We have launched an effort to eliminate genocide and need your support. There is a U.N. proposal entitled "Quash Genocide Now," and we still need some 140 votes approving it before it can be formally considered and passed as a resolution. Below is the text of the proposal.
Quash Genocide Now
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Description: Because genocide threatens the existence of the poorest and most vulnerable members of our world,
And further because such acts deprive individuals and groups of their inalienable human rights,
And finally because such acts cry out for swift justice on behalf of the oppressed peoples of the earth,
We, the U.N. member states, hereby resolve to quash any acts of genocide with swift, staggering and successful military force against any genocidal agressors, on behalf of the people they would destroy.
While we unequivocally condemn unjust wars of conquest, we equally resolve that our concern for peace and global stabiity will never prevent us from fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.
Rather, we resolve to view world crises with eyes wide open and to respond with unwavering resolve wherever and whenever justice calls. We affirm the right to wage humanitarian wars on behalf of those whose plight requires them.
