mIRC is a good free client. It can be downloaded from www.mirc.com , with a thirty day trial, but what I like to do is:
after the trial ends, on the login screen , after about a second, continue comes up and you can go in. Of course, your free to find your own IRC clients. Its on the NS server as well.

Ports:5555,6667-6669
Name:#socialist_international
It will be up for a whole day, GMT exact time. Thats if im allowed to keep it up when everyones outa the house. Sunday and saturday are no probs, I can keep it up sat and fri night. Op positions will be given to keep the channel up, but only to trusted people. Its up now, if anyones interested.
