Praetonian troops inside The Deadly Viper have moved to encircle the Viperian Capitol. They will not allow Cam III to pass into the city. Any attack on them will be considered an act of war against Praetonia and will be dealt with accordingly.

We do not wish to fight with our ally, but this blatant act of Imperialism against a nation that Praetonian troops died to change into a sensible member of the international community cannot be allowed to continue.

Since Nellisland and Third Jerusalem are right next to each countermeasures have been taken to repel the ICBMs. Unfortunitly it will be too late for Massive Ethiopians.

Nellisland has now lost its cool and has sent 500,000 troops to Cam III and will arrive in 1 day! Also Cam III has sent its navy to attack the deadly viper but the TDV is landlocked and would have to go through either me, Muktar, Vaenv, or Gynica. And I don't think you want to mess with us!

The nation of Ardora condemns the use of nuclear weapons by Cam III and calls on the International Community to respond in the strongest possible way.

The attempted nuclear assault by Cam III against Sarzonia was shot down by Sarzonia's missile defense systems.

"Those bastards will pay for this!" Vice President for Defense Terrence Wilson shouted, before punching the bulletin board behind his desk. He placed a call to Parliament.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news," House Speaker Josh Williams told Wilson after the vice president called him and tried to tell Parliament to declare war. "But you're going to have to make a stronger case for war than the one you've just made."

Meanwhile, President Mike Sarzo watched the reports of Cam III's strikes with building outrage. He placed his own call to Williams.

"WHAT!" Williams answered, thinking that Wilson was trying yet again to goad him into asking Parliament for a war declaration.

"Josh! It's Mike."

"Oh, I'm sorry Mike. I thought you were Terry."

"What did Terry do this time?"

"He's been on my case about declaring war on Cam III for their attacks."

"I was just going to call you about that. I wanted to know what you thought we should do about them."

Williams sighed. He was sick and tired of hearing about Cam III, but he realized Sarzo was asking his opinion and wasn't going to try to cajole him into sending Sarzonia off to war.

"I think what we ought to do is send an observational force to Cam III. Not a blockade, but an observational fleet. They should let trade go through, but they should be ready at a moment's notice."

"What if they try to launch nukes at our ships?"

"If they fire one shot against us, that will be an act of war."

"Didn't they already do that by launching that attack?"

"Well," Williams said thoughtfully. "One missile could have been a mistake. If he's firing that against our navy, that wouldn't likely be a mistake."

"I see your point," Sarzo said gravely. "I like your idea of sending a fleet to observe. Just make sure the fleet stays in international waters and lets commerce through. They don't have jurisdiction over international waters and they can't claim we're blockading them if we're letting commerce through. But if there is a war," Sarzo's voice trailed off. He realized he was already explaining something that Williams was familiar with.

"Call John and let him know I'm authorizing a fleet to sail to international waters near Cam III."

"Will do, Mike."

Sarzo hung up the phone, shaking his head. He wanted Sarzonia to stand down from their military actions of the recent past, but events seemed to prevent that.

Imperial Praetonian Shipyards, Praetonia

Secretary: Sir, the Prime Minister is on the line for you.

Prime Minister: Hello, are the ships we're making for Cam III ready yet?

Director-General: Yes, both fleets. The Camian crews are ready to sail them now.

Prime Minister: Right, good. We're sending men down to arrest those crews, and the ships are now siconded in to the Imperial Navy.

Director-General: What? What are you... That's odd, he's hung up.

Later that day the two Fleets set sail for Cam III's shores, crewed by sailors if the Imperial Navy. On the way they would be met by planes for the carriers flying out of Praeton. There orders were simple:

Cam III is to be warned that any further nuclear devices used against Praetonia or her assets would be responded to in kind.

High Orbit over Cam III

"Sir we have recieved the appropriate "Go" codes."

There is an ominous hum throughout the station as the main cannon powers up and bay doors slide back to revealthe tips of gleaming missiles.

"Standby to fire on my command."

The hum builds to a high pitched whine and then there is a a dull "thoom". A green-white beam of energy lances to earth, penetrating the atmosphere and in seconds impacts on Cam's Capital city.

We condemn the use of nuclear weapons by Cam III, and it saddens us to see other countries retaliating with the use of such weapons as well. We urge Cam III's imperialism to stop immediately, and we urge all other nations to cease military actions against him. For humanity's sake... stop this.

As my siezure of your fleet and attacks made against you were made on the assumtion that you had tried to nuke me, I have ignored them. I just hope that this doesnt happen again.

Muktar will be supplying whatever aid it can to TDV and allies, being TDV's regionmate. However, recent diplomatic events have made in impossible to partake actively in the war.
