"All is accounted for, I believe, Vytautas?"
A deep, calm, sure, yet obviously dark voice sounded out to Vytautas Karyu, High Admiral of the Draconic Liangite Navy.
Yes, of course, Messenger. Even now they move closer to Bombay.
The higher, less secure voice of Karyu moved back over the phone lines.
After their little attempt at humiliating us we can no longer allow Bombay such a meager garrison. Give our pre-arranged excuse and see if they dare to question us. That will be all, Elder.

The Demon inwardly laughed at the title 'Elder'. Yorinaga was many times older than any in the Council, yet he looked like he was in his 30's. As he ended the call he did not have an ounce of forbodding over the Ruler's decision.

The First and Second Armadas, having recently evac'd remaining Disciples in the Deccan, moved north along the Magdhan coast to Bombay, and began unloading of hundreds of thousands of Disciples as quickly as possible. To the untrained eye and the casual Hindu observer, it looked as if an invasion was underway as Disciples scrambled to get onto the land.
Just in case, over a thousand planes, less than a tenth of the massive armada's capability, remained overhead, shifting out in patrols.

No notice was given to any of Liang's few diplomatic contacts.

What is the purpose for this buildup?

5 million Whittier troops have been ordered to surround Bombay.
Whittier formally announces resumption of construction of the wall.
We propose you stay on your side, and we stay on ours.

"To help defeat terrorism, Whittier. We resent that you seem to have re-taken up your little wall-building program and seem to have measures in place to transport a large quantity of troops towards Bombay. No need to be alarmed."

The High Admiral smiled as he sent the transmission to the Union of People's Republics.
The DDMC forces, numbering over six hundred thousand men together with the initial garrison of Bombay, after landing, moved right up to the Bombay-Whittier border line. The carrier fleets continued landing men and materiel, and the Third Armada, recently re-fitted in Liang itself, moved out from the Liangite Maldives, towards Bombay with another load of men.
OOC: How many men total do you have stationed in India?

OOC: At least 50 million. The wall is being constructed 5 miles outside of Bombay. That should give you some land to play with.

IC: A Whittier U2 spy plane flies over Bombay taking photos of the activity below. The top of the wall will be covered with razorwire and machinegun turrets (pointed toward Bombay of course :D ). And after construction, one mile on the whittier side will be mined.

OOC: How did you cram 50 million men into India in that short period of time? If that's so I'm going to magically have over 20 million, because I am way closer to India than you are and I had more fleets conducting transport duty. Furthermore, how do you even have 50 million men? According to the calculator Im using even if over 10% of your population was in the military you would still have a much smaller field army. Even if you include logistics, thats still far too large. Please tell how you arrive at your military numbers.

Demon Messenger of the Ancient Ruler

A pack of Raptors, on patrol as always over Liangite air space in Bombay, spotted the U2 spy plane fly over the border with ease.
They had already been briefed on what to do in such a situation.
As such, they promptly blew the plane out of the sky.

The Third Armada moved in towards Bombay to allow a further hundred thousand men to move in at Bombay.

OOC: Yes, but are you including AF and Navy numbers (and respected logistics) in that? If so then I have absolutely no complaint and you could easily have more, but if not then my complaint stands.
IC

Official Response from low-ranking Liangite official: "The pilot has apparently died in the assault by numerous Raptors. "

In reality, a C-130 took the captured pilot onto the departing 2nd Armada, on its way back to the Liangite homeworld, where he would be "vigorously interrogated", to use the Messenger's term, about various Whitterite dispositions.

The Council of Elders had once more convened, this time on a far more important matter: the first target of the unveiled Dracospawn.

"Well, Karyu, what do you think on the matter?" asked a particularly pompous member of the Council, who some said didn't deserve his spot.

"I'm all for unleashing the spawn on India. These soldiers will tip the odds in our favor a hundred to one, Council, and you know it."

"Vytautas! You, of all people, should know we Liangites must maintain some shred of dignity. What do you think will happen when the spawn win a battle, hmm? Rape, destruction, torture, murder. Behaving like some of those shadier powers."
The speaker wet himself when a voice came from behind him.

"Almost like...demons." Lord Yorinaga stood behind the man, his dark hand holding a lengthened katana which had an eerie dark violet glow emanating from its blade. "They would behave exactly like I would, Elder. Is there something wrong with that?"
The Demon casually allowed the wicked sword to be seen around the length of the chair.
"Uh-I mean, w-well, nn--definately not, Messenger," spoke the Elder, growing paler by the second.
"Then it is settled. The Dracospawn, by order of the Ruler, will be sent to India."
"B-bombay, you mean?"
"I said India, did I not?"

The first foreign land a Dracospawn had set foot on: India. Two hundred thousand of them were here, and they all looked amused at the frightened looks the six hundred thousand Disciples were giving them. Disciples were the epitomy of non-genetically altered warfare, but the Dracospawn? They were unmatched by any but Sentinels and Reavers, and perhaps an Uruk-Hai, all of them unnatural or unique.

More and more were growing into maturation, and there were technically over six hundred thousand others ready to go at ages 19, 18, and 17, all of them having reached the epitomy of military capability long ago. Their military training was moved back to age 10, as the newest 'batch' began its slow cycle towards maturation.

Six hundred thousand other Dracospawn mobilized and moved out towards port. At age 4 they had surpassed a normal man, but ages 17-20? They made them obsolete.

Whittier soldiers working on the last parts of the wall, peer down at the "freak shows" on the other side and look away in disgust.
In the distance to the east, the new University has been completed.
Businesses were beginning to sprout up across India with Whittier provided seed moneys.
"Don't worry, they could never beat us in a game of rugby" said Nathaniel Norton, Whittier's Civil Affairs Officer in this part of India, to his Magdhan counterpart.
"Socialist athletic teams are superior to those from any other type of nation. And lets not forget our civilian passenger planes are better and so are our soft drinks. These are things the Liangites don't have."

A Dracospawn patrolling the perimeter of Bombay looks with murder in his eyes at the disgusted looks of a Whittierite soldier. As shots felled the soldier, the other soldiers quick instinctual reflexes take control and they return fire with their AK 74's.
While the 10th soldier crouches down behind the wall to call for a medevac and reinforcements.

AK-74 fire, looking like it was fired by 5 year olds compared to the Liangite fire, came wildly flying in to the area. Twenty other Dracospawn look up, firing shots that look liked they were guided by target computers directly at Whittierite soldiers as they calmly move behind field fortifications. An enterprising spawn, thinking himself clever, gets ten of his grenadier buddies and uses the launcher on their M16/203s to fire grenades right on top of the Wall of Bombay.

Dao Yorinaga, temporarily in Bombay to oversee the arrival of the Dracospawn, hears of the violence. Chuckling inwardly, he calmly tells a worried messenger to "let it go awhile", and heads for the shower.

Brezhnekov's General in Command of the India theater, General Corpinski, a man with a cooler head, orders a cease fire.
Thinking to himself how unfortunate it is that the the NL government mistreats its Dracospawns so much that the only thing they're allowed to do is walk around with weapons all day shooting at walls.
Rather, the Liangite's treatment of the Dracospawn was tantamount to violations of their human rights.
