At the international fishing convention on the shores of Gripaan several National figure heads met to discuss trout fishing rights and ethics. An outbreak of Vacnarr fever in a nearby Shanty town lead to many delegates being moved off sure to Smergheed Island. Only one boat supplies the island and all of its contents are screened before ariving on the island. After the fishing conference was finished the delegates began to be evacuated from the island via cargo helicopter. The fourth helicopter crashed in a storm. Those who survived didn't remain sain. The delegate for Woolfedom was left babbling about blaspmous shapes but was obviously mad. The few delegates that are left are sitting in the smoking room of Smergheed castle to the back drop of thunder, overlooking the village of Smergheed (a bit of a cliche but who cares). They wait to be evacutated but with a storm, a plague on the main land and bits helicopter washing up on the beach every now and again no helicopter piolet wants to fly out or in. Whilst enjoying brandy and cigars the delegates are left asking the question, what the hell is going on?
