After months of extensive testing on the prototype the new shadow class ASSN Submarine has begun construction.

Armament: 6 forward tubes 4 rear firing Spearfish anti-Surface torpedoes and Stingray anti-Submarine torpedoes, 6 vertical launch tubes firing tomahawk cruise missiles. Also can launch Harpoon anti-ship Missile. Sea Dart SAM Missile
Countermeasures: 2 tubes
Sensors: Ultra-Sophisticated all-round sonar coverage achieved through platypus bow Sonar and after fin arrays. Attack and Search Periscopes, Collision avoidance radar, Electronic warfare equipment Type 994 surface search E/F band, Type 909 Sea Dart tracking radars.
Cost: Classified.

Directional Waterjet Propulsion Pods
Ultra-Quiet directable podded water jet propulsion units rotate at the root to provide vectored directional thrust and unparalled high/low speed manoeuvrability in conjunction with single lower rudder for stability and steering.

Sensor Arrays
Ultra-Sophisticated all-round sonar coverage achieved through platypus bow sonar and after fin arrays.

It will take about 3 N.S years for the first to be constructed and after that many more have been planed after that. Once the first one is operational it shall become the flagship of the first fleet.
