The Senate and Federation Council have officially declared open war against the Shivan Imperium. Federation forces were called upon by the Empire of Underwater Asylum to defend thier homeworld. The battle was lost, and one Federation Cruiser was destroyed attempting and succeeding in heavily damaging the attacking Shivan vessel.
