has the tech to help us develop a cheaper fueling process. And wishes to help in our reseacrh with this reactor post it here.

Come On No One Wants a piece of the pie?
Ximea's Science Ministry wishes to establish a joint research effort to determine if and how antimatter can be generated feasibly. If our efforts are successful, we ask to be included in any efforts to find industrial, scientific and military applications.

This would be wonderful.
As we only have enough for some testing.
We also love to ally with you.
We think that our 2 nations can develop a better fueling process.
It would be a shame to see our reactor go to waste
