The Grand Councils' chatter fell to a low buzz as Ernesto Sanchez entered the room. It had been circulated that he would make statement regarding the Dr_Twist war, a war which had been highly contraversial back home.

To all members of the Grand Council, to the Comrades of Momanguise, to the citizens of the world. Something is brewing in the Balkans. Today, anything up to fifty million armed men stand opposed to each accross a great divide. Europe suffered greatly in the last one hundred years, so we know what such a divide can do. However, the cauldron has not yet boiled over, there have been no major clashes of arms. We are in a unique situation today, that we can save millions of lives. I call upon the leaderships of all nations involved in the conflict, to stand down.

Sanchez took a long drink of water, breathing heavily. He then continued.

Great attrocities were commited. Thousands, nay, millions of Greek citizens were killed. However, the culprit fled. We now know that he was caught by vigilantes as he left Bulgaria, and was shot*. We feel that these injustices can be sorted out by talking, and diplomacy. We call upon the Government of Automagfreek therefore to postpone any current plans of retalleration, and to avoid needless civilian loss of life. This was not the actions of a country. This was the actions of a man, a pariah leader who is now dead.

We hereby call upon all nations involved to stand down from their positions of hostility, and rely upon diplomacy to solve this crisis.

All Matich Forces have been ordered to stand down.

In an official Statement from the President he said that all USIH ground forces would be standing down and remaining in their current positions in a defensive posture.

However air units will be enforcing a 100mile no fly zone around IH troops and naval assets to ensure their security.

OCC: VL Marched into Bulgaria this morning and captured Surrendering DT Communist Forces. I will not lose this one while my Population is Split.

The Allied States of Celtayoshi will withdraw its forces from Croatia, engineers will be left behind fro a small period of time to ensure the bases we constructed are not going to fall easily into enemy hands.

I agree to 2 3 and 4, Wont agree to 1.

With the Uprisings look the Russian Invasion of Finland in WW2, The Communists will lose as i will be fighting in my Home Territory. We don't want an Uprising, it will only happen to nations who don't leave Dr_Twist.

The Tsar will also Allow a 3 Party system to move into DT, monarchist, Democrats and Democratic Communists. This will be the Base for the new Democratic Government in DT lead by the Tsar as the Official Figure head of the Nation. There will be no Limiting of Ether Party in a Political Sense but the Constitution that will be put in place can not be abolished.

Let it be known the the USIH will support no partioning of the land of Dr_Twist whilst it is still in a position to have the entire of the nation remain as one.

All IH forces in the region have been put back onto a war footing for possible continuation of conflict against any communist countries that attempt to grab land from Dr_twist whilst it is in this period of transistion and forced weakness.

As such the call up of Reserves and National Guardsmen will continue in the USIH for the near future to enable the security and unity of Dr_Twist as well as troops currently in the region.

The 7th and 9th Armies that are currently in the region will be reinforced by the 1st and elements of the 3rd Armies to aid in the security and reconstruction of Dr_Twist.
