The Tiberius conflict in USN

Hesperique
20-06-2004, 16:09
At 20:00 Eastern standard time, Exilian and Hesperican troops entered the disputed province of Tiberius currently held by the rogue Emirate of Monogolia. Diplomatic talks had failed between Hesperique and the Emirate when the region of Union of Spanish Nations held peace talks in the nation of Flips Iron Fist.

Why is Tiberius so important to Hesperique?

Despite the recent claims of Hesperique having an economic stronghold over the Emirate, it all started by the Mono-Spanish war which had happened early this century. Hesperique was invaded by the Emirate and when Hesperique was freed by Prismos the sancho treaty (imposed by Prismos) did not outline the giving back of the Tiberius province and so the Emirate kept hold of the prvince despite the significant Hesperican population there. After the Catholic revolution the Pope also did not like the idea of St Cecilia's cathedral being in the hands of Monogolians.
