The Sha of Vyeryon declared war on the Island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea. Shortly After this declaration the Sha ordered the Atlantic Fleet, which consists of 2 carriers, 2 battleships, 5 destroyers, 3 heavy cruisers and 7 light cruisers, to approach the western shore of Corsica.

Bartica Then Orderd 10 divisions of imperal forces (100,000 men) armed with AK-47 assault rifles to take thier posititions in thier LCPVs and prepare to start the invasion once the battleships had stopped shelling the main cities in Corsica.

We wait for word of the current rulers of Corsica

The Sha has just ordered the bombing to commence on the capital city. Tomahawks and other large Cruise Missles were launch towards the capital city

The Triumviate demands to know why you have declared war. Although we are an ally of Magdha, we will not commit forces until an explanation is given.

Vyeryon would like Corsica the base of operations so other countries know where i'm based. Currently, Vyeryon does not have a set area of occupation.

OOC= I want a real life location so i can stage attacks more effiecently and more realistically. Corsica is the perfect place for a nation of my size. And I believe no one is currently in Corsica, so I will own it by tommorow

The Sha of Vyeryon has just ordered operation "Beach Vulture", the operation that involves the invasion of land by ground forces, to begin. The main infantry forces of Vyeryon attacked the Western shoreline of Corsica.
The main infantry forces of Bartica attacked the Eastern shoreline. While the highly trained Magdhan forces closed in on the Northern and sSouthern beaches.

So far, the Allied Forces have not recieved any major blows, however the 3rd armored tank division did have a friendly fire accident. 4 lives were lost. The Vyeryonian Authorities are looking to how this happened.

Magdhan JSFs rocketed off the carrier Enterprise and flew towards the main power plants of the Island or other infastructure. At 20,000 feet the ground below was a blur but satellites had predetermined the positions of the targets and they were locked into the flight computer. Colonel Kanwal Rekhi aligned his plane to drop on the power plant in the next few seconds and flew forward, the computer dropping the bomb at the prescise second.

Magdhan Cruisers Ticonderoga and Saratoga fired their 6 inch guns while marine hovercrafts glided through the surf towards the shores of Corsica.

President Julius Verian, ever since his father's death, and his ascension to the presidency, had been waiting to test out the rebuilt Tundric military. Now was his chance, Corsica was being invaded by several nations bent simply on expanding their domains by military force, a perfect reason for the war he had been craving.

Julius ordered several of the carrier groups out in the world's oceans to converge near the theatre of operations. He also ordered the military to ready alert, and ordered two of the rapid deployment mechanized divisions to deploy to Corsica, to pave the way, he ordered the carriers Sword of the North and Spirit of the North to begin air superiorty missions, while their respective escort carriers would assist while the warships in their battlegroups would prepare to engage the attacking fleets.

The Magdhan hovercrafts landed upon the shore and spilled the marines onto the beach. Tanks pulled forward towards the town of Ajaccio.

The tiny Marine division was no mach for 500,000 troops but they were supporting a new nation taking hold on their only territory and with a bit of strategic setup they could kill every last invader.

OOC: Uh, New Kingman, im not sure the stats on the Stryker APC, but the one I think I saw said it only has one machine gun...if thats so, you really ought to go for the original Stryker, which is the Canadian LAV III APC, its much better armed.

Although war has not been officially declared, it would appear that fighting may soon begin and the nation of Sacqu wishes to mount adequate defenses as it has ships stationed in the area. Sacqu fully supports New Kingman as Sacqu has long held Magdha and his allies as enemies. For now the carrier and two cruisers will remain in their positions 150 miles from shore. The military presence, however has been upgraded, with everything 150 miles from Corsica. The presence is thus:

Vyeryon would like to announce the fact that no country was previously occupying Corsica, the military force was just a precaution.
No country has responded to the Vyeryonian occupation of Corsica. Therefore, Vyeryon is not starting a war on anyone. Where as the imposing nations have.

Vyeryonian Forces have stopped all attacks on Corsica, as of now, due to the fact that no previous government was in control, Vyeryon's area of control will be Corsica. The Sha of Vyeryon is extremely sorry for mistake and would like the other Opposing Hostile Forces to stand down (NK).
